hey! i'm writing a fic and i was just wondering - is there any fandom consensus to what the ship name was for azura and hecate?
context: i'm planning to do a time loop au for a fic and i'm currently writing out the initial encounter with the owl fam, and in that encounter, eda and co. discover luz's hecate x azura drawings annotated in her copy of the azura novel.
this might seem TOTALLY out of the blue, but it's also critical information. thank you for your time.
That sounds like a cool fic! I'd love to read it once you're done writing.
As for the ship name... I've got no idea. I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone give a ship name to Azura and Hecate. They have names that are so hard to smoosh together. Azecate? Hezura? Neither really sounds right.

For King:

Oh, Raine would know the best ways to prank Eda from when they were younger and teach them to King.
King finally getting to play catch with a parent is always great.
I think Raine would like listening to Luz info dump about Azura. Especially if the Hecate x Azura ship parallels their and Eda's relationship too.
I can see Raine comforting Luz about nightmares. They probably can relate with how they were possessed multiple times.
Raine being a teacher content is always good too. Them teaching Luz bard magic is an underrated concept and should be used more.
The lullabies might fall under the nightmare comfort umbrella, but it could be a good alternative if nightmare comfort isn't selected.
Flying races would be good bonding for all three of them, King would just have to be careful not to get sick like last time. LOL.
Raine just playing games with their stepkids is also underrated. Maybe they know a thing or two about playing Hexes Hold Em.

oh totally, Luz writes Azura fanfics based off her relationships and shenanigans in the demon realm (so yeah, lots of Azura x Hecate hehe), and Hunter can see right through it every time

Not an ask ans not here to gerate hate but there an artist going around who made an art where it parody Lunter.
The thing was "lets use Azura who is Luz and make, in the fanart, a post where the fans say Azura x prince is better than Azura x Hecate" and Luz and Amity see the picture and laugh.
Not here to bring hate. But I can't let go of this art(the person maybe did as a joke and nothing else) bc is so odd. If your ship id canon what it matter non-canon ships?
Also I do think Lunter could have happened and we could have gay Amity too. Both wouldn't exclude the other.
I know what you mean. Didn't like that piece of art either. I do feel like they were poking fun at us. That artist has done it several times probably. The best thing you can do is ignore them.
I honestly belive that too. But Dana is the main creator. What she says goes. At least as much as she can when having to deal with disney. I feel like for the show they either accidentally made lunter. Or the writer wanted lunter and Dana wanted lumity. Honestly who knows?

At one point, Eda had teased Luz about her love of Good Witch Azura, quipping that Azura had to be her mom with how often she bragged about her. When Luz took everyone to see the human world, she definitely had not expected her mother to refer to Lilith as Hecate, nor Lilith to call her Azura. Somehow, rather than learning Vee had taken her place, rather than winding up in the Boiling Isles in the first place, rather than even the incident with the giraffes, this might have been the most bizarre thing that had ever happened to Luz...
