before i came on to reblog stuff as usual, i was just going through the things that were made for me this year by both @raplinenthusiasts & @cordiallyfuturedwight, and i can't tell you how grateful i am to have met such lovely souls on this site. i will cherish every single one of these sets forever 💗

been thinking about this post lately and i wish i had the gumption to write a fic where jack calls his mama to tell her the news that he's getting married after knocking lureen up. i don't know if he'd tell her he got her pregnant, but i like thinking about how she'd react to the news. i don't think jack had ever mentioned lureen to his mama before, so when he says he's getting married it probably comes as a real shock to her, and she probably figures that something fishy is afoot. her concerns are also probably confirmed when she gets word of little bobby's arrival less than nine months after the wedding...

i think she'd be okay with it, though. sure, she wouldn't be happy that he got her pregnant before they were married, but she's probably glad to see some uhh. direction in jack's life. i feel like she's also always had her suspicions about her son's sexuality, and so it comes as a reassurance to her that he's finally interested in the things he 'should' be interested in, like having a wife and raising up a family.

but then he visits home after seeing Ennis in the fall of 1967, and he spares very few words for his family in between all the ramblimg about Ennis, and it's at that moment she knows without a doubt that her baby boy is different, because it's the first time she's seen him so vibrant and alive since...well, since the summer he'd met Ennis. And it hurts her, but she realizes then that it's something she has to come to terms with, cause it seems like Ennis del Mar is going to be sticking around for awhile yet...

If this is any prediction that the girl at two has already declared her mount will not be a horse, but Starspire herself, one cannot fathom anything else. She laughed when he mentioned he will have to tell the girl when she’s older that the dragons are not to be flown in westeros and she will have to have a horse as he does. Lest the Dragon of myth and prophecy see her end by scorpion bolt.

On leaving vermillion by Rhaemion and Rhaegar’s. She makes her way by the remnants of the stone walkway closer towards the ruin. The three spent a lot of time in summerhall, her and Rhaegar spending the most.

when i was about ten my hamster selymi was dying of either illness or old age or both and my mum gave me the task of transporting him into the bucket we'd take him to the vet in and i stared at him for long and dear minutes as he was breathing shallowly but otherwise unmoving on his side that was nearly devoid of all fur now on his bedding outside of his little house and i remember not wanting to touch him and i dont even remember why now because as i was looking at him in that moment even if death had nine good fingers on him he was my hamster and i could be and had to be more tender than ever before and this is why i can put any spider among the nearest available foliage today i think
