Your pet curled up to your side with the gift of baked goods custom to the celebration, red frosting caked into its fur. Whether it had gotten onto their plans of making you one of their own by mixing their blood into the batter, or an act of pure spite, the hellspawn had destroyed the cake made for your special day. How it managed to replace it so quickly was beyond anyone's understanding.

No matter. There were still plenty of other gifts your masters had to give. The entire main hall wall flooded with them. The love seat poses as your throne as they drop their offerings to you one by one, taking part in the most second important celebration in their court - bested only by the day they indulge in your flesh.

"Time is a cruel mistress who serves in your favor, my dear. You only grow more enchanting as the years pass. I pray that on this day of all days that you are enjoying yourself."

Your pet snarls as the vampire kisses your palm before wondering off. A few pats quickly calm the beast down. Up next is the count who hands you a simple brooch. The werewolf snarls.

"Please do take care of this for me. It may not seem like much, but it is my only material possession from my time as a mortal. You and it are treasures I'd rather not lose. A gift such as these may appear though I am asking for your hand, but the only way you'll know for certain is if you visit my study this evening."
