i think that sesame street should let me and my boyfriend pitch our characters to them
Bia (short for the scottish gaelic word biastag, which means bug) is a librarian who encourages kids to read and learn new words in other languages. He loses his glasses often and will mispronounce words when he's not wearing them (teaches kids it's okay to make mistakes)
Rodo (short for the russian word зимородок, pronounce zimorodok, which means kingfisher) is a distant relative of big bird. he's autistic and non-verbal, and uses sign language via the 3 prominent feathers on his wings. he flaps his wings often as a stim and is very enthusiastic about teaching with Bia.
Bia often talks "for" Rodo, translating his non-verbal cues to the audience and/or the other muppets. Rodo occasionally uses an AAC, and Bia teaches everyone that whatever Rodo chooses to use (whether it be an AAC, ASL, nonverbal stims/cues, or nothing at all) they still need to respect his boundaries and personhood.
together they teach kids about the vast knowledge of languages (learning a new word every week in a different language), non-verbal cues, autism (and how it can affect everyone differently), and respecting everyone regardless of their ability to communicate.

okay so i was by @ncityzen to do the bias tag and i love talking about taeil, and his video today literally made me lose my mind. Its actually embarrasing how in l*ve with him i am wtf!!
who is your bias? The moon himself, the cutest man alive, the greatest vocalist of our generation, mr moon taeil.
what made you notice him: okay so for the longest time I didn't really notice him a lot, because he's a quiet boy who doesn't command your attention like certain others, not naming names (taeyong). But he really snuck up on me and I thought he was really funny (especially that touch fancam that kinda became a meme) and then he looked like That™ in the chain mv and I was sold
what is your favorite thing about him: I love how he's so true to himself? Like, he was asked during a fansign what image he wanted to show and he was just like "hmnm... Myself?" I love his genuine love for music and how passionate he is about singing and performing. And I love how sometimes being himself just means being weird and chaotic
who would initiate skinship more: okay like have you seen taeil in vlives?? Like when he's just minding his own business, he would have a hand on jungwoos thigh or absentmindedly pat marks back or silently hold donghyucks hand and like 1. That's the cutest shit ever 2. God I wish that were me
who would hog the blankets more: taeil is a cold boi and I'm from the cold north (Denmark is not actually that cold but we like to pretend), so I'd say him
who would be more clingy: fjksdb taeil again. Like have you seen him??? (Also me?? Being deadly afraid of intimacy? It's more likely than you think)

which colors remind you of them: a pastel yellow, cause he's bright and cute and pale white like the moon shining on a clear evening, cause he's steady and reliable like the moon. (Wow look at that day and night duality!!!)
which season would you like to spend with them: winter!!! But somewhere actually cold with mountains. Then we could go snowboarding and have snowball fights and he could wear his cute big jacket and we'd drink hot chocolate on the balcony of our rented cottage and we'd cook dinner together and we would spend the evening in front of the fireplace where he would play the guitar and sing and I'd try to harmonize with him (it would sound horrible but hed just laugh at my more terrible ad-libs)
who would bake cookies and who would steal the batter: im a big fan of baking so I would be in charge of baking but we'd both end up eating half of the batter.
