Concept: Somebody modifies a Brain Tumbler into a cannon that forcefully pulls multiple people into their psyches/the astral plane as a way to temporarily incapacitate psychics.

you have no idea how confused ive been for the last however many months to hear people casually talking about stanley cups, like as a fad or something? and how people shouldn't have them or something? and this WHOLE time ive kept thinking 'isnt there just the one? dont you have to give it back to the hockey association next year??'

hot take but like why are we as a society still using lead in manufacturing processes in 2024...

anyway tldr of this is that you are not being exposed to lead unless the circular piece on the bottom of the cup is damaged. so, owning a cup like this will likely not result in lead exposure. this is similar to the fact that in older housing where lead paint has been painted over in subsequent decades, and that paint is in good condition, then it is not a risk. lead based paint only becomes an issue when it is deteriorating (chipping, cracking, peeling, chalking, etc) or being turned into dust during renovation activites. so yeah, in a similar way--you aren't going to get lead poisoning unless the steel compontent on this water bottles comes off.

but also this article says that these lead pellets that are used in the cups are an "industry standard" and i'm like: why? WHY is it industry standard in 2024? at least with lead pipes and lead based paint, we're just dealing with issues from prior decades. but this is current so there is a conscious decision to still use lead in products. also, i don't know enough about this subject (bottle manufacturing) to know why they prefer to use lead for this step, or where in the world they manufacture the cups, but my other concern is that even though the general public will likely not be exposed if it's covered, there are still workers who have to handle it during production.

anyway, i just find that i am constantly learning about more places that lead gets found and it's just. sigh. i know lead has many appealing properties which is why it is constantly found everywhere in everything but at this point it's incredibly clear that no benefits outweigh its risks....

The softness in Jack's face in the first one, obviously, has got me feeling stupid because I love a grown man falling in love.

But the second one... I dunno. I know the companions look at whoever is leading dialogues, I suppose waiting to see what they'll do but there's something about seeing it from Gale's perspective. The gnomes are talking, Jack is simply eavesdropping at the moment but still Gale can't take his eyes off of him and I dunno I dunno. it's got me feeling something. The way you watch someone when you know they're unaware. The way he's distracted right now so Gale can just look.

Underworld office and Charlie in underworld spoilers :)

This man Single Handedly was a father figure for Eugene and helped them through their character arc though the first game, And also absolutely DESTROYED their character development in the second game and made Eugene question Litterly EVERYTHING he had done and was told. Boss is Such an interesting character. He genuinely cares about everyone in the office and wants them all to be happy, but he also doesn't want them to leave so he isn't alone again. He single handedly brought them ALL together and also single handedly RIPPED them apart.

And by the beginning of the second game Boss knows he is in too deep by now to back out. As soon as he sees Charlie (at least in my head), and sees that they are bright and KNOWS that things are about to be rough. I think that's why in the beginning of ciu when the gang gets together after dealing with the dark spirit Boss is just kinda in the back... he is probably thinking... about litterly everything.

He is SO interesting!!! He cares about everyone, but also hurt them all so horribly. Boss and his character is soooooooooo intersting to think about, I love him so much but he is also the worst. But he also ment the best for everyone, but he also knowingly kept a secret that forced them to stay with him.

Charlie in underworld was Such a heartwrenching game, but it's also SOOOOOO interesting to think about!!!!!

I can't get myself to read this book I've had since Christmas and it's frustrating because my dad got it for me, so it feels disrespectfull. It's not the case that I don't want to read the book. The issue is that it is Murtagh and it is an epilogue of one of my favorite book series, Eragon. I think I'm scared that it won't be as good as I want it to be or possibly even worse, it could be better than the original.

The worst thing about the first Psychonauts game is the sound mixing for sure. Can't stand how you play like the entire game hearing farting or crying over all the interesting parts of the levels due to poor emotional baggage and Oatmeal placement....

I either need to be drench by a violent rainstorm or drift deep in space surrounded by stars. both sound really good.
