heartbreaking….. realized i gotta deal with a pretty serious plothole i made with my au

#ok so i got ivys designs done and i was hoping yo have her bio and such out by tonight so she can match star flower #but……… man i have to change her ENTIRE motivation for feeling envious of dovepaw #like shes still got a good excuse to get into the dark forest but its critical to me to have the sisters be torn apart by the clan at least #before this #this is bc of the rules in my au where all thr forbidden romance kits get powers. shes a forbidden romance kit so shes also gotta have power #powers #idk what those powers are rn tho but shes gotta have em #but if she has them then well….. lionblaze and jayfeather should have also reached out to her. theres no reason to isolate dove #and thats a huge part of the tragedy. that alllll these different factors are at play #razorverse

i finished the tommyknockers today and it was pretty good! a very readable stephen king novel.

i listen to Just King Things but dont usually read the books theyre talking about unless its one ive read before (and liked) OR its kind of short anyways. the tommyknockers was neither (my copy has 693 pages!) so i actually started listening to the episode when it was out like normal but then they just kept saying how good the tommyknockers was so i paused it like 15 minutes in with a vague ‘well i GUESS ill check this out sometime’

and then a month ago i found it in a basket in front of a shop (the owner was just selling old books) so i bought it. anyways yeah i did like this. im excited to get back to the Just King Things episode.

#before i heard them talk about this i think i mixed up tommyknockers with duddits (which i dont think is well liked generally #but also i tried reading it and didnt care for it at like. 15)#so that aside. i didnt know anything about this i dont think ive ever heard of it as like a Popular king novel #idk why its really one of the better ones for sure #its 'das monstrum' in german which actually sounds extremely vaguely familiar but i definitly never read it #before this #rosa rambles #a lot of stephen king that i actually enjoy is extremely beach literature to me #and so is this. i wish i had been at the beach with the sun out and not sick in bed today!

There’s nothing like the gut punch of walking by a stack of opened bills, then realizing you haven’t paid them and it’s now been 2 weeks since they were due.

My anxiety just went from ‘manageable’ to ‘full panic’ in 3 seconds.

Hey all, you know how internet searches suck now? When the results are awful, full-of-AI, death-of-the-internet levels of bad?

Start appending date constraints to your searches - "before:2023".

My results have gone from 90% AI bullshit to ~60% usable - which frankly at this point is a huge improvement.

I really think they need to start teaching kids in schools that most blind people can see a little bit, most deaf people can hear a little bit, and most wheelchair users can walk a little bit. And they are still disabled.
