How do tumblr work? haven’t been here for 4 years... why is everything different. Holy Moly

i started reading project Hail Mary yesterday morning and finished it last night.

Addicted was an understatement. I loved the characters and the bonds that were made. The story was humorous yet also endearing in a way. Grace was hilarious and amusing, I throughly enjoyed reading his internal monologue. The way the flash backs, or memories were set up caught me off guard but I grew to enjoy them. There were a few times it felt overwhelming and I had to put it down, but it was phenomenal.

I read the Martian last year and it easily became one of my favorite books. Needless to say, project Hail Mary has as well.

Anyways, if you were looking for a scifi space book to pick up and read, this is your sign!

Shouldn't it be easier to find like-minded no sleep friends??? Like why am I up at 3am not getting tiktoks sent to me by an equity dumb person???

I sit in my chair, its surface covered in holes for reasons beyond my understanding, begrudgingly typing as some futile form of entertainment. 

Today started as usual. I woke with a stomach pain notable only for its non descriptiveness. It hurt in no particular area on the torso without any describable sensations aside from general discomfort. The feeling will likely continue for the greater part of the day. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t bother me much. I don’t really feel pain in a “normal” manner.

I dressed, making sure not to wear the clothes from yesterday and instead opting to wear the ones from the day prior, a decision made not out of any desire for hygiene, but to be perceived as having something resembling a put together existence. Then, I eat. Some sort of fruit, oatmeal, water, pills and more water. 

All of this to go to school and try with little enthusiasm to do the bare minimum. Well, sort of. Today I instead opted to explain my daily routine in excruciating detail, simultaneously congratulating myself for writing in such an “educated” vocabulary and looking back in confusion for having such thoughts. 

Somehow I managed to sit in one classroom for 20 minutes. I am astonished by this. As some sort of ironic reward I will leave for a while. Don’t worry though, for I will surely return.

I’m back in Tumblr after a couple of years and I need friendssss 😭 Does anyone wanna talk?
