I took a moment to reflect today. A ten year journey is done. My book is ready to go live on Tuesday and everything is finished...or is it? Now that one cycle is done, it's time for the next part of the journey. I have to sing out loud, ring every bell so that everyone knows about it. Speaking out loud and proud of the work I've done IS work, but it's the good kind. Connecting...

What a day!  What a good day!  I shouldn’t have judged the day by the start.  Tired, disheveled, and seeking coffee, I would have misjudged the day to be another uneventful day.  But alas, life happens at the most unexpected moments.  

I was blessed by a beautiful soul today.  Someone that is just passing through, and happened into the store.  A complete stranger, with a much different life path than I, but our stories somewhat similar.  I could have talked to her forever, and listened just as long.  I learned some things about myself today, and it was  due to letting down my guard and connecting with a stranger.  I needed that conversation!  Thank you Nini!  If you happen to see this post, be well friend.  I hope your life is amazing!  

The lesson here is connecting.  Make the time, take the initiative, be open, be honest, and laugh.  Hell, cry if that is what is needed.  Be raw, be real, and just be.  Turns out that dropping your guard every once in a while is worth it.
