honestly sol’s whole concept as a villain freaking RULES. it’s so funny there’s really no other villain like him, and it’s because he’s literally just some random, normal dude and it’s hilarious. like this dude sucked at everything, he couldn’t hunt or fight so he was only mentally a threat, but even then he was just in the right place at the right time and was like lmao this would be a sick prank >:) he probably had no idea wtf was happening either, he literally just happened to hear midnight say ‘yeah the sun is gonna be blocked for a bit’ and was like ‘becoming a false prophet? funniest shit i’ve ever seen’. (except it wasn’t a haha funny moment when he manipulated a vulnerable leader leave blackstar alone 😤)

the best part is that he doesn’t even really have a tragic villain origin story like darktail, he was just a lazy asshole and constantly came up with ‘plans’ that almost killed people so (after his latest brilliant plan to STEAL leafstar’s kits so he could ‘find’ them and be a hero) leafstar was like ‘yeah bro that’s not very cash money of you actually, can you gtfo?’ and he was like ‘you’ve humiliated me in front of the entire clan!! you’ve made a mockery of me by calling out my actions, how dare you?! but i’m your biggest fan leafstar, how could you treat a fan like this 😢💔’

also: absolute BANGER of a villain name. like shit man this dude who shows up talking about a solar eclipse is literally just named sol. that’s it, that’s his only thing. his only power was some random trivia fact he read in national geographic or something-
