So here we go. More proof of gay JK. Our lovely Kookie did awesome on that performance video and I have been enjoying watching and rewatching. So this is something I picked up on. 😂🤭 Once again I'm so sorry 🙈

When watching for the umpteenth time i noticed JK checking out Mr. Beard thrice here. When I tell you I was shooketh 😳 I can't see hot beard's ass very well but JK sure can 😂😂

When I showed this to my friends, one of them told me about black guy here. JK checks him out too when he sings every hour. So she was like; its part of the choreo Shaz stop it! And I was like okay. 🙌🏽

But as i continued to watch the video, guess what happened? Mr. Beard is now on JK's other side when it happens again!! Here he checks out hot beard guy when he sings Tuesday and then does again at the end when he sings seven days a week.

Now hear me out 🙌🏽 I'm not insinuating anything. Y'all now I'm deep in this Jikook shit. I'm just saying JK was checking out hot beard dancer. Which is no bd of course he's just looking. People joke around and call JK Jiminsexual because while we have seen Jimin thirst over other people here and there, we have never seen JK do this. Ever. Even other members like RM, Suga, Jhope and V have all been caught in 4k. But all these years and JK we have nothing. The only person we see JK checking out is Jimin. So forgive me if I was fascinated. 😂😂 Especially coz it kept fucking happening. I mean look at this!! When he runs back his eyes are on beard dancer's ass as he sings night after night 🤭🤭 Lastly, there is a part where JK shakes his dancers hands. Now watch him shake the other dancer's hand first, (i think its Brian) then watch him shake beard's hand and then smile back at him.

Why was it only Mr. Beard that got a smile? 😡 I don't think i like Mr. Beard and I hope he gets fired 😂😂😂🤣 Guys, I just thought this was really funny is all. And fascinating if I'm being honest because this isn't the norm for JK. Or maybe I'm just a nut job that need to go to bed.. who knows? 😆

I just realised something. If Jimin watches this and sees what I see then JK will definitely be in trouble. Now, they've been at this xes thing for 9 years so JK should be a pro by now, right? So maybe the times when he's limping is because he gets punished for misbehaving and so Jimin goes a bit harder than usual which prevents JK from walking properly?

I was looking at tags and i think you're the first person I've seen to actually suggest maybe Eddie's cultural heritage and upbringing accounts for his sassiness and expressive face and body language, so thank you for that. When everyone just says "it's because he's gay!" (which is pure fanon so far) it feels to me like it's kind of erasing his Latino-ness and personality 🫤

I’m going to approach this with a reality based type of answer, anon, as well as a care free type/wholesome answer. Apologies for the essay. I gave an intro/general context around the subject, my reality type answer (based on canon) and what I know as latino and my genuine answer of what I hope to see ( I call it wholesome answer). And just as a heads up, I disagree with you thinking buddies are trying to “erase” Eddie’s Latino-ness, but more like people tend to just mention/talk about things they know about, everything is answered under the cut and I hope it makes sense sense :)

Majority of the users here are perhaps of mainly European decent and/or just African/Asian only background (I don’t want to say white/black/brown, as it’s just colours that can fit within minority communities as well and not someone’s ethnicity) and majority of tumblr users are not emerged into Latino (Hispanic) culture as much as the next person. Although, there’s no feature in tumblr that could prove my statement regarding everyone’s ethnicity, I’m just speculating as a rule of thumb and things I’ve picked up along the way. The top 5 countries that use tumblr are not even in LATAM, nor Hispanic, and yes, although a majority of users are from the US, and yes there’s plenty of Latino (Hispanics) from there…they’re still minorities. So as rule of thumb, in tumblr? we’re minorities here as well.

Context: as a Latin@, born and raised in Latin America, I would say that Latino men are very affectionate with each other and when do these things majority of the times it means absolutely…nothing regarding their sexual orientation.

Tbh I’d compare Latino men to frat boys, majority love fútbol, hugging excessively, fake kiss, touching, don’t know what personal space is, and being the ultimate smart ass (depending on which regions they’re from lol) and don’t get me started if they’re the youngest of their family bc boy they sure are sassy 😂 and my god can they dance/twerk on anyone 💀

Women are pretty similar with each other like this, but they do portray it differently ofc. We literally hold each other to go shopping (link arms), we kiss each other’s cheeks as greeting, fake kiss when were drunk and that don’t mean anything most of the time.

(A/N:Everyone is just super affectionate and huggy (ugh I’m kinda glad I don’t live there no more, I hate this sometimes 🫠)

And they are just heterosexual people, but then there’s some of them that are not.

End of context.

Now with that in mind, let’s go in with Buck and Eddie. I’ve actually met people similar to Eddie in my life, the one’s that’ve done big gestures for friends, hell my uncle (who’s not blood related to me but is my father’s best friend since forever, is my godfather, and literally was my neighbour growing up bc he wanted to be close to my dad and their friend group. He promised to my dad and mum, if something were to happen to them no matter my age, he will take care of me as a daughter).

Keep in mind, Eddie is also an army man and that level of camaraderie is quite unique as well and now going to a fire house on top of this? When you risk your life with others, it creates this big connection, specially as a single guy and parents that are… certainly special on their own ways (derogatory).

His and Buck’s relationship is quite beautiful and there’s no hint in the show that’s goes into say either of them are anything but heterosexual.

That’s my serious answer.

Now going into my wholesome, care free answer, anon.

It be awesome if they turn their story around into a romantic one, I can see why others will view them that way and tbh? The story is there. If you flip everything I’ve told you about Latino men and what we know about them, and let’s say if Buck or Eddie did this for a woman? It would look like an actual romantic relationship under society eyes. So, I see the double standard here.

I tend to ship those relationships actually, rivals turned to great friends turn to lovers, and also…some of those looks they give each other? Gosh, it may be from what I said earlier, but it could also be something else. And hell, even though neither of them have been in relationships with men before (that we know of) sometimes you catch feelings from someone you didn’t expect out of nowhere yk? And that’ll be cool to see. The chemistry is there.

Sometimes, it’s fun not to take things so seriously. It’s fun to ship characters!

That being said, I genuinely don’t think buddies are trying to erase Eddie’s bg but I think because majority of tumblr users are not of Latino ethnicity they tend to, not forget about Eddie’s Latinoness (like you’re calling it), but will like to relate him to with what they know. And what they do know is being queer (again I’m assuming based on polls I’ve seen and as a rule of thumb, there a big sum of people who are queer and are also buddie fans/tumblr users), and just like everyone in this world, like every minority, they want to be represented :)

Representation for minority groups is always good. There’s not a lot of Hispanic/latino queer representation in TV and if we were to get it, I know that’ll make someone’s life better out there. Maybe not life changing but perhaps tell them that they’re not alone and that everything is and will be fine. Specially for those who unfortunately are not allowed to be their true selves. It gives people hope, that there’s some sense of belonging, out there, and that they can relate and feel included.

It’s not every day you see a flying saucer descend from the sky. Especially one that looks exactly like a giant stretch limo.

You watch with sleep-bleary eyes as the giant limo opens up, releasing a wave of short humanoid creatures with a single giant hand where their head should be.

“This is the weirdest thing I’ve seen all week,” you say as you watch the humanoid alien things begin to build and set up a stage complete with lights and a complex sound system right before your eyes.

Then, once the stage is completely set up, you watch as the back door to the giant stretch limo opens up and out steps a man with pecs of a professional body builder and the head of Jaws stunt double.

“Huh. Spoke too soon.”

“Hello, Planet Dirt!” greets the buff man with the head of a great white, microphone twirling in his hand. He sounds like every fuck boy you ever heard in your life. “You have been fortunate enough to be chosen for one of my legendary end of the world parties! Aren’t you lucky?”

He doesn’t wait for a response from you or any of your ten other neighbors who have stepped outside to see what all the racket is before bad EDM music begins pumping out of the speakers loud enough to shatter the windshields of all the cars parked out on the street. You imagine the car alarms are going off too but if they are they just blend in with the godawful sounds that this shark-headed freak deems good enough to gyrate his strangely-toned ass to.

You probably shouldn’t be staring at his ass. Mostly for the sake of your mental health. But, as if witnessing a car crash, you can’t look away. It’s just so perky and firm! How does a shark grow an ass like that? Where did he learn to twerk? These questions and many more float around your head until your eyes drift up and make contact with his.

Caught staring, you smile nervously; an old habit you can’t quite break. He smiles back, teeth sharp and gleaming and eyelids drooping into a half-lidded gleam.

And that’s when you realize you’ve made the biggest mistake of your life.

He jumps off the stage like he’s about to go crowd-surfing. None of your neighbors leap to his aid but a group of his weird hand-headed roadies gather together to catch him before they scurry over and deposit him directly in front of you.

“Hey. Saw you checking me out. The name’s Emperor Awesome.” He flexes a meaty bicep in your general direction and stares at you with a come-hither gleam. “And you are?”

“I’m uncomfortable.”

“Yeah?” He grasps your chin. He smells strongly of body butter and cheap spray tan. “How would you like to be my date instead?”

You cover your mouth and gag.

“Speechless?” He quirks an eyebrow. “Yeah, I get that reaction a lot.”

You grimace. “I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.”

“Oh, sweet, this is already going better than most my pickup attempts.”

I feel so emotional after this concert. Leaving the shitshow of Weverse, Naver and Zepeto streaming aside, the whole thing was so incredible!!! The setlist was impeccable and they performed 1000% like they always do. The opening run of Mic Drop, Run BTS (THE FUCKING CHOREO!!!!!!!!!) and Run had me twerking my ass off crying in the club style. I can’t believe they keep amazing me by how good they still are, how they’re still getting better 9 years into the game. I loved that they brought out the oldies like Cypher 3 and Ma City and the band was fucking awesome like always. I love that the boys never fail to acknowledge their staff, their dancers and their band!!!!!!

I’m also so emotional that the future is weighing on them all so much, that they keep telling ARMY to keep trusting them no matter what changes happen. I can’t imagine how much stress they are under and I’m so thankful that whatever fuckery was happening with the prep for the last few months, they were able to do this concert without a hitch (sans streaming lmao). I hope ARMY as a fandom listens to them and try not to overly freak out on the news that the boys might be dropping in a couple of months.

I’m looking forward to Jin’s single!!!!

Ask 2: Is it crazy that I don’t think BTS has peaked yet, Bpp? Like, with this concert, I still feel like the sky’s the limit. They can reach even further than this, which is crazy considering how legendary they already are. They’re amazing, like holy shit I’m kind of mind blown????????

I NEED to see that Run BTS performance from a thousand angles and resolutions.

Anons, thank you for everything else you wrote. You see, this is why I chuckle sometimes when I see hot takes from k-pop commentators. K-pop is quite literally competition distilled. In crude terms it is survival of the absolute fittest. The system has its favourites and BTS has never been one, and yet BTS has risen to the top. You watch a performance like the one we just saw, of idols nearing 30 years old when the average age in the industry is 20, and then you hear k-pop stans/commentators wax lyrical about how BTS is at the level they're at simply because of 'marketing' and 'social media', and then people get mad at me for laughing at their hot takes.

Lol.

BTS are the best, and that's why they're on top. Yoongi says they're going to be here for 20+ more years, and all that does is make me laugh harder cause boy will this be one heck of a trip.

I'm sat with my seatbelts fastened though. In this Bangtan Sonyeondan shit for life ig. After seeing a show like that there's no other choice.
