Day 6: Two River squip

So Normal about this guy. the 'uip <3

i hc like half the bmc cast to be autistic but autistic rich is actually so important to me. autistic rich who can’t read the room and keeps joking around in serious situations because he can’t understand what the problem is; autistic rich with good intentions, but still being considered rude and abrasive and overly talkative because he doesn’t know when to stop; autistic rich with discipline issues and constantly being in trouble for talking back because he doesn’t understand that speaking monotonously is somehow considered rude; autistic rich with a very small range of feelings and emotions that constantly flip and having very low empathy compared to characters like christine or jeremy; autistic rich with bpd (!!!) because his autism went unnoticed and untreated as a child and it developed into something far worse due to his trauma (which is very common in people with both disorders!); autistic rich with an unconventional approach to romance because he was never taught how to “do it correctly”; autistic rich who thought he needed a squip to mask his autistic traits to make him more likable; autistic rich always trying so damn hard to fit in and still standing out because he simply can’t be like everyone else and not understanding why he can’t just be normal, but eventually owning his abrasiveness and his quirks and his weirdness post-squip and attempting to be the most genuine version of himself possible :-) he means the world to me. he tries his best to be a good boy but being autistic makes it hard to function sometimes and that’s totally okay! he has friends who are patient with him and they’re practically his family <3 he gets so much love and he grows more and more as a person every day

i know most people think michael would tell jeremy "mahal kita" and tell him he was just talking about how great of a friend he is, but i personally think he'd tell him "liit ng tite mo" and tell him that he was just saying that he's madly love with him

I think about the conversation I had with Will Rolland’s mother intermission of the last show of BMC Broadway a lot - other than her offering me a cigarette 3 times in 10 minutes we had a lovely conversation about how adult reviewers for papers and magazines etc can never understand how relatable characters can be to middle and high schoolers - the show doesn’t have to be the next Hamilton or Hadestown for a lot of young people to love it and for it to mean a lot to them

the squip looked like daniel radcliffe bc the actor looked like daniel radcliffe and during the halloween party he was wearing a Gryffindor scarf and tie and when he was drunk the tie was around his head

also squip was incredible sounded exactly like the cast recording

Guy that id kinda be into had a dating sim in the background and at the end when she said jake the screen shattered and there was a picture of jake but it was so funny

also the set was so cool they had the front stage then a tv screen with more stage behind it

Michael was so good because she made it her own character and as such was able to be on the same level as george salazar because she wasnt stuck behind him and his legendary beautiful stunning performance

jeremy was red michael was blue

Jeremy i cannot get enough of him it was incredible

the energy was approaching six the musical levels soooooo it was incredible

Day 8, 9, & 10: Squip OC, Non-human, Error

Somehow this guy happens to fit all three of these. Not intentional but works haha

Figured I'd drop some backstory about this guy since I haven't really talked about them and I don't think I'll ever finish their story.

So, this is Deactivation Incomplete, or DI for short, a character I developed pretty early into Squip Inc's creation, then scrapped them, then brought them back, then kinda left them behind.

Basically my thought process was a squip that couldn't control its emotions thanks to a malfunctioned deactivation making them just that bit more human. In an attempt to fix that issue they downloaded a virus and broke some more, resulting in two more copies of them. Oh also they look like Connor DBH.

Deactivation-Incomplete (with a dash this time), which is a previous backup copy that got restored, was originally a scrapped sideblog before I made DI into a separate blog. I thinkkk I originally intended them to be called by their unit number (2261) but honestly I don't remember. But for simplicity's sake I'll go with that. 2261 was meant to be the most stable version but their first attempt crashed, resulting in Deactivation Incomplete (no dash). Anyways, post-virus, they would restart albeit with none of their copy's memory, not realizing they had crashed and missed a couple months.

Deactivation Incomplete (or DI), is the main copy, but still technically the second version. Switching between 2261's appearance and their own they were in search of how they couldn't remember their user or time before deactivating. Post-virus, they would learn but be in distress as the virus + unfixed errors left them to realize the harm they caused their user.

Reactivation Complete (or RC), would then be the last-- a restoration of themself before being deactivated, albeit not perfect (much to their frustration). I think I generally wanted 2261 to seek help and make another copy of themself after seeing how DI became a mess post-virus to fix all of their buggy coding. Which created RC, and ehhhh, kind of worked but didn't really fix all of their collective problems.

But! I never got around to any post-virus stuff. Unfortunate, but figured I'd share. I suppose these guys will simply bicker in my head instead of over tumblr ask blogs I guess haha
