Hey gentle reminder that body positivity also applies to people who are underweight. It applies to guys who look frail and to girls with flat chests and small hips. To people who are considered weird to be attracted to because of how skinny they are, whose partners are accused of being pedophiles because of their body type. To people who have visible ribcages. To people who constantly get told to eat more, or who get interrogated about having eating disorders. It actuall also applies to people with eating disorders, and to bodies that have been shaped by them.

I'm tired of seeing people who claim to be body positive reinforcing society's negative views about underweight body types as a way of trying to give themselves a leg up. Learn what society's beauty standards are before criticizing them. You are not woke for calling women with small boobs ugly.

This is a small detail, but I love that Amity seems so have gotten a little curvier as she’s grown to be a young woman? While Luz stayed lankier?

Like, maybe it’s just the pants but Amity’s hips in particular seem to have thickened out, while Luz remains lankier like I said. It’s a fantastic representation of different body types, and how our bodies change as we grow from being teenagers to young adults. I love that we get both with the two characters!

So like I've seen some companion body type headcanons and while I'm for more inclusive body representation (being a plus size person myself.) I'm not a big fan of people changing the way our companions look. (Idk probably a pet peeve of mine.)

I understand the Gale chubby Headcanons because wizard who stayed locked away for a year with his books and he likes to cook. (I personally love the headcanon where he uses magic to get his abs and is normally just a thin average build fella without it.) Of course I'm also fully supportive of the idea of Gale doing push ups in his tower, possibly with several large books stacked onto his back.

But Halsin....man lives outside and doesn't believe in technology and probably would never dare eat anything not all natural. This man hunts, forages and grows his own food in my mind. His abs make sense bruh. And just cause he likes honey doesn't mean he's shoveling gallons down his throat.

Astarion I kinda headcanon had abs pre-vampirism like due to some narcissistic vanity obsession so he likely worked out after his magistrate job just to look as beautiful as possible, which is one of the reasons Cazador chose to turn him. And because vampirism stops aging, it probably also keeps body changes from happening I suppose. Vampires do not need blood to survive, they are already dead, they need it because it'll drive them mad with hunger because of their curse, so it shouldn't cause physical changes to their bodies. Astarion having abs works with his whole most beautiful man in the entire world thing he's got going. It's important to his story that he's unnaturally pretty damnit.

Again I'm all for more body type rep but honestly I'd prefer if it was for Tav/Durge instead. I really don't need the companions to be thicker or thinner to be happy. Just let me make a Tav that looks like me damnit.

I get Chubby Adam I really do, and I am all for that content.

But also my Adam went from fit to skinny (in a bad way) to fit to chubby to BUILT. And not like chiseled built like he was depicted to have been in Eden but like, real life strong men.

Because idk I just really like that mental image. Also Angel making fun of Adam’s gut and then Adam picking him up with a single hand like he weighs naught but a grape is hilarious to me.

Hi I am bad at getting commissions. None of my commission sheets ever seem to get me anything, so I keep lowering the prices.
