this is literally why the aliens road trip is so compelling to me. get bullied idiot. like. trying to imagine a reality where a tender, sensitive and emotionally cathartic conversation about the rosquez sitch happens between marc and/or vale with pedrenzo. and failing! it would be bullying. maybe the only people on earth that could get away with bullying rosquez besides people they are physically related to. an elite club.

like... okay so maybe jorge dani and marc attend an event together. have some drinks after, get a little tipsy. this would be after ALL IN aired and jorge is asking marc about it like. you cleared the air with regards to sepang do you feel better. is it actually over (he KNOWS they were fuckign.) and yeah hesbeing a little sly and marc is miserable. but like. marc is still reaffirming that hes open to reconciling. shoulders up eyebrows together no fake smile here telling dani and jorge that vale wont forgive HIM. its is HIS fault his problem, if he just came to marc, marc would-- and he breaks off and takes a BIG sip of his drink. makes an excuse to flee to the bathroom. and pedrenzo (on marc's side in this particular divorce but also marc marquez competition victims in their own right) are like. okay. NOT our responsibility to fix this whatsoever we both agree. change the subject when marc gets back with tired red eyes and put the topic to bed.

so they try not to think about it for a bit BUTTT they famously have figured their shit out wrt to each other (and have raw delusional confidence that this expertise could translate to rosquez) so they cant quite let it go. maybe they get bored bc their lives are less busy and high risk so they decide to fix rosquez instead of like. some equally dangerous activity like learning to basejump. maybe dani sees a throwback vid of baby marc posted to the motogp instagram beaming at vale on the podium and is like jorge babe. we have to try. and then they trap them into some sort of roadtrip or group ski vacation nightmare scenario until vale and marc revolt

What's your favorite part of your new ordon Mario and why?

Haha, its all good! My favourite part of the gigantic Ordon map that I had created, is actually two areas.

The first one being he White Bar Reefs of the Rito Isles.

It's based on the Great Barrier Reefs here in Australia and it was one of the more satisfying parts to drawing with a blob of colour and then using the Lasso tool on Photoshop to carve out the swishing lines. And I was just so happy with the layering.

The second one is the gorge area of the Ilia River. Particularly Ludofalls and the nearby winding road (It's actually called the "Gorge Passage").

That small area is actually based on a dream I once had when I first became obsessed with the Legend of Zelda.

In a short summary, I was Link in that dream. I was walking along a winding road that was carved through the mountain rocks with Wolfie at sunset. Arrived at a riverside stable/inn and timeskip to morning. Wolfie was gone and went looking for him when I saw a Zora guard standing next to the raging river. I went up to the Zora and text bubble appeared explaining about the mighty waterfall downstream. Something about being a "test of courage" of sorts. And that's when a quest marker appeared right above the Zora's head.

And as soon as I finished the conversation with the Zora... I immediately sprinted down along the raging river and as soon as I saw the edge of the cliff, I JUMPED and dived down into the air before deploying my Paraglider. And I remember how cinematically beautiful the gigantic waterfalls were. It was like a combination of Niagra Falls and Angel Falls. Like a gigantic white water curtain with mist around me and the view of a vast green plain beyond.

The quest was basejumping between floating rock platforms alongside the waterfall before landing on a platform in front of a Shrine at the waterfall's base. A lot more things happened in that dream but that's the inspiration of Ludofalls and the Gorge Passage road.

RID15 related thoughts because me and @sweetheart-weeb-33 were going back and forth about the decepticons who were aboard the Alchemor, and we started thinking about the prisoners who were supposedly on the Alchemor who we don't know about (no names, no designs, no suggested appearances) because on the tfwiki there's a list of names but supposedly Fixit said there were a few hundred more. Now, on one hand this is the perfect way to introduce ocs into the mix. But also it makes you wonder...

How many of the prisoners do you think were never found? Or, well, weren't found alive? After all from what I can see the Alchemor went through a pretty messy crash. It's cracked in half pretty good just like the Harbinger in TFP, and the halves are pretty far apart so we see the pods all scattered about. We see stasis pods that were damaged in the crash. It's surprisingly horrible and I think if the show had followed closer to the themes of TFP or hell even darker such (fr we saw my reaction to S4 and how casually dark it was compared to like. Season one. I had strong thoughts on season four) we would've seen some seriously harsh things.

I mean we do know at least one character dies in the show, there's the Fallen who disintegrated on screen. I remember a while ago when I first watched the show as a kid I wholeheartedly thought that Starscream just stayed in the coma forever and straight up never woke up. At first everyone thought Optimus was dead because he damn basejumped into the well of Allspark in a whole self sacrificial display and that tends to kill people Carlllll, but eventually we see that he either survived or came back to the land of the living. In season three (or well damn 2½), Starscream suggests that the three predacons were offlined.

So what's to say that some of the prisoners from the Alchemor died?

Whether it be from the initial impact, damage to the stasis pod, not being able to find enough energon and starving, getting in a fatal scrap with other decepticons from the ship, environmental hazards, and hell we can never discount the idea that the us government is capable and willing to take down a con or for there to be MECH adjacent organizations still kicking around. From what I see very few mecha know about the crash and the us gov. probably doesn't or they would've tried to come over and investigate. Plus, we know full well Steeljaw is willing to cut a bitch so I'm putting serious credence on the friendly fire idea.

“What kind of new?” he asks, dropping the Architectural Digest magazine he’s holding into his lap and craning his neck to kiss the top of TK’s head.

“Not sure,” TK mumbles, nuzzling himself closer and dropping a hand onto Carlos’ thigh, rubbing it gently. “Like, a hobby or something.”

“A hobby is pretty broad, babe,” Carlos murmurs, using a hand to stroke TK’s hair back from his forehead. “Are we talking crocheting? Basejumping? Actually, with your track record please don’t get into any extreme sports—”

“I’ve been coma-free for a whole year now,” TK protests, tapping his fingers gently on Carlos' leg. “But I take your point. Maybe I should volunteer or something,” he says. “I just need something to take my mind off of work sometimes.”

“You know that I’m right here,” Carlos prompts, kissing his fiancé's forehead again. “I’m pretty good at being a distraction.”

I said it one time and I say it many times more. Watching the BTS interview for Fallout and finding out that Cavill begged Cruise to let him do the basejump, but Cruise told him: “Nope, you have hardly any training. Thats too risky!” adds so much more to the finale scene.

because when you watch the base jump scene, the only face you see is Toms. You never see Cavill. Sure you see SOMEBODY jumping, but the whole time you do not see his face, apart from the moment where he collapses and this was later done in a green room. Apart from that, no Cavill during a jump.
