So Dream is a child of the End, created by Exdee because he wanted to try his hand at creating something other than mobs. And from the first moment, he is smitten with his little one. And yes in my AU Exdee is a good dad, he tries his very best considering being mostly void. Dream is a very happy baby - and very cuddly too, for a while Exdee was unable to work without having his hands full. But he doesn't mind. When Dream disappears as a child - Exdee is absolutely devastated. (Lady Death tries her best to console him but to no avail - and many years later, when she has Wilbur, does she understand.)

So. context. I was a barn owl in some previous life. And sometimes i get these vivid memories or dreams of my life then and they make me so so so so sad.

You guys know baby dreams, right? the ones where you wake up crying because your child is just . non existent? well I have those with my young that I used to have. my fluffly little chicks screeching day and night to be fed, their fluffy little coats puffed up as they stuck their head out of the tree i had nested in. that gorgeous oak tree. I loved them more than anything in the world, every time I had a bunch. I think I had young two times in my life before i died. And it makes me cry sometimes that they're just not there anymore. gone. i dont even know what happened to them after my death. I miss my babies.
