Every other week I come home horribly upset because someone at work keeps scolding me and I rant and rave about how I try to explain my process but she won’t listen, or I try and ask her for her process but she doesn’t understand, or I don’t get why she contradicts herself when she talks, or I stand there and just feel stupid while she nags me,

And I stop

And I go: “it’s the autism isn’t it”

And my partner, having heard this now a dozen times in three months, sighs, and tells me:

“YES”

I’m abt to be sooo mean on main rn. but I joined a local any ages any skill level performing arts group a few months ago and I was enjoying how nice it was to not know anyone in it and just get along w people and be bad at things together and just mess around and meet folks

Anyways this guy I was friends w in college moved here and apparently also has decided to join this group and I reaaaally don’t want to see him there. He’s not like mean or a bad person but he is extremely annoying and will do things like say “oh you don’t know X? It’s easy I can do it” with a totally straight face and think he’s being helpful. And like. I just want my totally anonymous space to exist and do arts stuff pleaseeeeee god darnit leave :(

Sorry I got really distracted and forgot abt tumblr I’m back now. Had a long week this past week

Spent all day thinkin abt yangchen and specifically how kavik tries her tea and almost explodes and it’s implied she drinks that caffeinated monster Red Bull 5 hour energy monstrosity every day to keep going. It’s self medication!! The shit she puts herself through constantly Must get to her so bad

Kuruk after her gets flack for being an alcoholic yet in his past yangchen did something similar to try and get by!!!

Thought that occurred to me recently

Clapping and cheering like I’m at a sporting event every time yangchen and kavik hold hands

Big fan of how atla constantly reminds us that canonically communing with previous avatars isn’t really talking to their entire sentient spirits it’s more impressions + memories and their actual conscious soul has gone on but instead we just ignore it and turn it into “every avatar can hang out in a spirit world pool party together”

To all five Kavik fans out there: what’s the deal w Kalyaan, his brother? Do you think he’s actually just a slimy POS, did he get really bad after he moved out, does he actually care, ? ?? He’s a fun character to mess w I think

Yangchen thought of the day is how she spends all two of her books toying with the idea of giving up. The ENTIRE time we know her she’s like a few inches from throwing in the towel completely. It comes after she fails or before a crisis or during one but each time she inevitably chooses to keep trying despite how much the world beats down on her and how large the risks are and how much it tortures her to try . Her position as avatar is a curse but gosh darn if she doesn’t bear it!
