Infected Home-verse AU [IH!AU]

Meanwhile, back in Linx’s home universe…

The effects this apocalypse had on him is mostly his sleep. It’s been hard to sleep in such conditions; needing to be constantly alert. He can’t lose anyone else.

After a couple years of this viral infection spreading damn near everywhere, there’s never been more of a need for a hero. Draining every last drop of energy he has, Sonic is out there, zipping around and searching for more survivors to rescue and send to a safe-zone. Though, with such use of energy, and with less help than before, it’s been hard to stay tip-top shape.

ETA: Sonic doesn’t use the knife for any nefarious purposes! It’s mostly used as a freeing tool for those who are stuck out in the open, or if he himself somehow, by whatever curse, gets stuck.

-it's canon he's gotten kidnapped once -his gear is the super spy drone -they have a sibling based off of the super spy blaster -he's kind of a hermit. probably hates talking to people in person but loves talking thru the drone. would def be a "introvert irl, extrovert on the internet" kinda person -was originally gonna be thieves' den moving into lost temple, but i scrapped that idea -he'd probably try to become friends with mx. bot (and fail) -they 100% wear a sock from opposite pairs on each foot and adjust them to be different heights on purpose -he wouldn't throw broker under the bus except for in life or death situations
