decade accurate marauders era wardrobes - james potter

james' is a more stereotypical take on the seventies. i feel like he embodies the common characteristics of this period of fashion, with its exaggerated collars and pant legs, vibrant colors and patterns including paisley print.

paisley print has origins dating back to thousands of years ago from somewhere between modern-day iran and the india-pakistan border. along with indian music, fashion, and hinduism, it gained major popularity during late 60's/early 70's in us and european pop culture due to the quickly growing hippie and psychedelic movements.

although southern asian influence has held a place in european fashion, its mid 20th century renaissance was largely pioneered by the beatles (a band that i think james would've really liked).

indian!james is a popular headcanon so i feel especially inclined to include paisley and other patterns derived from india/southern asia that had influence on british pop fashion as a nod to this interpretation of him.

idk what it is about it but something about sherpa lined denim jackets and just denim in general scream james to me. such a shame he didn't get to live through the 80s god he would have loved double denim 💔

contrary to popular belief james fleamont potter did in fact strut, in platform shoes with chunky heels that alerted everybody on hogwarts grounds that he was approaching from miles away

in the 60s and 70s glasses shifted from being used solely for eyesight to fashion accessories. this change gave a rise to a variety of glasses styles such as different frame shapes, lens colors, and sizes. james is commonly depicted as wearing teashade/john lennon glasses but comically large square shaped aviator glasses are so much more uniquely 70s (and james coded) imo.

i'm not sure who said it first but red converse are also very james coded. he has a pair of beat up chuck 70s that he wears on early morning runs, sneaking around the castle, quidditch practice, etc etc

james was a male athlete in the 70s him leading quidditch practices in short shorts and a crop top might as well be written in canon idc‼️

"Come Home" — Deku:

I don't even know if this would be considered a fic?? Cuz honestly this was such a short little thing that I wrote in under like 15 minutes 😭 probably the shortest amount of time it's taken me to ever write literally anything. But it was after I watched S6 E136 and literally that night I had a dream where this whole scene was played out in my head. And it just felt so dramatic in the right ways and just raw emotion that I had to write it down. And it's STILL my most liked post on this entire blog😭 but honestly understandable bc sometimes I go back and read it and I'm just like "damn wait I wrote that????" lmfaoo

"Only for you, Toshi" — Shinsou:

Completely opposite from the last one, this is actually the longest thing I've ever written. (that's posted anyway, there's a few longer still in my drafts) I just feel like Shinsou doesn't get enough love but he definitely deserves it😭❤️ all my friends that read it said they really enjoyed it and I'm just really happy with how it came out after working on it for a couple weeks, and that not touching it for a few months and then coming back to it only to finish it in like 2 days lmao

"Attention" — Dabi:

Now this wouldn't be a post about my fics if I didn't include something for my absolute favorite character in the entire show🖤 this fic was very self indulgent bc I'm such a brat🤭 and I'm convinced that Dabi is the king of brat taming. Fun fact, the outfit I described is something I literally own in my closet 😂

"Secrets" — BakuDeku x reader [UNFINISHED]:

This is a multi-part series I'm co-writing with my bsf @haru-x-ren on a joint account we made. (@bunny-x-haru if you'd like to follow) it's currently still a work in progress with only a few parts released, but it is a continuation of a 2 part fic I wrote when I first started called "You're the Only Thing That Makes Sense" — Bakugo So I do recommend reading this one first before Secrets for context and background info. I feel like you can really see my growth in writing from then to now, cuz that was like literally the second thing I ever posted lol. And Haru was literally my biggest fan bc he's the one that got me into writing fanfic<3 so after he read it, he had this absolutely BRILLIANT idea (spoiler) to take the scene I wrote where bakugo and deku were caught fighting after school hours (similar to that scene from season....2? When Bakugo learned about OFA) and turn it into a BakuDeku love triangle and I was honestly obsessed with the idea

"For Your Eyes Only" — Dabi:

Another one for my fav<3 this one was for his birthday and is very nasty🤭 also with a little bit of fluff at the end bc I am indeed a hopeless romantic with no romance🥲 also, the cover photo is most definitely the reaction I was imagining when he walks into the room lmao

I know it's been a while since I've posted any writing and I am so sorry 😭 I guess I've just been in a little bit of a funk when it comes to my creativity lately. I mean I've got plenty, and I do mean PLENTY of ideas written down, but Im having a hard time executing them and turning them into something I can post. But I promise I'll get back to posting as soon as I can and I'm really sorry to everyone who has been waiting for stuff😭 I appreciate your patience❤️

sorry to bring drama to your anons but why is ikosburneraccount saying you’re a racist and she hates your writing? were you involved in some sort of discourse irt them and racism? I try to make sure all the ppl I follow are anti-racist so this is a little concerning 😅

I had no idea what this was referring to. I never followed that user so I didn't see their recent posts or know that they blocked me, hence why I was unknowingly reblogging their stuff. I haven't seen what they said about me and I won't--I'm not racist and won't have anyone force that narrative onto me. If this is referring to the Taylor Swift Matty Healy situation, I never supported that relationship. But that's the thing--I don't get involved with Taylor's relationships or her as a person. I like her music, but I don't personally know her or condone everything she does. The carbon emissions plane thing? That is not good. I don't agree with that. However I have been listening to Taylor's music since 2008, the Matty Healy situation was like two months ago. I'm not going to 'un-like' all that music in a short amount of time.

If you also take that line of reasoning--that we should reject anything related to anything morally wrong--we could not watch any movies or shows, because they almost all were made by a predator or involved child manipulation. It means we can't read this book series, because it has a relationship between an adult and a minor. Most of the tlc fans on tumblr--excluding myself--are minors. I don't like that this safe space is becoming volatile, especially for the ones who are Taylor Swift fans.

As for saying my writing is bad, well, that user just bookmarked my most recent fic as "the best kaider fic I've ever read" on ao3, though they've since removed that review.

I'm not on tumblr for drama. I'm here to post silly things about a book series. This isn't a Taylor Swift blog either. I reblogged occasional posts about her, and then I started getting asks about her and tlc. I never aggravated that user--I've hardly interacted with them to begin with--in fact, when they were wanting to write a fic similar to mine, I said go right ahead! But if people are trying to impose dramas on me that I never encouraged, I won't hesitate to protect myself and leave.

You see I get what you mean, but for me it's less to do with time and more to do with what they spent the time they had doing. I really don't understand why AT feels the need to shove Shermy and Beth into everything. Also I really don't understand why they thought the best way to make a grown ass 50-something year old man who survived the apocalypse and 1000 years of trauma learn that his relationship wasn't perfect was through a video game. And I really don't understand why the crew thought the best way to showcase this was to literally spell it out to the audience like we are toddlers (especially since F&C is supposed to be for an older audience apparently). I agree with the conclusion, but I really hate how it was executed.

@samhadjblog2 I completely agree with this! I like what the show was going for, again I completely agree with the conclusion it came to, just the way it got to said conclusion was incredebly underwhelming and frustrating for me T_T (also big agree on Simon's main flaw being his insecurities and how passive he was in his relationship with Betty, to a point where he didn't do enough to prevent her from hurting herself)

@wintercandle42 Honestly I'd die for a fic that goes into scenarios I've explored in my own Ice King analysis posts and while I rly appreciate the offer I generally only work with friends or creators I'm already fimilar with! Even so, I rarely collaborate in general T_T. I'm sorry, but ty for offering!

Yes!! I love indie animation (indie anything rly)

Obviously I'm fimilar with the big two (The Amazing Digital Circus Helluva Boss) however my favorite indie animated series are actually The Vampair Series, Threnody and ENA !!! Ofc, I also love watching indie short films or other such shorter animations on YouTube (I actually have a playlist of some of my favorite animations/animatics on YouTube if you wanna check that out)

Oh and I'm following the development of One of The Powerful! It's a series made by only one person, and those ones always impress me so hard. (if you are interested the creator recently made a series development blog on Tumblr! @oneofthepowerful)

Honestly, one-man-team type animated series are super cool to me. Sch Ribbit is another artist/animator who made their own series just out of their sheer passion, and he was always a huge inspiration to me growing up! (an example of stuff they'd make is their Jaden Unshaked series. even though it's scrapped and a bit old, I still find it super cool!!)

But yeah I love indie animation!

@the-rumbybagg-cake I don't play Minecraft and I never watched any Minecraft YouTubers! I also rarely watch gaming YouTubers in general, so nope!

Thank you for asking anon! I've def been doing better lately! Gonna be real, late fall/early winter wasnt the kindest to me (I was sick for a long while and then the seasonal depression hit where I wasn't going outside at all, and till relatively recently I was barely socializing and was just girlrotting in bed all day. I just felt like I needed to in that instance, mostly to make other ppl aware in the fandom that "hey if all it took for this person to blow up and start being transphobic and just generally cruel was a drawing of a GNC cishet couple, they'll likely be even worse if they encounter actual trans art or art made by trans ppl, probably block them if you wanna avoid them doing this to you". But yeah usually I avoid responding to ppl like this, I've been online for long enough to know it's not worth it (I've learned through trail and error XD I used to respond to everything when I was younger. Tbh I'm still learning to control my "I wanna respond to this mean person" impulses but I'm getting better I think!) In any case, I appriciate the advice ty!! ;w;

mike's monologue and love giving el the strength to fight back against vecna was a parallel to el gaining strength from remembering her mother's memory and love for her and defeating vecna at the lab scene. i am sorry but how can ppl watch that happen and say that the monologue was a lie and mike secretly has feelings for will is beyond me. bylers have the tendency to reach hard to prove their ship's existence with baseless ''parallels'', but when they see an actual and real parallel on the show they completely disregard it, it is just ridiculous in terms of following the narrative and storylines. also el being 'dependent' on mike is not a good way to read that narrative, the show portrays love and being dependent on it as something positive, not negative. el depending on her mother, and on mike is not a bad thing when the show portrays love as the strongest feeling that gives you strength. so no, i don't think el being dependent on mike was portrayed as a negative thing. she and others characters are portrayed as getting strength from love, will did in s2 and max did in s4 and el did it at the lab and then in s4 with mike giving strength to her.

Ok firstly, I agree that it was a parallel between her mother's love and her use of strong emotions in previous seasons to boost her powers. I'm more of a Byler doubter and that scene is ultimately what holds me back from believing in Byler because it's quite romantic and was the climax of the series, which feels odd if they're intending for Byler to happen. However, I still dislike it and believe they should be together even if I have my doubts that they will (I was thinking about not including this paragraph, but I would like to be honest with people following me however I'll still make pro Byler posts and theories!)

However, disclaimer aside, I still dislike the scene. Personally, I would've preferred Will and Johnathan cheering her on from a familial sense of love because it would've served the same purpose without as many issues. Eleven depending on her loved ones is not the issue; it's Mike needing her to depend on him. Maybe that's not what the writers intended, but he had a scene about how he thought their relationship was over because she didn't need him, was told she secretly did (when it was a really Will) and only then was able to tell her he loved her. It just makes him seem like he's only telling her so he can feel validation - this is an issue for me with Byler as well. Also, and you can disagree, the confession just felt a bit cheesy and cliché to me.

I'm aware this is only one opinion, but I just think the other ships were handled so well and Mlvn has been a bit of a let down to me, especially considering how much I love(d) them in earlier seasons. And I don't think I'm the only one; most people in my life who will never even have heard of Byler are no longer invested in their relationship as it seems cheesy, they're constantly fighting and are outshone by the other couples. For me, the difference is that I genuinely feel like Mike and Eleven could break up and stop loving each other during their fights whereas when Hopper and Joyce or Lucas and Max fight, it just feels like they love each other.

It's nice to hear your perspective and I hope this was balanced and made sense. Thanks for the ask, hope you can understand my pov more.

1. Whumperflies. Certain whumpy things give me butterflies in my stomach (not always sexual) and have since I was young.

2. Sadism. Certain whumpy things are hot to me. Like a more extreme version of irl D/s scenes that aren't necessarily realistic, safe, or possible.

3. The endurance aspect (for the whumpee) is super satisfying on multiple levels but this is also why I prefer in fiction for them to survive (even if they end up permanently maimed or mentally broken in some way)

5. Aesthetically enjoying soft guro, which a lot of whump art has similarities or crossover with.

4. For sick/fever whump I find it more cute and sweet. Like the caretaking aspect is very warm and cozy to me. It could be hot too if the whumpee is very cute and pathetic but really less so than other forms of whump.

5. The drama and psychological aspects especially in fiction (incl. Fanfic and ppl's OC series)

Sorry a total novel hopefully not too much of an overshare. I don't have one definitive answer because for me it depends on the genre of whump or specifics of scenarios or actions as to why I like it. I started writing this in tags but it was getting too long. I'm just sending on anon since I can't from that blog but you if you know who this it is totally fine lol. are u ever gonna write anything else that isn't melancholia or that other series? No offense but neither of them interest me at all and it seems like other ppl aren't interested either based on the notes.

espesially the self-insert one. Why post it for everyone when its about u and ur friends? I miss when u took more request. Hiding them behind a pay wall is just unreasonable.

I'm sorry you don't like either of those series, but I am not abandoning them. Melancholia is over half-way done, and It's something I care about and I know many of my other followers do too, even if the notes don't reflect it because people have lives outside of tumblr and aren't on super frequently. I also work full time, and as I have stated before, I have a life off of tumblr. I am not some machine that is just pumping out content that you specifically want. I'm a fucking person, even if I am just another 'user' to you.

I have also been very candid about WHY I introduced the paywall. Yes, this has reduced my requests- I am well aware of that. But part of what was burning me out was the pressure in getting SO MANY lengthy fic requests. This shit takes time, and writers should be compensated for their work if possible. As stated before, my fan work will always be free to read, but just like commissioning artists for personal works, writers deserve that grace too.

For 5 Sides of Human, I have been very blunt about this being a series for me and my friends that I want others to enjoy too, and some folks like reading self-insert stuff. I know the notes aren't high on that series, but that's not why I'm writing it. I started writing for me, and I am happy folks liked my work enough to follow.

It's people like you who engage in fandom that make writers want to stop writing. It's not all about the notes, even tho interactions are nice. It's about creating and sharing that with people. Even if one person is touched enough to like it- shouldn't that be enough?

Oh it definitely annoys me when fandom stays with one awful version of a character and never let that go, which is Jin's case. People calling him Kazuya 2.0, edgy and such. Funny bc so many people want Kazuya to be redeemed and not Jin. Not to mention how they trash some of the girls as well?? Like those things are what push me to stay in my corner. It is much more peaceful as you said!

OMG THAT ACTUALLY DRIVES ME THE MOST CRAZY EVERRRRR. But that's something I've DEFINITELY noticed!!! So many people wanna hate on Jin, say he NEEDS to die, and act like he's the WORST PERSON EVER because of ONE (1) GAME where Jin is CLEARLY EXTREMELY OUT OF CHARACTER, and his actions CONTRADICT his entire character in the previous games. Yet no one can acknowledge that. bUT THEN THEY GO - THEY GO AND TURN AROUND AND TRY TO BE LIKE "Kazuya is the TRUE protagonist!!! He should be redeemed, he doesn't deserve to die!!!!! 😭😭😭" because HE was the protagonist in ONE game that was from NEARLY 29 YEARS AGO. Like at least Jin had been the protagonist in 3 games, 4 counting TK8. And whilst his depiction is far from perfect in TK7, it's still a hella lot better than it was in TK6 - he still at least showed Remorse for some of his actions like the ol' Jin did, and promise to do good in the end.

OMG, and yeas!! The girls. I remember just recently on YT, somebody was saying Josie should be left out of TK8 because she's a "crybaby" and Tek is a SERIOUS GAME WITH NO ROOM FOR CRYBABIES. WHAT????? I'm sorry - but as much as I love the Tek series and potential. Uh. Tek may actually be the LEAST SERIOUS OF ALL FIGHTING GAMES. It's filled with juvenile humor, and then most characters have joke endings or are jokes themselves. I'd say only the Mishimas are saved from being jokes - but even Heihachi himself became a joke post TK4 and prior TK7 because they simply didn't know what else to do with the character I guess. BUT YEAH, JOSIE IS THE ONE WHO DOESN'T FIT IN BECAUSE SHE CRIES A LOT LMAOOO

But yeah! Even tho the idea of interacting with a larger group of people sounds fun, sadly it is filled with many bad, opinionated apples! So, it's better to just sit in a lil corner and have the fun ppl come to me like you and everyone else who follows & interacts with me here!

absolutely not a stupid question at all tho!! a lot of writers and other cc's will say a resounding "yes" and while i do think that people should reblog fics they like, if its initially like... super daunting to do so, i think its okay to like? getting used to tumblr can be kinda hard in the beginning, but i do highly recommend reblogging fics--even if you don't have any followers btw, the engagement still means a lot to ppl!! even if ppl don't put tags or anything, it says "i like this and i want other people to see it" since likes aren't public the way they are on other websites (or at all, if you turn them off)

please don't feel bad for not doing it since you're new!! literally i think most people don't understand how tumblr functions but that's pretty normal for joining a website haha

i'll explain things under the readmore and you can let me know in another ask if you have any questions!!

so full disclosure: i'm working on desktop and things are usually pretty similar on mobile, but there's a few differences that i can try to explain if you're on mobile!! but for reblogging:

at the bottom of a post, you'll see a couple things. they're in the same place pretty much for both desktop and mobile. if a post has been interacted with (through a reply (the little bubble icon), a reblog (the arrows), or liked (heart)), it'll have notes! you can nowadays see what other people write in their replies/reblogs by clicking on the notes key and looking through the different tabs there, but some people limit their replies (the bubble will be grayed out as a result) or turn off reblogs (reblog arrows will be grayed out).

excuse the extra buttons on mine: im on desktop and i have an extension called xkit active <3 (it allows me to block posts + do quick tags when i post fics)

as you can see: this post i made (which is dk uts skdfhds its the first thing i have thats not my pinned post) 48 notes, followed by a series of buttons. ignore the first two (they're from xkit), the rest are what you'll typically see on a post.

in order:

the single arrow can be used to share the post. either you an send it to other tumblrs (not all people have DMs open, and i'd honestly say ask before you DM someone if you don't know them well), or you can copy the link, share it on twitter/facebook, or do other things w the "more" button like send stuff via text n whatnot. its very possible to send things from a sideblog, if you ever have one and want to do it that way

on mobile your main blog will be at the top of the page with a little down arrow next to it: all you gotta do is click it and decide what blog you wanna send it from. on desktop:

you can see the bubble next to "your message here" isn't my icon since the message would be coming from my main. all you gotta do is click that little bubble (of your own icon) and you can send things from different blogs <3

anyway!!

the little speech bubble is the button for replies. tapping/clicking it will just open up the replies tab.

reblog on both desktop and mobile will open up the tab to reblog something. if you're on mobile, though, and wanna reblog something quickly, you can press and hold. i have sideblogs so i can't confirm if only having one blog will just auto-reblog it, but with sideblogs it'll pop up 2-3 of your recently used blogs (if you have more than 3).

on desktop:

this is what reblogs will look like! it's similar to posts, but the difference is just the blue "reblog" button compared to a blue "post" button. important distinction: the #tags is for tagging stuff (or, yknow, posting thoughts if you want lmao the tagging system on tumblr is kinda broken). if a post asks for something "in the tags" then you type in the tags as opposed to the main body <3

anyway, that lil heart outline is the like button <3 it just says that you like a post :) they don't get broadcast onto other people's feeds the way they do on other websites, but you can have them public or private through messing w settings

If it ain’t obvious I’ll read pretty much anything you write. I’m a sucker for your ao3, I’m rereading one fic or another daily atp.

Also cause I always see you and 🦡 talking about energy drinks (monster) I’ll add my little quirks about caffeine in general cause I keep being told I’m weird for it and need some kind of opinion from ppl who don’t know anything about me:

I have said for YEARS that I don’t want to try energy drinks because I have an addictive personality. I damn well knew that I’d be addicted to the caffeine “high” or sleep (depending on how my adhd took it).

Until February when my friend but redbull in a separate cup and had me try it. Summary is I liked it and immediately wanted to cry when she told me cause damnit I’ve been avoiding it!!!!

So now I have EXTREMELY strict rules about my redbull consumption (it’s the only source of caffeine other than Coca Cola I actually enjoy the taste of (no I don’t like coffee)). And refuse to try anything else because one is bad enough.

Okay yes… I am aching for human interaction. The interaction I’ve had with friends recently is not the greatest but in my defense! I’m still religious and so are they and we all have different values. As in - tumblr is like my side hoe that nobody knows about. I’m also bisexual which isn’t the most values thing in Christianity and so I get some weird looks when I rant about pretty woman. I CANT HELP IT THO WHY ARE YOU ALL SO GOOD LOOKING IT’S NOT FAIRRRRR. Same goes for a lot of other shit. Drinking and sex and smoking and sex and - the list goes on for days. IDK man just Lemme liveeee. Also trying to explain to people why you won’t go back t church is a pain. Like - idk? You watched my dad abuse my mom for YEARS, didn’t say anything and gossiped instead about how we were the ones not following him as the head of the household, the proceeded to hail him a hero because he stayed with my mom after she dealt with a fucking predator? Not thanks! I’d prefer never to speak to y’all again!

That all being said, the interaction I’ve had is limited to my fiancé and my beta reader who is overseas in the UK. My fiancé has friends and goes out with them and I sit watching movies with my parents while getting trashed. My sister is there too. I love her dearly. But she’s 17 and dual enrolled to graduate with her associates degree in a couple of months so she’s busy T_T

Basically - I’m alone with my thoughts majority of the time and it’s not a fun place to be.

I’m considering making this specific Ghouls Max fic into a mini series because there is so much shit here. Plus, background Landoscar and Charlos have me FERAL. The plot is actually a lot like my Ao3 fic in some ways but not? Like themes are similar ig. I fell in love though and might make a series of one shots that follow Max and Reader post the events of that fic 👀 (which I will have for you EVENTUALLY)

Redbull isn't my favorite unless it's sugar-free (don't ask why because I find it IRONIC). I feel you with the caffeine thing and finding it hard to pace. I don't have a crazy reaction to caffeine and usually get by with a monster in the morning. Coffee tastes gross unless it's one of those places that have their own coffee beans and stuff. Which - okay - I'm from Washington state, and we have SO MANY COFFE PLACES HERE. I have three that are a 20-minute walk from my house. Also, Starbucks sucks.

Saw your ask right after this by the way and laughed because I'm blind and the emojis looked similar, so I didn't even realize at first!

heyy sorry dunno if ur ok with ppl asking for advice, but ive been on the twitter mgs fandom for a little while (mostly as a watcher rather than participating other than liking, rting and occasionally commenting or posting some art) and after a while i realized (a bit too late) that quite a few people that i interacted with are aggressively anti and i dont know how to pull away from them now.

Some were mutuals, i stopped following most of them but they still follow me and im not sure if i should just ignore it or whatever. My main account is very clean when it comes to pro/anti discussion and NSFW in general, altho i do like/rt/discuss a lot of anime art and media that has some questionable content in it (like the monogatari series for example)

Anyway, im just a bit scared they might see these "cracks" and it gets to a point of agression/exclusion/doxxing etc and im a bit terrified of that. Sorry if this sounds dumb, but could i ask you what you experience with the mgs fandom is like on twitter? Have you ever been in a similar situation?

It's totally cool to ask for advice! I'm not sure how much help I'll be though.

I have a twitter that's mostly MGS-focused, but I've been building up defenses against the anti movement for a long time before that. I used to be mutuals with someone who was a really notorious asshole twitter anti, actually. I broke that when they started publicly slandering me, but before they could actually dox me, and they still followed me on side accounts for a couple years after that. I got very careful about vetting who I regularly interact with after that.

I got lucky dropping into MGS fandom, I've found a bunch of people who enjoy freaky stuff as much as I do. But I also had one of those friends get doxxed a while back over ship discourse that was spun as something much worse.

Personally, if I see a callout post and it looks fishy (only includes accusations of fic or art, etc), I will a lot of times block everyone that's retweeted or liked it. It's made me sad a couple of times to break mutuals, but I know I'm saving myself the pain later of potentially seeing them fall for it with me. This, when my friend got doxxed, ended up causing me to block like half of the twitter MGS fandom ngl.

Honestly, my secret to not accidentally making full on anti friends is that when I get into a new fandom, I look up their discourse and who antis say shouldn't be shipped together. Then I look and see who makes art/fic of those ships. If I don't like those ships specifically, I find people who ship both that and whatever I like. Usually I end up liking one or more of them anyways (solimiller...). Or I'll go through that fandom's fics with warnings on them and check out those authors' other works.

That's how I keep accidentally meeting a lot of people in fandom, it turns out. I read a fic, I look at the author's other works or their profile, it has a social media handle, or a discord link, or whatever else, next thing I know I'm talking to them and 5 more people they recommended about whatever freaky kink I found of theirs.

I do actually have a (mostly nsfw) discord link that I would share here, but given some of the weird interactions I've gotten tonight I'm gonna wait a couple days before I post it publicly. It's fandom neutral technically but a lot of us like our war boys (mgs/cod mostly). But uhhh if anybody sees this and wants in feel free to dm me/send an off-anon ask and I'll slip ya a link real quiet.

I warn people some of the heavier content that I regularly post as well, even though I don't explicitly use any discourse labels, but honestly the biggest thing is just pulling your interactions like weeds. People on the internet are, mostly, strangers. You don't like someone's vibes? You can block 'em. You see them being a dick to someone else and don't wanna risk them doing the same to you ? Definitely block. Someone makes posts you don't like and it keeps filling up the tags you frequent? You can block that!

Right. So. Apologies (not really) for the impromptu, long-ass hiatus yet again from writing, but as it turns out I've been extremely busy.

A lot of shit has happened, irl and the like, and aside from being busy remaking a costume, classes have also been a huge bitch.

Not to come on here and cry and whine about how hard it all is but really just to give a time estimate of when I'm assuming I'll be back to writing in my free time.

October is always an extremely busy month for me because Halloween is my favorite time of year and I will literally go to as many events as I physically can. So most of the month will be booked. I assume I'll be back in a writey mood after Halloween weekend passes, but whos really to say?

November and December aren't necessarily event-heavy, but I WILL be attending Midwest Furfest as The Oposstag and hopefully joining the dance competition too! (So a lot of practice, a lot of wear time and a lot less FREE TIME) (MWFF is at the end of November beginning of December so really until December starts will I be busy as hell.)

I'll probably post some stuff about the finished Oposstag costume on Glareandgrowl if you care to view him (I don't think ppl over there do much either), but as for writing timelines I THINK I'll be working on finishing the short/one-shot stuff first (ive got 2 I think?) and then getting on with Assassins. (Or Cigarettes tbh I really want to write more for both so we'll see which one yanks my interest the quickest)

This break has been really good for me if I'm honest, since I've been writing Assassins for like a year straight and haven't really given myself time to focus on other creative things like hands-on projects. I was worried when I stopped to focus on The Oposstag that I had lost interest in Dangan as a series, as well as its characters and my stories. But nope! Turns out I was just a lil burnt out and hated myself!

PSA over. Sorry its so long (not really), but just a quick update on stuff since every time I post a new cigarettes chapter I get at least one comment worried the story will be discontinued.

Not a lot of people follow this account, since its not glareandgrowl, but if you did, for some reason, read this whole thing, thanks. I appreciate YOU specifically.
