My favourite poems are Annabel Lee (E.A.Poe) and Burnt Norton (T.S.Eliot) :) I really like the works of Christina Rossetti, Mary Oliver, Bolesław Leśmian, S.I. Witkiewicz and Leonard Cohen. And obviously all the wonderful Romantics! What’s your favourite poem? :)
I have to check out some of those, because I've never heard of them! & My all time favorite poem is probably When We Two Parted! It captures the pain of a split so well.

Ooh as a lover of classic literature I’m always interested in reading classics from other cultures too so I’m definitely interested in checking out The Doll!

What fictional character do you think you’re most like? Which one would you like to be?
Admittedly, when I first got this, I was struck dumb for a moment. I've had many over the years that I've borrowed from, loved, emulated, and coped besides, but when confronted with a question like this? I'm afraid it's probably a mixture of all of them ---- as much as I am myself, I'm a little bit of each character I've really loved, too, their good sides and their flaws (for those, I think, are the easiest to recognize in those other than ourselves). I won't go into detail too much ---- I've no desire to give anyone my diary ---- but here's a few that have stuck with me over the years: ---- Gansey, from Maggie Stiefvater's Raven Cycle books ---- Will Herondale, from Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices trilogy ---- one of my friends said I'm the Wylan van Eck of our friend group, from Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows duology ---- admittedly, I’m a bit of a Morse right now (something of a lone-ish person, with only a few strong connections), too --- thinking about ITV’s Endeavour
As for people I think I'd like to be, I'll stick to myself. Eventually, though, I'd hope to be as caring a parent/mentor to a child as Mo is for Meggie in "Inkheart," by Cornelia Funke. And I like to keep the wonder, curiosity, and good spirit of Anne Shirley and the Eleventh Doctor in my back pocket.

Overall I'm just a metalhead/goth who's really into academia... This might “shock” some people at first. I feel like people assume that academia = listening to lots of classical music and dressing and behaving in a certain way... maybe it's because of the aesthetics of it. But my point is: you can be into academia and study a lot and still be alternative and like whatever you like.
