I thought Wedding Planner would be doing really well because it's a Mame project. But I have seen conversations within fandom circles from LITA saying that the chemistry between the actors isn't there, the story is terrible, a lot of scenes are replicas of LITA scenes, Mame isn't promoting the show at all because she's too immersed with LITA actors. I think a lot of this comes from bias and people won't give it a chance because it's not a bossneoul show + the hype of LITA probably makes it difficult for this show to follow straight after it.

There are definitely people who are watching it without comparing but it makes me sad for the actors in Wedding Plan.

I think that's true, at least somewhat, sadly.

It's a good show and I like the LITA tie-ins but it feels a bit too short (for me) and like a lot of people simply didn't watch/talk about it. Of course, a lot of other people seem to like that it's not full of things like her usual work but I still can't help but feel salty that I can only find like 5 fanfics for it on AO3, where it doesn't even have an official 'tag' if you will (and one of those 5 is mine).

Compared to LITA since we both mentioned it, it's like night and day.

It feels more like a cute, short in-between show from LITA to whatever is next but I feel like it had potential for me. I doubt we will see that but well, here's to hoping. It definitely had the hype of PrapaiSky's wedding in the first episode (and PhayuRain's engagement later on) but once the focus became the actual characters of the show, it felt like it slowly but surely went away :/

As for the main couple/actors, I think they have potential/chemistry, they just didn't have much to work with until almost the last episode because of the plot itself holding both of them back from being together if you will. As for the story being terrible, I definitely don't agree with that, but to each their own.

Lets just hope the next one will do better but I will forever be sad at least the fanfics didn't seem to take off...

Also it depends on people and their perspectives. Some people see Fortpeat as more than friends and some don't. That's completely okay. You do you. Right !!
