While I am currently more a biMike truther, I do also love the concept as Mike and Will as two sides of the same coin put through different experiences, one exposed before he could even ask himself what he was and one watching this happen too him and shaking in the shadows behind a girlfriend, doing whatever he can to maintain whatever barely got him by to be targeted for everything but that like Will was.
What happens when you put the same base through different events is always such a fun thing to play with. There's the jokey saying about "fonts" but really, I love the messing with that sort of nature/nurture thing in plot. They are different people, of course, but there is also an argument to be made for simply asking the question, what would have been different if they roles were reversed. How would they have responded?

4. do you like your name? is there another name you think would fit you better?
i do like my name. my parents almost named me Colleen - which i don’t think fits, but then again i believe that we all grow to fit our names. i hated my last name as a little kid because no one would say it right (an issue that exists today too) and like when i started elementary school i straight up kept the spelling of it on a piece of paper in my pocket so i wouldnt mess up. now i love it and i think my name flows really well and if i get married i might not change it.
5. do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?
well i call myself a human being. and while my actions are important to me, thinking too much about what i do and what i couldve done gets me freaked out so instead i sit and just be. i’ll think calmly and exist
6. are you religious/spiritual?
im agnostic - raised Roman Catholic (but even then we werent strict about following it but i did do ccd and my sacraments so yeah). i want to believe that there is something but there just isnt enough solid evidence for me to be comfortable and if there is some god or force or something, i am a minuscule piece of the massive universe and that god wouldnt give a shit so why should they influence my decisions? i love religions tho. they have fascinating history and i love seeing all the similarites because it just shows how so many humans are all so similarly spiritual and through seeing those similarites it makes me feel more spiritual because i know my catholic upbringing shaped me as a person and i know that there has to be a deeper meaning behind the world’s religions being so connected
7. do you care about your ethnicity?
yes. im fifty shades of white, but the larger pieces of my background are the cultures that my family celebrate still today and they are what i identify as. im italian-irish-american with a polish last name and i will eat my cuisine and wear the Callahan family crest and hopefully make it to Avelino someday
8. what musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?
i was raised on billy joel and elton john so their music is built into me with such a powerful level of nostalgia that i will feel like im back in my house before we repainted it and replaced the furniture and im dancing like an idiot to crocodile rock at age 4 again. PP and M&S hit my emotions hard since i first heard them, but M&S’s Sigh No More album will forever equal driving to chicago because we played that album and only that album the. whole. time. except at night because thats when billy joel comes out
9. are you an artist?
at the most basic definition yes. i make art for fun and relaxation through music and writing and doodling and crafts

i just want to be content with my life when i die. i want to know that i loved and supported people the best i could. so i guess always put the family first (family being whoever i deem to be in that category). and don’t be an asshole.

not too hot or cold, like the temperature fall shouldve been. hiking a trail or mountain with changing leaves, watch some of my favorite shows, go to one of my favorite small restaurants.

i can’t believe 2017 is finally ending! it was a rough year for me… a lot of drama i my life offline but since i made this blog i’ve never been so happy and surrounded by amazing people that i can call it my friends.
so as this year comes to an end (god fucking bless) i decided to highlight some people i met this year, they are all amazing people that deserve your follow and your love. (also sit down and grab a snack because this is gonna be a long ass post)

Stonathan & “you know it’s okay to cry” requested by @bimikes
Steve’s heart was racing. He needed... well he didn’t really know what he neeeded. One of his old friends, some douchenugget with bad hair and even worse cologne had bumped into him outside the movie theater. And now Steve was crouched behind a dumpster in some random alley hoping to God that the blood didn’t stain his jacket again. That hadn’t gone over well with his mom, who had just about killed him when she found out he had been fighting. And not because she was worried about his safety, no the asshole was worried about being sued, even when her son was black and blue she still only cared about money. Steve sighed, shaking his head as he tried to focus on what he was going to do. He didn’t want to go home, Nancy wouldn’t take him, and Dustin’s house was too far. Still shaking, he rose slowly, deciding to test his luck with the one other person he trusted.
Steve’s knuckles ached as he knocked cautiously on the door to the byeler house. He was expecting Joyce or Will. Instead he was met by a puzzled Jonathan. Immediately he began to ramble. “Oh god I’m sorry I’ll go you don’t want to see me not after what I did...” but Jonathan just held up a hand, opening the door wider and ushering Steve inside. Jonathan led Steve to a chair in the kitchen, turning around to get a towel, before returning his attention to the battered boy before him. The two sat in silence, aside from the occasional gasps from Steve as Jonathan bandaged him up. It wasn’t until the job was done that Jonathan asked “What happened?”
“I- uh, I got in a fight. Some jerk from my old crowd, runs with Billy now. I ran into him, and it pissed him off. Thought I was starting a fight, dragged me outside and he, he...” Steve trailed off, tears welling up in his eyes, before he quickly wiped them away. “Sorry, I must look stupid sitting here crying because of one fight” Steve chuckled self-depricatingly, but Jonathan stopped him.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay to cry.”
Steve looked up at him, eyes watery, before leaning in gently, wrapping his arms around the blonde boy. Immediately he began to sob, but Jonathan’s comforting words and soothing hands quickly quieted him. Steve looked up, wary of the other’s reaction, before lightly brushing their lips together. Jonathan smiled, pulling Steve into a tighter embrace, before muttering something about killing the boy who did this to Steve.

69. I have these pets: Oof ok get ready. I have 7 cats, my cat is Lucy and I’ve had since he was born and I love him sm he sleeps with me and comes to bed when I call him it’s great. The other ones are Nadine, Norma, Mickey, Zelda, Lionel, and Mellie. All of them but Lionel are adopted or we caught by our house Bc there’s a fuck ton of feral cats running around and my moms a softie lol. I have 2 dogs. Tobi is some weird mutt we picked a few years ago that no one claimed and the other one is Eddie! He’s a 12 week old Malamute mix that we adopted a month ago after our other dog was put down. He’s so cute!!!! And then I have two horses. Dandi is my first horse. He’s 21 and the best horse ever. My other horse is Mac and let me tell u. He is something. I got him three years ago off the track. He had surgery like a year and a half ago and so we’ve had lots and lots and lots 😳 of ups and downs but he’s my best friend and I could’ve have asked for a better horse to love and learn from. I’ll shut up now lmao

i really am terrible at explaining ships (i just kinda feel it yknow?) but i shall do my best. (im not pulling up receipts or anything for this, just going off of my memory so yeah)
(also to any followers/mutuals that ship differently, power to you and love you lots)
i do ship klance because:
im a sucker for so many tropes and if you think rivals to lovers isnt one you are mistaken
i mean there is tension there cmon
that rivalry started pretty one-sided though so i want flashbacks. i wanna see what happened that made lance wanna do this. like wanting to beat someone at something isnt just to prove your the best; you also want to show off at them that youre the best
their teamwork has so much chemistry. they work so well together
they act like theyre opposites (which in a few areas they are) but tbh overall theyre very similar; they just have different ways that they react
there are only two characters that have effectively gotten keith to chill tf out: shiro and lance
i prefer broganes so thats all i’ll say about that
lance and keith bump heads a lot over petty stuff but combining lance’s cooler, more strategy-based style over keith’s hotheaded pursue-at-all-costs philosophy leads to keith learning about compromise and the fact that he isnt fighting alone.
“dont you dare walk out that door” “keith youre splitting up the team” “stab first and ask questions later” are all things that lance has shouted in frustration at keith and when the times when its ignored are usually when he winds up stuck alone
lance is very honest, which is why he is a great right hand man for keith. he tells him when its time to switch focus whether he likes it or not. he warns him when keith is about to make a risky, more selfish decision on a mission. he tells him to pick himself off and go fix his mistakes. he trusts keith with one of his biggest insecurities, and while i do agree that keith’s wording in response wasnt perfect, but he’s well known as the guy who is bad with finesse with words and its very clear that he is trying to tell lance that he is fine just the way he is.
and there’s just something about Red and Blue pairs
jeremy shada (lance’s va) is so pro klance its not even funny
called them “space ranger partners”
a ton of keith and lance’s banter has keith making That Face
steven yeun (keith’s va) says lines in That Tone which combined with the last point just equals flirting like come on
it’s official that lance will have a love interest. i think he’s gonna find them where he wasnt really looking before.
lance, honey, nobody talks that much about someone’s hair unless they really like it
im all about romantic teasing banter that is literally like 80% of my interaction with my boyfriend
the art and fanfics are so good omg 75% of my bookmarks on ao3 are probably klance
their relationship has grown very slowly and subtly but it’s there and if they dont become canon ill be fine with knowing that a close friendship and partnership will have resulted instead
