When I first got into K-Pop, I just liked the beats and the choreography. I got more interested & became a fan of BIGBANG & BTS. I even considered myself an A.R.M.Y. After seeing all the problematic and racist things my favs did, I was upset. I saw fans trying to logically educate them & their oppalogist fans on why what they did was wrong & shouldn't do it, but they did it again. I'm becoming tired of K-Pop. It seems like only a few that actually care like Jay Park, Yongguk, Amber & Eric Nam.

Hey, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this blog. I'm soo glad that there's at least one person within the K-pop fandom who recognizes the racism within the K-pop industry.

And not just whenever an idol says the N-word and that shit gets ignored, but the appropriation, how they copy our hair, our "slang" and the total disregard of the black fans from idols and their fans alike. It's so frustrating to see that shit, especially when the idols in question get so infantilized and gated by their community to the point "oh, they didn't know better" becomes an excuse!

I'm not really a K-pop fan myself (I mostly just listen to BTS, I'm ARMY, and the sound of Kpop, in general, isn't for me), but as a mixed black person, I really like this blog. As you wish onto others, I hope you have a fantastic day, love 💜
