Jack has spotted you in amongst a group of cheering England fans, maintaining eye contact and smiling as he sips his drink ....... suddenly he declares out loud in his broad Brummie accent, "Don't look now lads ........ but I think I've just spotted my possible future missus .....", to which John and Harry immediately turn their heads, their eyes fixing on you in the same way that Jack's did ....... I’m rereading ‘The Princess Bride’ for the millionth time because I have an idea for an OFMD meta-fic but I’ve no idea if I can get it to work. I’m always reading fanfic too, and I read a lot of monster/supernatural romance on KU.
Last film:
See How They Run (2022)
I watched this on NYE (I know how to party 🎉) and it had clever moments but I didn’t rate it overall. I’d much rather watch Knives Out if I want a clever detective film.
Currently craving:
Sleep. My kids wake up so early and I am not a morning person. See also: time to myself, not being climbed on/touched constantly, not having to clean up wee and poop (potty training sucks 🤪)

Asami huffed out her frustration. For some reason, she just couldn't get to sleep.
With a tired groan, she flipped over onto her back and muttered "Babe. What time is it"?
"I Don't know, but you've been tossing and turning for hours" Korra grumbled.
"Sorry" Asami said sheepishly.
"It's fine" Korra reassured, as she sat up in bed. "Hey, do me a favour? Pass me my Trumpet real quick".
Confused, Asami passed it over.
Korra licked her lips and started to play.
Only a few seconds passed before they got a response.
"Who on earth is playing the Trumpet at 2 in the morning ! Some of us are trying to sleep here"! Yelled Tenzin from down the hall.
"Asami"? Korra chuckled.
"Yes Korra" ? Asami tried, fighting to keep a straight face.
"It's 2 am by the Tenzin clock".
Asami giggled. "Good night Korra".
"Good night Sami".

*Cooks bacon and eggs in the firebox*
Sodor drivers -
*Thomas's fireman carefully placed a kettle of popcorn in the firebox*
The driver rubbed his hands expectedly as the kernels slowly began to pop.
Meanwhile across the platform, you could vaguely hear the sound of hissing coming from Emily's cab.
"What do you want on the pancakes, sugar or lemon?" Asked her driver.
"Syrup" the fireman demanded, "You know I take syrup."
"You're all ridiculous, you know that right?" Laughed Toby's driver, as he carefully turned a small rotisserie chicken on a little spit.
