It's here everybody! Dungeons and Daddies the Manga is now possible for you to buy and to hold!

I'll have this store open for a few months to let orders build up before I place my own order to get the books made (I don't want to order 100 books in advance and only get 50 orders, leaving me with a ton of leftovers, y'know?), so be prepared to wait a while before it's actually in your hands.

Dungeons and Daddies the Manga is over 250 pages, and costs $25 CAD (~$18 USD) before shipping, which is about $2 less than the manga I most recently bought!

While you're over there, I also have a leftover sale for the stickers I made for the anniversary some months ago, so if you missed out on those, now is the time to grab them while supplies last! They're $10 CAD a pack (~$7 USD).

Hey folks~

I've been working on something for quite some time and I'm finally ready to share some of it.

Water, Blood and Wine is the dream-like retelling of a young man’s encounter with the entity known as the King of Oaks. Told from his perspective, the story follows the protagonist Lau as he is magically saved from bleeding out in the snow and awakes in the realm of summer. There, love blossoms among fruit and flowers...

The whole story is about 70-80 pages long, I'm currently at 22 finished pages, with script and thumbnails done. This is the biggest and longest project I have ever successfully stuck with and sharing it means a lot to me. This thing is thoroughly queer, with a trans man lead and lots of love in and on the pages. It would mean a lot if people would check it out!!

As of this month, my £4 tier patrons get early access to my graphic novel in progress.

Nimona Big Bang Sign Ups Are Open!

Do you love the Nimona movie and/or graphic novel? Are you a writer who has always wanted fanart for a fic, or an artist looking for inspiration?

Sign up for the Nimona Big Bang and we will help find you a good match!

What's a Big Bang?

A Big Bang is a collaborative fandom event that results in an explosion of new fanwork. Writers are paired with artists, who create fanart for the new fanfic written for the Bang.

For the Nimona Big Bang, we're asking for a 5,000 word minimum for fanfics and two art pieces. Participants can take on up to two possible roles: writer, artist, beta reader (to help proofread draft fics), writer pinch hitter (in case a writer needs to drop out), or artist pinch hitter (in case an artist needs to drop out).

What's the schedule?

Sign ups for all roles opened on January 1, 2024. Writers need to sign up by March 1st, artists need to sign up by April 1st, and beta readers need to sign up by July 28th.

Writers need to provide fic summaries/200 word excerpts no later than April 20th so that artists can bid on them. Writers and artists will be paired by April 28th.

We will have several scheduled check-ins to make sure everyone's on track. If you feel like you need to drop out, please do so by July 15th so that we can try to find a replacement writer or artist for your partner.

Final fanfics and fanart will be revealed on September 14th.

We understand that people are busy! The schedule was designed to be relatively relaxed and low pressure.

I'm not sure if my writing or art is good enough.

We're not gatekeeping! Beginners are welcome.

We also will have beta readers to help proofread for grammar, spelling, and clarity.

I'm having trouble coming up with a fic idea.

We're happy to help! If needed, we can provide prompts, AU ideas, etc.

I've never written a fic that's 5,000 words before.

This is an excellent excuse to give it a try in a supportive community! If you're used to writing shorter scenes, connecting enough of them will help get you there. :) (The 5 + 1 fic format might be a good fit if you have length concerns, but there are many ways to write a fanfic.)

DARKEST STAR

Another Music Album Design, but this time commissioned by @/glamouruniverse (IG) so, I put the extra mile into making this gorgeous! To the point it even surprised me, and wow… took a whole month in contrast to Lockdown's half a month process 🔥. Still, was WORTH every careful design decision because… just look at that!!

A shame this time the photo session was a bit so-so because my amazing brain said "Let's use some cloudy backgrounds" and so the white light bounced A LOT and made it difficult to take clear-sharp shots tsk. But really: in hand looks beautiful. But I had fun! Especially when using those tiny golden doves (I sculpted them myself!) to accompany the compositions x3. I learned a ton with this too, and to be more careful next time I work with more of these in the future (for now, I'll wait until next year and prep a better comm sheet) because… it's quite taxing, not gonna lie haha ay.

Once more, thank you for the support to my client and anyone who enjoys my experimental works and wishes to see more of them 💖.

To the ones who know my work: what happened that I avoided putting a Depeche Mode song in the playlist?

Oh hohoho, I DID! But is a sort of Bonus Track, signaled in the Spine as "VIII"... and is the title of the whole album. I love that song so much:

"Stay as you are, the Darkest Star Shining for me majestically."

Devon’s the new girl running the Duck Pond game, who won’t talk to us. She doesn’t want us knowing she’s here, that she loves funnel cake and uses tampons. We think she’s sweet and wonder how she ended up at a funfair – something we never ask about ourselves. One by one, we help her out. Jeannette cleans off the slushy a child flung at her. Zara rubs her back whenever she pukes beer. Ro keeps telling her, don’t believe Avery from the Orbiter if he gushes about your starry eyes. We help because that’s what us girls do; we check each other’s payslips and hound at Jerry whenever it’s wrong; we guard bathroom stalls, share ibuprofen, check each other’s breasts for lumps.

We tell her about our childhood bedrooms: Ro who misses how moonlight sheened through her pink bed canopy even if it felt like sleeping in a fly trap, Jeanette who used to drink beer out of her dance trophies; Zara who carved blocky dinosaurs onto her vanity, Maxie who shared with her brother until one day they couldn’t and didn’t understand why. We tell her about the fathers who never looked at us or looked too much, the mothers who miss us or the idea of us girls, us dolly ribboned daughters

Only 40 hours left to back the Time and Time Again Kickstarter!

Time and Time Again is a webcomic I have been working on full-time with WEBTOON for the past few years... But I've decided to avoid a publisher for printing so the books can stay completely mine, and I can keep working on and with this IP for the rest of my life.

It's a risky, scary, and expensive (both time AND money!) decision, but the absolute outpour of support has really shown me that it's possible and worth it!

Right now I'm printing the first season of the comic, which is four complete self-contained graphic novels! I've only finished 3 right now, because I am writing and adding new scenes to the fourth to make it exactly what I originally envisioned, but life got in the way of!

I make the comic in a format that can't be printed, so I've spent MONTHS converting from one format to another. And the books look incredible! You honestly can't tell they were originally scroll format, and it makes for an entirely new reading experience.

The story follows Adam, a straight-laced vampire time agent, and Steve, a rambunctious half-vampire half-werewolf who is forced to time travel every full moon... Each book is an entirely new time period and location!

You can pick whichever book sounds most fun, or if you get all four then you get to see their developing relationship over the course of the series!

Heres a flip through of one of the books, to show a little bit of what you'll be getting! All of the books are so so so beautiful I'm so proud of them!

But if you want just one, here's a quick breakdown of each:

Book 1: Trouble on the High Seas

Finding themselves aboard a hostile pirate ship, Adam and Steve must find a way to work together... lest they be forced to walk the plank.

Book 2: Summer Camp Cowabummer

Volunteering as counselors at a summer camp facing closure, Adam and Steve must manage their campers and the mysterious problems at the camp.

Book 3: Sights Unseen

Dropped into the ocean off the coast of an allegedly haunted island, Adam and Steve find themselves part of a ghost hunting show!

Book 4: Vampires of London

Tired, stressed, and in the hospitality of a vampire hunter, Adam and Steve seek to uncover a murderer in Victorian London… without revealing themselves to the hunter they’re investigating with.

The kickstarter also has some fun add on items!

Romance style slip covers, so your book can slip into something a little more comfortable~

and... paper dolls!

All this to say, I am EXTREMELY proud of these books and have put so so so much time and effort into making them. Thank you to everyone for supporting me over the years and making all this possible, and thank you to everyone for the support on the kickstarter!
