I've started a tradition of making group cosplays on Halloween and this year made Gingham Barbie (for myself), Weird Barbie (for my friend) (and Cowgirl Barbie but unfortunately that friend couldn't make it tonight).

Earring Magic Ken was an absolute blast to wear to the movie last night.

It was so fun, and the kids wanted pictures with Barbie and I, and there was a wonderful surprise within the movie that ya boi was not expecting to happen and screeched when it did of pure glee.

Gonna be wearing this again to an event tomorrow night so I'll try and get some more pictures and whatnot then 💜

In the end I needed to wait 2 days for some *actual* daylight - but here's Barbie, ready for the Icelandic winter!

(Don't worry about my legs, I have fleece tights on!)

Aside from working on commissions, I have been toiling away on this vintage pattern coat.

So a little explanation: as you probably know by now, I run a party princess company called @prinsessur.is . This year we added Barbie to our lineup, however Iceland isn't exactly favourable to a summer dress most of the year.

So after trawling (and I mean TRAWLING) the internet for a coat pattern that had just the right Jackie Kennedy look (very 60s inspired like a lot of the costume design in the Barbie movie) I eventually came across this one on Etsy.

Of course, being a vintage pattern, some tweaking was needed. The collar was very... Interesting. But it fit me on the first try which is pretty dang impressive.
