The sickening summer heat of Europe, your gardening hat placed on your head and the fall straps dangled on either of your head. The hand trowel layed on the ground next to you as your hands scooped the soil around the bottom of the plant. This was the 4 fourth flower you were planeting in this location, each time the planet would either disappear, get stepped on, or die and sometimes you would watch it happen. The large man was not watching where he was walking and stepping on the delicate flower. It was irritating, so irritating after this flower you weren’t going to plant another one here. If it went missing or died, you’ll dig it up and cover the hole.

And that's exactly what you did, the hole now covered, so if that large man was to step on it there would be no flower to kill. You stood up, grabbed your tools and went to the back of the manor. Your “To Do” list seemed to be getting smaller and smaller, as the only things left were the large hedges and a few more things done to the back yard, but this time, you’ll have company.

“How are you doing today!”

The french accent was waived thickly into the question, something you couldn’t get enough of. You tilted your head back, trying to see the bot's face past the brim of your sun hat.

“I'm gardening, can’t ask for anything else.”

A smile on your face as you as your hands go to rest on your hips, your gardening gloves causing your hands to sweat.

“The garden looks magnificent, do keep up the good work Ma chérie / Mon chéri.”

You laughed, looking down at the ground and kicking dirt around. Your french was spotty, only knowing the basics and the occasional pet names used between lovers. Although you have learned a lot more French with Hot Rod being around more often, that's bound to happen when your closest friend is a French space robot.

“Thank you Hot Rod.”

You bent down and snipped off one of the roses you were tending to, one being snipped won’t hurt anything, and handed it to him. His large digits gently take it from your hand.

“For you, Mon beau.”

You attempted to speak a little french back, but you already know you butchered it. He let out a light chuckle, as he pretended to smell the rose.

“Merci,”

He practically whispered it, optics staring into your small frame peaking up at him. You were lost, eyes tracing over every line of metal and dip in his face plating. The contrast between the bright orange plating, deep gray metals and the sometimes carbon fiber panels, and those bright cerulean rings. They were breathtaking, hell he was breathtaking, a whole other kind species, yet he stood here flirting with you, the silly gardener. Your thoughts and staring was broken when you heard someone yelling. Sir Edmund Burton, his little to no white hair, fancy suit and cane as he waved a hand while calling for Hot Rod.

“Ma moitié, I must get going! Please keep up your great work and do take care of yourself.”

He ran off, yelling back at Sir Burton about something. You simply smiled, watching as his large frame got smaller or disappeared. What a different kind of bot, but you wouldn’t change anything about him.

Bay!Hot Rod headcannons

My love for this mech is back and as strong as ever so here are some thoughts about him.

He loves to watch races, whether it is F1 (his favorite) or Nascar, or the local redbull cart down a hill. He just likes watching them all.

He begins to like his accent more if people compliment him for it. But if people are negative about his accent then he dislikes having it.

He's very skilled with a wide range of weapons, but he's also very good at hand to hand combat. Even against a larger bot he would be able to take them down in a fight.

He MUCH prefers hand car washes. He thinks the automatic brushes in car washes are too rough on his paint, and he hates the feeling of not being in control while being pulled along the track. He doesn't care if he has to drive miles to find one he will always go to a hand car wash.

He's very competitive. Whether it is a race, a game of chess or simply seeing who can throw the furthest ball, he will get very competitive about it and always wants to win.

He is incredibly loyal. He'll stand by his friends no matter what and will do almost anything for them.

He enjoys nature and pretty views, being in England surrounded by so much green and pretty foliage, he has started to find nature very appealing and calming to him. He often likes to sit in the fields and just admire the beauty.

Though he is not very fond of rain. Anytime it rains he wants to be inside or under shelter immediately.

He enjoys listening to music. He enjoys most genres, though there is something oddly calming about classical music. He thinks he got that from Cogman. He will often play his radio whether by himself or with others.

He is also an incredible dancer.

Literally when on break since I've been busy with college and work😅. Now I can get back into the swing of things ! Since I'm here , might as well make a new headcanons post ~♡

𝑶𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒔

First off. Cayde had a meeting with you at your local job. You and Cayde were close since he practically raised you along with Tessa . You were running late and Cayde was inside Optimus. Optimus had heard about you but never thought much about it.

He'd ask about you to Cayde and Cayde talked fondly of you so Optimus could sort of trust you. So could Cayde. Hence why he was gonna finally explain to you whats been going on for the past year.

Of course you are insanely confused when you get in the truck and Cayde starts being cryptic saying. “ Y/N. You know you can trust me right ? I would always tell you if somethings up.. ” -Cayde

You are dumbfounded at first while the silent drive fills the cabin with awkwardness. Then it hit you. “ Have you been looking for girls on tinder Cayde?! God I swear - ” - Y/N.

Facepalm from Cayde. Optimus almost laughed in his alt form but Cayde coughs before having to disprove your idiotic suspicion. He basically rushes an explanation of the autobots and decepticons and everything that has happened for the past year since you haven't really seen him.

Annnnnnnnndddd. Your not buying it. After the drive he tries explaining more but you brush it off basically just tired from work and chalking up his excuses to him being tired and or drunk.

Well.. until you see a group of vehicles strolling around and stopping with their headlights nearly blinding you (Kind of like the introduction the team from TF1) and with some loud noises and rumbling. You see them. Giant robots standing among you.

You Fucking FREAK. Definitely bout to be ready to throw some shit. Like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK CAYDE ! Cayde has to mostly calm you down as well as Optimus surprisingly trying as well explaining that they would never hurt you.

After a couple of minutes of losing your shit. Optimus introduced himself explain his motives and his following. Your still apprehensive but sort of star struck. Ootimus's voice and tone was totally different than his remorseful and sort of stern tone. It even surprised Cayde.

Optimus certainly finds you intriguing due to the stories Cayde told him Since you now know of thier existence they have to basically become your body guards in a sense. You don't mind it but you still have your worries. Mostly about the part with the decepticons.

He reassures that he would do anything to try and keep you and the other humans safe.

A couple of banter from the crew but with one Stern glance of Optimus they shut it.

You two might have a quite interesting partnership - in a good way.

𝑩𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒆

oh. This mute bot is EXCITED to meet you ! He was the first one to transform and show himself to you after optimus.

Kind of flustered and worried when you lost your cool about seeing them. But after he calms his excitement and lets his leader explain himself.

He flashes his sick moves which makes you smile and laugh a bit. He gladly would do it again to make you smile.

Bee is one of the first bots you considerably found yourself talking to.

When you found out he couldn't speak like the others and communicated through a radio, you though he was quite a special bot.

He's like you in a way. You to pair together so well. Bee thinks of you like his old partner Sam.

Oh. He can get protective of you. Mainly when Crosshairs or Hot Rod get a bit flirtatious or silly around you.

Casually offers a drive after a few hours of meeting which you don't really refuse. You had to admit. He was a dream ride of yours.

Its love at first sight in his eyes. He already finds himself crushing on you from day one. And he hopes that you stick around with him.

𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒔

God another Squishy thing?! Let's just say he wasn't amused.

Well until you basically cursed the hell out of Cayde. Now he's impressed

Now he's made it his mission to figure out what makes you tic.

Weirdly he can he either considerate or just a complete jerk. But a loveable one at that.

He finds himself always trying to be flirtatious with you. But when you do it back he gets completely flustered and curses you out (his love language according to drift)

Fights about the miniscule things with you. Like if you eat in his alt form and there's a crumb he's gonna scold you.

Never saw himself being friends with a human but he would definitely enjoy his company with you.

First meeting him he is pretty serious about not wanting you around a bit but it shifts to wanting to hang with you more.

You two are FUCKIN GREMLINS TOGETHER. yall annoy the hell out of optimus and cade at times. God you two are a mess

Starts out as not being protective of you to being ULTRA protective. Mans always worried about you but tries to play it off.

𝑯𝒐𝒕 𝑹𝒐𝒅

Omg him and Bumblebee fell HARD for you when Cade introduced you to the crew. Literally he couldn't stop gawking at you.

Already trying to one up everyone else with his flirtatious and suave energy.

Placed a bet with bee to see if you'd like him more.

First to offer you rides from work, school or whatever. (He figured you showing up in his alt form would make you popular or cool. And he wasn't wrong either.)

Immediately asks Optimus to assign him as your guardian. Let me tell you, he is smitten by you and in the best way possible.

Says small pet names in french

Arrogant little bastard. Can't take any hints when you need space.

Overall hes just wanting time with you but doesn't exactly understand the idea of patience is a virtue.

𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅

Another human huh. Cool, hope they useful type energy.

Hes pretty chill about it to be honest. Definitely hesitant at the idea but understand where Cade is coming from.

Would personally introduce himself to you if you find him a bit intimidated. Secretly he's a big softie and jokes terrible behind closed doors.

Once he finds out you are just as handy as Cade is hes all over you. Don't expect him.to leave you alone with random weapon scraps and ideas he has in his head.

Probably would take you out to test some grenades with him or something.

Pretty protective on first meet. Mostly since he knows he can keep you safe with his experience and skills in war.

If you don't like the sight of anything remotely similar to cigars and smoke. He would actually stop puffing his bullet in front of you out of respect.

Doesn't care much about your habits as long as you don't get your ass in trouble that is.

Not the type to drive you around since he's a big ass military vehicle and that would definitely cause alot of suspicions.

𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒕

Not bothered but skeptical of your arrival. Let's just say he isn't too fond of the idea of another human around

Probably would discuss his concerns to cade and optimus about the risks but would be told that it was mostly for the best.

He gives up and pretends you just another one of the bots.

Pretty distant at first since he's still weary of you.

But if you compliment him during training of something and use the right terminology of the kata forms and martial arts he will definitely open up to you.

He appreciates someone who can understand his dedication. As well as someone educated in the sacred arts of Japanese and Chinese traditions.

Offers meditation lessons after some time if you are willing to do so.

Silent but deadly type of protective.

Has fought with crosshairs one time.when he was picking on you.

Very tsundere at first but overall he knows you are a good person and wouldn't mind getting to learn more about you

The bot leaned into the window your desk sat in front of, perfectly situated so he could keep you company why you worked. Your fingers caught typing on your laptop, the seven tabs keeping you from talking with your dearly beloved french bot. You peeked up over the laptop, watching as his optics scanned the room for the 500th time over the years, you glanced back down at your screen but looking back up to see him now staring at you.

“You know not a single one of these pieces are as beautiful as you, mademoiselle/monsieur.”

You looked away, you had no words, all of a sudden the air felt hot. Your collared shirt was starting to get tight around your neck, your hands were starting to get sweaty, and the tab you were looking at wasn’t making any sense. You got up and turned the fan towards you, standing in front of it. Maybe it was just summer air, especially being in Europe, in an old ass castle, that doesn’t even have good ac.

“Quoi, fondant comme du chocolat, ma chérie.”

“What, melting like chocolate, My darling.”

The room was getting hotter, how on fucking earth was it doing that, your hand came up to the first few buttons on your shirt, Undoing them and then moving down to grab the fabric in a pinch and pulling away and then back again, in a attempt to cool your skin. Why did he decide today is the day, he knows exactly what he's doing after all. He made the connection, you melting to french and flirting. Sometimes he could be so evil.

His optics scanned you from the window, watching you do everything in your power to cool down, from fanning yourself with a magazine, to standing in front of the fan to also holding a fresh out of the fridge water bottle to the back of your neck. Even in the middle of a heat wave summer, and sweating your own personal pool, you still looked gorgeous to him.

You turned to go back to our desk, sitting down and pressing a few buttons to light it up. You couldn’t tell if you were hot because of the 98 degree weather or if you really were melting because of him, but either way you didn’t care. He was flirting with you, arm perched on the bottom window, leaned in and resting his helm back.

“Alright, Hot Rod, Tell me what happened again.”

Sitting up in your chair and looking through your tabs, You wanted him to continue the story, you know the one about the lady who hit him with a polo mallet. He lifted his head and nodded.

“Yes, Yes, I still forget you weren’t there.”

You nodded, typing on your computer. His story was detailed, pointing out exact moments he thought you’d enjoy. At some point he was so into this story he was waving his hands around in a frenzy explaining it. His jokes were funny, funny enough to stop you from typing and move a hand to facepalm while laughing. Your laugh, he loved it, If he could he would make you laugh all the time just to hear it. When you looked up from laughing you could see his optics staring at you, almost like a puppy and you had his treats, his treats being your laugh, your existence, your everything.

“Do that again, it’s quite cute, Mademoiselle/Monsieur.”

You melted, hands stopped typing as you got up from your desk. It’s getting hot again, extremely hot, too hot. You decided you’d do the only thing you know how, kiss him to shut up. You might die if he keeps that up, and you weren’t trying to do that. You walked over to him, placing your hand on his elbow. He watched intently before moving, the hand on his elbow lifted when you saw he was attempting to move. Fixing his posture before gently grabbing your hand with his servo and bringing it up to his lips for a kiss.

“I’ll tone it down Mademoiselle/Monsieur, can’t have you melting just yet.”

Transformers Bayverse Autobots x Human reader (Crush and Confession Headcanons Part 2)

"How would they react to themselves crushing on a human? And how would they confess?"

Characters: Bayverse Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Hound, Hot rod, Crosshairs.

A/N: I made a part 2 since I promised it💞, I'm so sorry that this took so long for me to do, my motivation was aft and I had a lot of schoolwork to do😭🤧.

And an anonymous person said that they would love to see more Bee x Reader content. I don't find their ideal bad, so I went along with it, and to the Anon who says that they want more Bee Content. Hope this won't disappoint I didn't know what continuity you wanted, so I went with Bayverse when Bumblebee didn't get back his voice yet, hope you'll understand, and as I said in my other Bay Autobots x Human Reader post, they might seem OOC because I haven't watched the movies for a long time. GIFs do not belong to me credits go to the original creators. (Some of them were found on Google)

This is the first part of this post if you are interested read:

Warnings: I suppose Potential Movie Spoilers from 1-5, Cursing, Mention of Violence/Fighting but nothing too detailed or Gorey, Death, and, Getting in Trouble, Some parts for others may look short-, Teasing/Flirting, Jealousy, Kissing, Miscommunication or Awkward Situations (On Hot Rod's Part), Injuries, Crack, Fluff, and, Angst.

Bumblebee;

•When the young scout finds himself gaining a crush on you, he's in denial, but at the same time, he feels willing to ask you out.

•But he'll mostly lean on the part where he refuses to acknowledge his feelings for you.

•The reason why is that, being betrayed and hunted down by humans, and having other disturbing events he doesn't want to remember, gave him slight trust issues.

•You might take might advantage of his status, You won't feel the same way, You might not want to hang out with him anymore, You might hurt him or worse, betray him and leave him to have experimented on by humans who hunt them down...

•But at the same time, Bumblebee feels willing to tell you, his crush on you. He wants to ask Optimus for advice but he knows that he's strict and will forbid it.

•And Primus, Bee doesn't want to receive Prime's disappointed look at him, it would feel horrible. He respected Optimus for years and he has done the same thing.

•However, keeping his feelings to himself won't help. You need to know how he feels, besides if Bee hides his crush well, it won't be a good thing to experience if he ever decides to pretend that he doesn't like you.

•Since he doesn't have his voice with him, Bumblebee would use sweet lovesongs to tell you how he feels. Are you surprised by this? Well, not really, you've seen how a bit obvious his intentions are of courting you.

•Eitherways you're happy with him, and you accept his confession. Making the young bot very happy. If he was in his Mass Displacement or Holoform, he'd carry you and do a little spin out of joy.

•While still being careful to not hurt you. Spending time together is just having fun. For example, if a favorite song of both of yours plays, you both dance cheerfully. And if he's using Holoform or Mass Displacement he'd hold you, he'd say how much he loves you and swears to protect you with all his life. <3

Sideswipe;

•To be honest, he's a flirt or a tease, he's a bit of a player just for fun, but with no intentions to hurt someone However, when he gains feelings for someone and their genuine? Sideswipe gets flustered.

•He just gives me those vibes where the cocky character says they'd make their love interest fall for them first, but instead they're the ones who fall for their love interest first-

•Sideswipe still haves his cocky attitude with him, but really when he's with you, it slightly becomes clear how he likes you-

•This mech had so many attempts to ask you out, but it just ends up with him being too shy and flustered to tell you. One time, he got very angry with himself that he tried to demolish the wall-🤦‍♀️

•And you know that it didn't end well for him...Sideswipe dented his pede pretty badly which caused him to have an injury where he couldn't walk properly. He also came up with some scrappy excuse to Ratchet for his actions, but the medic just sighed, already knowing what was going on.

•But, let's just say after some time he finally has the courage to ask you out. While he admits his feelings for you, the bot had a bit of Energon-blush on his faceplates, and he slightly stutters his words.

•Are you shocked? Just like Bumblebee, you're not very surprised. After seeing his attempts to try to tell you his feelings, it looked quite clear of Sideswipe's intentions.

•When you accept his confession, he's more than surprised, he wasn't expecting you to look back, but is very glad that you didn't reject him! Sideswipe would feel embarrassed if you did decline his offer.

•On how you spend time together, is sometimes getting into silly shenanigans. You guys would get into trouble together, something like badly cropped photos of Lennox around the base, and it's almost everywhere-

•Of course, you both are going to be scolded for pranking around the area, you two are in trouble together. But hey, it's better to be with someone you love when you do silly things. <3 (Hopefully Lennox doesn't get too upset from seeing unflattering pictures of him :/)

Hound:

•Um, now this is unexpected to find out...Hound won't be all shy and flustered or be in so much denial of his emotions for you. He'd just be a bit taken back of himself when he finds out about his crush on you.

•He'd still be the same mech around you though, you don't see him being nervous or flustered when he talks to you. But, he does feel a warm feeling in his spark when you laugh at his jokes.

•Hound is not one for adoring or complimenting one's looks, but seeing you smile or being happy makes him feel secure that you're safe from harm and danger. Also, he's always the first one to save you from getting hurt when he fights his enemies.

•One day, Izabella noticed how protective he is over you. So when she gets the chance to talk to him, she asks Hound.

•"Hey Hound!" She calls out to him, the Green mech then looks at the young girl and says "Oh hey kid, anything ya need?" Hound talks "No not really, but I do have a question!" Izabella answers "Then, go ahead I guess." "Alright, so do you have a crush on (Name)?"

•When Izabella asks him that question, his optics slightly widen. He'd look away for a while then he'd grumble in reply, "Well, maybe." Izabella just then happily encourages him to tell his feelings for you, after hearing Hound's statement.

•As time passes, Hound tells you his confession. He admits he's not the best sparkmate out there for you but is willing to be with you. Are you taken back by this? Hell yeah, you are-

•He was able to keep his composure with you, and now he tells you that he wants to ask you out. You're more than stunned- And when you accept his offer, he'd just let out a small chuckle of relief and would just gently carry you on his servo to hold you, with your permission.

•I'd say how you two spend time together is maybe training to defend yourself or teaching you how to use some weapons or how to create them. On the other hand, you'd just talk to each other.

•While he'd just pulling a few jokes randomly- But you're still happy to chat together, being in company together already makes you both grateful. <3

Hot Rod;

•Oh, now he is a flustered mess. As much as he tries to be a suave smooth-talking gentlemech, he miserably fails in doing so.

•When he realizes that he gained romantic feelings for you, his playful personality somehow falters. In summary, he becomes such a dork.

•I know that he makes up good pick-up lines to try and woo you, but they end up seeming awkward and strange, and his words would be fumbled in the end.

•Poor Hot Rod is not getting help from anyone. Cogman has a good day, he will just watch things and how they'll play out, he sees this as prime entertainment for himself. Sir Burton is no better, he also sees this as amusement at what's happening to Hot Rod, he'd even hold back and hide his giggles when he sees him try to impress you, but ends up failing.

•Hot Rod starts to act a little out of character, he seems almost shy to even talk to you. And when you ask a simple "Are you ok?" Or "Is everything alright?"

•Ha, he's a bit flustered about how you're concerned for him, he'll even answer nervously, which is only going to make things more complicated for the both of you.

•Once he gets the opportunity to tell you his feelings, he'll try to be all relaxed and be a gentlemech. But when he confesses, his words end up being stuttered.

•You weren't very stunned to find that out, seeing him act all, nervous and how he tries to get with you, made things clear.

•He feels relieved after you accept his confession, he was all pent-up and stressed with his feelings, so it was hard for him to tell you, but thank Primus it's already done.

•You and Hot Rod would spend time together on fancy dates. When he uses his holoform or Mass Displacement, he'll act like a gentleman. He'd be the type to be the one who'd open the door and treat you like a princess, just for you. Or just have a peaceful picnic date, he'd even get you your favorite flowers as a gift. <3

Crosshairs;

•Oh my goodness, we have another tsundere- He's in great denial. He'd hide his feelings with his normal cocky act especially when he's with you.

•He pretends to not care about you. But Primus he really does. Crosshairs would even be jealous if you're being a bit too close with another mech beside him. Yep, he's this jealous.

•Since he pretends to not care, he'd just scoff and would be "Whatever." but deep inside he feels jealousy. Especially if you're with Bumblebee or Drift.

•Crosshairs would be the type to show off his skills towards you to get your attention on him while being a flirt.

•He's not a fan of humans, and won't be the best guardian for a human if he was assigned to protect one. However, when it comes to you, he's so protective. It even looks like he has special treatment only for you- Which kinda causes Cade to be annoyed since we saw how he acts on TF4-.

•But again, since he's not accepting the fact that he loves you. The other Autobots would have to be the ones to confess their feelings for you. Another way how he'll confess his crush on you himself is when you face a situation where you almost die.

•And at that moment he'd tell you right there how he likes no, loves you. He then promises to be stronger to protect you. Despite his teasing nature, he can be sweet.

•You're very astounded by his confession and how at times he can be, thoughtful. But you feel contented with his confession and you accept. It caused Crosshairs to be shocked but he'd hide it by with flirting you and being a teasing mech. But really, he feels good that you like him as well.

•When you both have free time together, Crosshairs would drive you around while he lets you play your favorite music. Or you two would annoy Drift- It's a thing you've both done since you were friends.

•He doesn't admit but, he loves it when you guys cuddle. Though, he'd be so clingy and would give you lots of kisses. And no he does not give a single scrap if he has to do something, this mech not leaving you. What an afthole, but he's yours. <3

I saw your hotrod headcanons and I loved it! ❤️ could I get more bayverse hotrod headcanons but this time headcanons on what it would be like for him to have a crush on someon and asking them out?

My favorite bot! I will always happily write for Hot Rod.

-He instantly knows he has a crush because he starts acting differently around them.

-He gets super excited when he hears their name and just wants to talk about them. He wants to spend all his time around them and gets disappointed when they have to be separate.

-He'll find excuses to be around his crush. Even if it's something stupid like, 'oh I just needed to stand here.'

-He's a flirty bot normally. But when he gets a crush it's amped up 1000%. Basically every sentence he says to his crush is some sort of flirtation.

-However if his crush were to flirt back with him he'd get super flustered. He'd be in complete awe that they actually flirted with him, that he'd just melt out of love and happiness. It takes him a second to come back even stronger and flirt even harder, hoping his crush goes with it.

-His crush flirting with him makes his doorwings flutter.

-If he can't be around his crush he gets bored. He just thinks of them all the time and only wants to be with them. He starts pacing around, unsure what to do with himself when apart from them.

-Absolutely dotes on them. Surprising them with gifts, flowers, food (most of it he got Cogmans help to collect) 'I just saw this and thought of you' Is his excuse as to why he is giving it to them.

-Since he is pretty quick to realize his crush he is also pretty quick to confess. He waits to make sure he actually has feelings, and it's not a passing crush. But if it is staying around forever then he confesses.

-He goes ALL OUT just to get a girlfriend/boyfriend, imagine how big he'd go asking them to marry him. (P.s. it's pretty huge)

-Hot Rod is very romantic but he wants to be even MORE romantic. He researches the most romantic things ever, and does everything.

-He makes a rose petal path that leads to an open space full of candles. Romantic music playing as his crush walks towards him. Then he'll make all the candles blow out and show his crush the stars above them. Then he'll start the confession.

-He tells his crush how he can't stop thinking about them. He says how his crush makes him feel so happy, how he never wants to leave their side. He says how his crush is so important to him, and that he loves them. Would they do the honor of becoming his?

-If they say yes he is indescribably happy. He just takes them into his arms and kisses them deeply and passionately. He holds onto them for such a long time, not wanting to let go, just wanting to enjoy their touch and their presence.
