Sensory deprivation training pt 5. Revisiting the jump rope. . Two things on my mind 1. I believe you can have beauty and brains. You gotta have some type of brain to build that type of body. . 2. I believe people are looking at the R.O.M and overlooking muscle activation. I believe as long as you active the muscle than the range of motion does not matter. Unless you are specifically training for a sport or hobby where it would be awesome to have that mobility. And it could be very useful to have full R.O.M when you are older. . What is mastery in movement? To me, it's when the muscles can work together. . Bridges my favourite. With the spine long, pull the feet to the glutes. Raise the hips let the knees go forward. Naturally the knee will be over the ankles with these cues. Squeeze the glutes and inner thighs. . If you lose the breath, then you're mostly straining trying to hold this. Keep grace through breathing. . Butterfly bridges. Press the feet into each other. Drag them back into glutes. Let the knees go out as the glutes are active. . Add weight if you want faster muscle fatigue. Keep the grace. For sets and reps , use a weight that you can consistently do with mind muscle connection. 3sets of 12reps with a 4 second hold at the top of each rep. . If you're just using bodyweight, and want an increase in intensity.
