Some beta Subcon stuff cuz I've been watching some of Shane Frosts animatics
Specifically my take on their designs because I think it'd be neat to differentiate them from their Canon counterparts a bit
First Snatcher!
I had a lot of fun specifically because the person who left them behind HAD PECKING ELF EARS YES so I made the fluff droop downwards and included the elf ears because it's my headcanon and I can do what I want
And Neth!
Neth was a lot of fun specifically because of the colors
I tried to take away anything that could hint to Snatcher (like purples, the hair swooping upwards, golden eyes, etc) and make the colors a lot more MoonJumper esc also darken the hair a bit because it looked better dark

here it is!
First thing i start with is the head since it is the leading part of his noodle movement.
The rest of the body comes after, just like a worm on a string :D
As far as the curves go he gets bendier further down while his torso stays mostly in place to differentiate where the torso ends.
I feel this gives him a slightly more "human" look.
One that reminds me of how-despite his cryptic appearance and villainous standing- that he likes to get down and act casual.
About his BEAuuutiful hair-
canon is the way to go. In a way im glad he got his own 3d model in the game, but i dont mind his 2d beta looks either.

Beta is the protagonist of Haunted Hats; an AU with a few characters swapping roles, the most significant being that Hat, Bow, Timmy, and Mu are now the Subcon ghosts. Despite their age, they are what's known as a Time Guardian. She tends to any rips and tears in the time and frequently travels between timelines and universes to solve problems or do little maintenance checks. With this job comes the duty to protect special Time Pieces that are not only sacred artifacts, but the fuel to she and her friend's spaceship. Beta is quite the introverted hermit, not often leaving their spaceship to do anything else but time related tasks... They're quite nervous when it comes to talking to people who aren't their roommate, and prefer to avoid interaction and certain locations. However, when she loses her Time Pieces on accident, she doesn't have a choice! They're pretty awkward and shy at times, but she shows a sillier personality when around friends. They only speak through sign language. While anxious, Beta can be pretty direct and blunt in the way she speaks to others. She's lacking in the social skills department. But when they need to be, they can be an efficient and intelligent opponent.

Makes me think that originally snatch (by snatch I mean moon, because in the beta snatch seems to know VERY well about her) wasn't supposed to know that vanny was STILL there, but in the game now this got proven wrong pretty easily.

Personally, I don't like moonjumper, as the prince at least, simply because I love the "good guy becomes evil" trope too much, BUT there's the fun headcanon (because it's not a theory, as I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that moon was the prince and snatch originally was just a shadow stealing your stuff) where moon only has the decayed body of the prince, in reality it's just a dweller. Which I like that, honestly lmao
Just wanted to say it because I couldn't find more but I'll look more into it
Also I was watching the like chapter 2 trailer from 2013 and snatcher wanting to keep the time piece because it's sparkly and looks magical oddly still fits. Like, the guy in canon only wants to keep the time pieces because they were in his property, y'know? Finder keepers. But him also wanting it because it's sparkly and that's it also fits.
I'm keeping it.
Also I enjoy a lot the third level, just snatcher stealing your key for no real reason just to annoy you and then running away as a clone of hat kid
