design for Mimikyu - Trubbish form!
page 1 - studies of mimikyu and trubbish. top right are mimikyu studies from poketoons. thinking of different abilities mimikyu-trubform could have. felt they were a bit overpowered so~
page 2 - changed up the ability. might be too complex now. wanted to integrate trubbish poison typing into the ability. i forgot to keep the pokeball top partway through and i prefer it with the regular square handle anyway hehe.

A mimikyu who lost their pikachu rag and took refuge in a trashbag. Trubbish are very welcoming to these mimikyu, even assisting them in disguise upkeep and improvements.

Oh Lord here we go 🤣
Short note, this art is OLD, timestamp on Discord states I finished it around August 2021, I do have more recent art but this is the closest I have to an actual character sheet and I don't want to leave you hanging for a week whilst I force my Disney-addled brain to focus on Pokémon, so it'll have to do 🤣
Anyways this is JJ, she's been an OC of mine since at LEAST April 2021, so thankfully she predates ScarVio by a good margin so I can at least feel better about having an OC/Canon ship with the knowledge that I didn't specifically create an OC for the occasion 🤣
So JJ is originally from Wyndon in Galar and currently lives in my fanmade region Efharstos with her grandparents, working as a mechanic and the League’s Steel-type gym leader. Prior to this she used to be a top gymnast, specialising on the uneven bars, however was forced into retirement after losing her right arm in a motorcycle accident. Unlike Grusha though she probably didn't get too beat up over it, she'd probably tell you herself she didn't have many more pro years left anyway, but deep down she still wishes she'd had a natural retirement. And also, y’know, not lost an arm.
Either way, she probably meets Grusha at some kind of international gym tournament, I can see them honestly not getting along at first because both of them are huge assholes, but ultimately they just end up talking it out and ultimately bonding over their shared experiences and how it feels to be forced out of a sport you loved and dedicated so much time to, and how to bounce back and find a new thing to enjoy. Feel like they'd keep in touch after they have to go home afterwards.
More random stuff:
-She is indeed modelled off an old OC from my original original fanregion from back in 2016 (if you remember those years, why are you still following me lmao), I just changed the name, occupation, backstory, appearance and just about everything else lmao.
-Her missing arm and facial scar come from different, unrelated accidents (facial scar came from taking an accidental X-Scissor to the face from an opponent)
-She's currently trying to make laser tag dogfighting into a recognised sport

As the alt blog foretold, I am here, with Bovine Fakemon.
I introduce to you Barvine and Kudmoo, the garden cow Pokemon.
Plant/Ground Type
As you can see, I was inspired by Watusi for Barvine's horns, and the ears are somewhat inspired by the African Forest Buffalo.
I'd like to think these Pokemon are often used to farm berries, as their backs are made of nutrient rich soil. These examples show moss, vine, and flowers growing, but some can walk around with entire pumpkins on their back.
They do not produce milk, but their back crops are extremely healthy, and that is instead what they feed their calves. Adult Barvine eat grass, or the crops off close members of the herd. It's considered a bonding activity.
I hope you like them, Barley, you've genuinely rekindled a love for bovines that I haven't felt since I was a child being driven past local cattle, pointing at each one I saw^^

Flying / Fairy regional bird for the Hyber Region! ☘️
Robeen >> Hoopid >> Cladowl
Robeens are very common all over Hyber but Cladowls are a rare site. They are seen as mature and wise beyond their years - and very adept at understanding people. Young couples in the region sometimes seek out Cladowls to test their bond and a blessing from one can make or break a relationship. Those who have raised a young and inexperienced Robeen all the way to a Cladowl are considered impressive trainers not to be challenged lightly!
Robeen is a play on Robin and when you add ín (een) to the name of a young person as a term of endearment (ie the youngest Seán in the family would be Seánín). Robeens make excellent first Pokémon to add to your team as they’re loyal and love humans.
Hoopid’s name is probably easier to understand - just Hoot & Cupid mixed together. I like to think young Hoopids try to play matchmaker in local villages but still don’t really understand human relationships so are more of a nuisance that means well
Cladowl - I really liked the idea of the Claddagh rings inspiring this fakemon. The ring can have 3 meanings - love, loyalty, and friendship - so the best way to evolve your Robeen into the powerful Cladowl is to really nurture that bond.
The other inspiration for this Pokémon is the Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival. It’s an old school festival that was started to help awkward farmers from the country find a wife. But it grew into a big tourist event and even caters to LGBTQ+ relationships which I think is pretty cool. Maybe your character would have to visit the festival as part of the story? Who knows I’m rambling now 😅

Twst Pokémon au idea
Let me just say, chilling on a trip. Makes me think of a new big move. Like Gigantimax and the sparkly thing in Violet and Scarlett’s and the sun and moon bracelet. What if Bond Element Link/Elemental Bond
Here’s the idea. Imagine the later and mega evolution thing. Example.
Let’s say you’re doing a huge signature move, more specifically. The finishing move. Imagine how a trainer and Pokémon bond and share a connecting soul. Let’s use that as the boost. Say for fire.
Example: Jasir and Jasminko/Fire Gym Trainers with the elite fakemon Tigreous.
When these two sent out their companion, the bond connection will form more stronger. With the eyes bursting with the color that signify a Pokémon element. Orange/yellow/red mix is fire. So their eyes will burst bright with fire colors and Tigreous will form a blazing blues fire fur coat and their drill point turns into a sharpen sword blade and helmet something stronger. You have a lethal weapon and now I am done.

FUDDIMUDDI (Poison/Water)
Third bonded pokemon, this time the pokemon is a MUK who wanted to become clean
Before anyone says anything, yes, the shiny colors are barely noticeable, I have made many shiny pokemon before with very distinctive color differences from its regular forms, it was time I made one of those where the difference is barely noticeable, it was neccesary.
It is based on the Umibōzu, a Yokai whose name translates as "Sea Monk" and the chain is placed in its hand to resemble the praying beads that buddhist monks carry

In December someone asked me for more Fatinamon, my Fairymon rookie Fakemon, and I can’t find the ask any more. I want to 🌊cide. I plan to draw more for Fatinamon this year and I’m currently working on a stupid piece that will feature her too in a certain sense, but for now, whoever you are, I hope you can accept messy recycled sketches for some months ago I have never shared here.
It’s a bit of Fairyblitz ofc⚡️🍃, but Fairyblitz in their rookie forms because I love drawing my lil wind and thunder bugs. And it’s also a bit of my Junzumi fankids lmaoooo, because each of them has got their special relationship with their Digiparents (🤣?), ehm, or better, their parents’ Digimon. Fairymon loves perching on Kou’s head to give him pep talks about how to treat girls properly (because he is a disaster at that and she is the feminist icon of the household for sure along with Izumi), and Kou isn’t pleased ofc. Instead, when it comes to Ran, since she loves butterflies and likes being considered as a butterflies expert (she wishes)….It’s…Love at first sight with Fairymon’s rookie form. Now it’s Fairymon’s turn not to be pleased but there are times Ran and her can bond over music, because in my hc Fairymon eventually becomes (*returns) blind after a while and hearing, melodies, the whistles of the winds become the colours painting her dark life.
Bonus: Kou asking Blitzmon to help him with his maths homework because Kou might not have a Doraemon, but now has got a man of science at home. LOL. Hate myself 🤣.

Rebellious Rancor
Early in Urzavos' history, Slowpoke tail harvesting was commonplace. Over time, however, the temperament of the slowpoke in the region began to change, and drastically so. They became more alert, aware, and angry at their tails always being lopped off. Eventually, they evolved in such a way that their fatty tails fell off on their own shortly after birth.
Many Slowpoke formed bonds with local river 'Mons, becoming more powerful together.

More cat stuff (+ 1 dog)!
I felt like expanding the idea a little further. So this time we can welcome the rest of the color gang.
(For a easier search I tagged the last entry of this AU and this entry as pet au).
Some background information:
Oz lived on the streets, where he accidentally wandered into Damien's fathers' territory. Damien spotted him there and chased him out of the territory, which led to them rushing through half the city with neither of them quite knowing where they were when they stopped.
Oz was thankfully able to convince Damien that he would help him get back to his territory if he didn't hurt him in return.
Damien reluctantly agreed, and Oz oriented himself based on buildings and other prominent features that had caught his eye during their chase until they actually made it back in one piece.
From then on, Oz would often run into the horned feline when Damien was on a stroll outside of his territory, and over time the two bonded.
Oz had no permanent shelter for a long time. Most of the time he looked for some empty cardboard boxes in dark back alleys for a place to sleep.
Never really feeling safe, he often lived in the justified fear of being chased away by someone from his temporary shelter.
At least until the day he was found by the Color Gang.
It was a huge shock for him when a gigantic dog suddenly appeared in front of him.
Stiff with fear, he couldn't get his feet to move and instead tried to crouch down as small as he could. Maybe the big dog would overlook him?
As the beast grabbed his hackles, Oz was completely sure that his life had now come to an end as a dog's snack!
But instead, the strange dog carried him right up in front of the paws of two unfamiliar cats, who visibly eyed him with curiosity.
That day he made new friends in Vicky, Amira, and Brian, who decided on the same day to take Oz to their owner in the hopes that their owner would take him in.
Brian carried Oz to his owner, holding the little kitten by the scruff of his neck, while Amira and Vicky looked at their owner with begging faces like, "Look! Look what we found! Isn't he cute? Can we keep him? Please, please, please!"
Amira then whispered to Oz:
"Okay, Oz. Now it's your turn. Remember what Vicky taught you. You can do it, you've been practicing for it, after all."
Despite being rather anxious and having a lot of heart pounding, Oz does his best, looks up and tries to put on his cutest expression, while all he can manage is a tiny mousey mewl from all the pressure.
The owner never stood a chance against all these begging faces.
The mission was a complete success!
So Oz is taken in by the owner of his friends and from then on lives with them.
The Color Gangs Owner calls them Blue, Green, Red and Yellow.
Yellow for Oz since the little guy had a yellow ribbon entangled around his neck, when he was brought to him. He soon replaced it with a yellow collar.
Having a warm and most of all safe home is a whole new experience for Oz, which he fully enjoys.

Once Oz got used to Brian - and the fact that he wouldn't eat him - he started to appreciate the presence of the extremely friendly and calm dog.
Brian, on the other hand, isn't feeling bothered by Oz's clinginess.
On the contrary. He, too, has certainly taken a liking to their newest group member.
Napping time is always a good time.
Brian often makes a bit of a mess when he eats, as he can't stop some of the food from falling out of the gap in his muzzle.
The owner has therefore placed a mat under the food bowls to make it easier to sweep up the leftovers.
The old Amira design. I changed it, because it thought it looked to much like a fakemon.:'3
So I settled with this design instead.
Amira plays with Vicky and Oz from time to time, although she is not always in the mood to amuse them and is quicker to make it clear when she wants to be left alone.
She is often outside the house to hunt and allows Oz to accompany her every now and then if he shows interest.
When she gets angry, her fire burns even stronger and hotter. In that case it can happen that her fire, which otherwise isn't a threat, becomes dangerous.
For such emergencies, the owner has placed fire extinguishers in every room as well as sprinklers.
Oz really likes the warm and pretty looking little amber sparks and tries sometimes to catch one.
Vicky was immediately overjoyed to welcome her new family member. She is full of energy and outright curious. She invites Oz on every adventure, no matter how small it is. Vicky is definitely happy to have a playmate who has a similar size and can often be seen bouncing around with Oz.
Despite her peppy nature, she is very good at sensing when Oz needs a break and giving him time to rest.
She has been the one who has shown Oz everything in his new home. From the place with the food bowls to her favorite places to play and more.
When she is very excited, it sometimes happens that she gives out small electric shocks. In addition to that, her fur charges quickly when she walks on carpets or is petted for a while and then also gives out very light electric shocks again when touched.
She has a habit of licking at electrical outlets to give her body new energy.
Her owner had to give up trying to stop her from doing this if he doesn't want to replace chewed through wires every few days instead.

When nervous or frightened, Oz tends to sink into shadows to the shock of his new owner.
For Damien it was a big surprise to find out that his friend suddenly lives with a human as his house cat. And then also in the company of other animals!
Damien felt betrayed at the sight of the warmly lit living room and Oz's carefree playing when watching the smaller one through the window.
When Oz noticed him and jumped onto the windowsill to suddenly be shouted at by Damien before his friend turning away from him, Oz no longer understood the world.
Although Oz didn't have a chip for the cat flap at this point due to an upcoming visit to the vet. He still found a way out to follow Damien thanks to his shadow ability.
He had quite a bit of trouble following the angry cat, who no longer wanted anything to do with him.
Oz called desperately several times after Damien until the other finally stopped.
When Damien turned around furiously and was ready to make clear, even with claws if necessary, that Oz should leave him the hell alone, his anger fizzled out at Oz's trembling figure and tear-stained face.
In the end, Damien realized that he was the one who had overreacted. That he wasn't really angry that Oz had found a home for himself. But that he had simply been jealous to see him with others. And that his initial concern that something had happened to Oz when he had not found him in the usual places had turned to anger because he thought Oz had now replaced him and no longer needed him.
After talking things out, and as soon as Oz was finally officially allowed to leave the house as well, Damien felt much more at ease. Oz enjoys his walks and hang-outs with Damien and is also more than happy that there are no more misunderstandings between them.
Apart from that, Oz doesn't hide his affection for Damien and shows him at every possible opportunity how much he likes him.
Oz will bring Damien his favourite mouse toy as a present to show him his affection. It's very effective.
Damien brought Oz a death bird the next day. Oz wasn't so sure what to do with it but was happy none the less.
Damien doesn't know how to retract his claws. But he always goes sure to not hurt Oz. Oz on the other paw trusts Damien completely even if it makes him all flustered when Damien is being suddenly more cuddly with him. (But he also reeeeeally likes it. So Oz doesn't complain about it.)
Oz looking all dreamy at Damien, some nose nuzzling and having a stroll together through the town.
