I decided to play around with some vector drawing software yesterday, sat down with the intention of just figuring out poses for something I wanted to eventually work on, and came back to reality three hours later with this thing finished! Gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with how it looks for three hours' worth of work.
(And I may have sort of, kind of, definitely put this together because I finished my I&S Book 1 podfic this week, and I've got like... 20-ish old podfics from before the time when I owned an actual microphone that I want to remake, and if I'm going to remake a bunch of podfics, I might as well have some accompanying art to go with them so that I can make video podfics and put them on youtube. I may have a problem called, "I'm incapable of not making extra work for myself".)

Zutara week - home
Katara woke up screaming, Zuko was beside her, worried sick about her king-sized night-terror.
Zuko: It's ok! I'm here! You're home!
Katara slowly regained awareness, her pulse was still fast. They held onto each other tightly and was able to catch her breath
It's been 10 years since harmonic convergence which arrived at the very end of the 100-year war. A decade since Vaatu (in a human form named Ozai) killed Katara's father, destroyed her necklace, destroyed Aang's connection to his past lives, and threw the world into a state of chaos that was even worse than the war itself. The trauma from such experiences just wouldn't let up.
Katara was able to slow her pulse and breathing but ended up bawling her eyes out.
Katara: (voice breaking and stuttering) How can one man hide such pure monstrous evil inside? How could that...thing have possibly been your father?
Zuko: I don't know. He fooled everyone. But he's gone now.
Katara: I'm so sorry for this.
Zuko: It's no problem at all. I used to have nightmares about how he exiled me from my old home.
Katara: What made them go away?
Zuko: When I eventually found a new home.
Katara: I don't think I'll ever be whole again but I'm grateful that you never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself.
Zuko: I'm glad I'm able to help.

As someone who doesn't like getting involved in ship wars I support both Kataang and Zutara. Katara and Zuko being two of my favourite characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and how the two were originally set to be lovers in one of the earlier plots, I find myself having a soft sport for Zutara. I couldn't settle for six images alone for the collage, so it ended up like this. Its a nice change and reminds me of the Owl House collages I've done of Dadrius and Flapjack.
Their ship is also known as Blutara and Katko.

Chapter 12
Fandom: Avatar the Last Airbender
Summary: Music night washes over Iroh. The crew’s attention on each other means no one notices their allegedly ill prince slipping over the side of the Wani and onto the dock.
Zuko, as The Blue Spirit, is leaving to meet another White Lotus Bud agent to exchange information on the Earth Armies for similar details on Fire Nation troops.
The White Lotus Buds are more successful than Iroh expected. Sometimes he thinks the war would end in days if they left the operatives in charge.
The White Lotus Buds were inspired by Zuko himself. It wasn’t difficult to connect The Blue Spirit’s earlier escapades with Zuko. Not once one realized there were connections to make.
Iroh does not know when the sneaking began, though he has his suspicions. Ten year old princes don’t go missing for days on end easily. And there’s the ambiguity surrounding Azulon’s death and Ursa’s sudden flight. When it started doesn’t truly matter when Zuko will not speak of it.
Shaking off his wandering curiosity, Iroh lets himself be drawn into the singing of an old sea shanty. It helps keep an old man awake, which he will need if he wants to be alert for his nephew’s return later that night.

But her mind won’t stop buzzing with thoughts. This town is just another place where the Fire Nation has irrevocably harmed bending. But the woman had only said taken, not killed.

I've been getting distracted and doodling practicing with some of my art programs recently, and I figured that I might as well play with some Blutara if I was already monkeying around with digital art. Worst case, I can put some more cover images up on my works on FFN.
