Been playing this game to fill spare time and figured I’d @ you since you like fish.

It’s called Splash and it’s by Runaway. Available on iOS and Android. Basically you ‘rehabilitate’ a reef by hatching, growing and releasing different species of fish which you unlock more of as you progress and there’s periodic events where you can get more different species and the more you establish a species the more little info pieces you unlock for it.

This same company also has games with similar gameplay dedicated to butterflies (Flutter), moths (Starlight) and more recently birds (Birdkind)

Swanno! That's just his name, don't ask about his deadname. Mute Swan and local depressed Indonesian stuck in the States since wing left wings family to live for wingself (he followed his parents who moved for work). Lives in a pretty spacious lakeside home given to them as a "parting gift" from their father. Their so tired every time.

Cygnus Silberg! My god my poor son boy. Whooper Swan and a runaway from Denmark. His family got into a divorce and got roped into a cult called Paradism and he had to flee with his brother. Now a captain for Swan Airlines and this close to be evicted from his apartment </3 Lives with Swanno on non-busy days. Paradism still has his head as bounty I think.

Axon Matthews! The world's tiredest guy ever. Black Swan and funny Canadian insomniac. Engineering major who moved to the States after graduating and after an ... unfortunate event involving his now-deceased partner. He's a co-pilot for Swan Airlines and always teamed with Cygnus. Light sleeper and has admit to sleeping on the job 70 times and counting. Now lives with Swanno and Cygnus.

Formes Sipayung! The real bapackcore. House Sparrow and your local divorced father of 2. Followed his wife to the States and immediately regrets it but is now also stuck </3 Was an alcoholic but is doing his best to be sober. Air Traffic Controller for the same airport Swan Air mainly operates in. Has a crush back in Indonesia but he's too embarrassed to admit it. Also lives with the Swan Trio after being kicked out of his home after the divorce.

As for relationships between the four of them:

The older I get the more I understand old people. I want to get a bird feeder, because I want to see more birds and also pay it forward to birdkind. Life can be a real grind sometimes but seeing a robin just going about its day, hopping in the grass that has suddenly turned all green and full of dandelions, it really makes you feel emotions, good ones even.

father is giving shuu iwamine in the new rei card. Rotund bird? Check. Glasses? Check. Lab coat? Check. Tie? Check. Knife? Check. No fear that God will punish him for his scientific crimes against human/birdkind? Check.

Habitat- Southern Africa

Size (Weight/Length)- 30 g; 14 cm

Diet- Insects; Seeds

Cool Facts- Living in the arid environment of Africa, tiny birds struggle to find enough water and shade to sustain themselves. Luckily, sociable weavers have come up with an ingenious solution. Living in large flocks, they build a mass, communal nest that is nearly twice as cool at the outside environment. This cool environment is host to all sorts of other birds, such as pygmy falcons and rose-faced lovebirds, to snakes like the cape cobra that live peacefully with the birds in exchange for a home. Individual entrances fill the space so parents can raise their offspring away from the clutter of the rest of the flock. Only breeding during rainy seasons, sociable weavers are often chick-free for the majority of their lives.

clearing up some bird misinformation

in case you haven't heard: highly pathogenic avian influenza is a problem right now. it is primarily affecting waterfowl, seabirds, domestic poultry, raptors, and scavenging birds. we've also seen a number of cases where it has affected mammals such as cats and dogs, bears, mink, and sea lions; that's worth keeping an eye on.

what we have not seen so far is any significant number of cases in songbirds. (well, corvids are technically passerines, so let me rephrase.) we haven't seen any outbreaks among common backyard feeder birds. unless you have domestic poultry in your backyard, you don't need to take down your bird feeders. we don't even think feeder birds are particularly likely to carry the virus and transmit it to your chickens; that recommendation was made simply because there have been a few isolated cases of avian flu in feeder birds, so its not impossible for transmission to occur. don't feed ducks (or corvids) right now, and if you want to be cautious and take down seed/suet/nectar feeders that's fine, but you're not actually committing a grave sin against all birdkind by leaving them up.

there are other infectious avian diseases out there, so still clean your feeders on a regular basis and keep an eye out for local alerts.

after yet another day of school, i decided to practice drawing Malloy as one of @swan-swanno's Birdkind. he's a fisherman in this universe, but is nice enough to give people a ride on the MS Blackbuck if it's a desperate situation... or if their job has to do with aquatic life and the like. Malloy is supposed to either be a Mallard or an Indian Runner Duck.
