A little gift I did for @bigbigtruck in thanks for doing a quote for the back of the Dead City Omnibus! If you haven’t read Shot & Chaser, you should absolutely go do that (read it here!)
They even framed it!
Dead City books are HERE and up in the Topaz Comics shop!
The complete story of Dead City is here in a big and beautiful omnibus. The book is a remastered version of the finished webcomic with new lettering and bigger pages. Now with 19 extra pages of concept art, short comics, sketches and extra art.
Trapped in a hostile city full of danger, can two men overcome their differences and stay alive? How will their feelings develop when all they can rely on is each other?
A zombie apocalypse has hit Toronto and Mikael and JP are alone in the city and struggling to survive. While they’re searching for food and shelter they fine something else as well.
A heartwarming romance about two very different men learning to work together. As their time together grows so do their feelings in this slow-burn, slice-of-life comic that flips the common apocalypse story on its head.
Special thanks to @byelacey & @bigbigtruck for their wonderful quotes on the back of the book!
Some fanart of Tre and Olly because I really enjoyed @bigbigtruck's Shot and Chaser side comic!! :)) There's a few hours left to get a print edition, but digital is also available.
#still figuring out how to write them but the general vibe i wanna go for is 'lesbian sam & max'

I'm always inspired by a lot of mutuals and friends of mine, like @thesandlorde where we send art back and forth to get ideas or feedback. I've always been a big fan of @bigbigtruck's comics and how they draw emotional scenes.
I absolutely love @thegreatermassofdeath and StuckInAPit on Twitter for their nsfw works, I dream of drawing bodies and poses like these two do.
I've also been real inspired by mangakas a lot the last few years and I'm glad I've embraced that more lately. I'm constantly astounded by Ryoko Kui, Kamome Shirahama, and Takuto Kashiki's works and highly recommend reading their stuff for the artistry alone. I take some inspiration from Monkey Punch's manga too he has some really wild panels and compositions, but his stuff is not for the faint of heart.
What is your favorite thing to draw? And do you have any favorite tumblrs?
I like to tell stories, rather than just draw things. I especially like having characters in interesting situations rather than have to write a full length story.
My first webcomic was Synaptic Misfiring, and it was a slice of life comic. Even then, by, the third version of it, I started adding plot like Tony having memory loss. Which kinda ruin the vibe.
I have a cyberpunk and a superhero webcomic in the works, but honestly I want to just have them in mini adventures rather than a Big Epic Story. Or even just slice of life. Literally something like a cyberpunk version of a sitcom, or a superhero version of The Office.
Lately I’ve been drawing a lot of cyberpunk. Each year I do a cyberskull.
As far as Tumblrs I like? That’s a toughie. A lot of people fled back during the Great Censoring. I have my friends and acquaintances, but I mostly follow a few artists here and there.
I think I’ll mention some BIPOC, non-male and/or LGBTQIA+ artists I follow and adore (and are heavily influenced by.
