Avian Weather down from Birdland! 🪶

So anyways, this will give you guys the idea of how Avians look like in my style. Avians my way does not need any shirts or pants, they have feathers on them to keep them warm, like their small, cute variants (Birbs) do.

ARROWBIRD (Taenia Somavis)🏹 🔻

"A flatworm-like species that has adapted to mimic the Birdcages (another hunting species) for self defense and intimidation. They display more aggression than the latter and live in colonies. Instead of capturing their prey alive they shape their wings and body to achieve a better flight like a hang glider and then dive in to attack from the heights. In form they are thin and large, often surpassing the 20 ft. If they feel threatened or are attempting to assert dominance they will likely flash between black, white and blue hues to puzzle any foes

While endoparasitic, the Arrows (as commonly named) don’t need a host to survive and normally such behavior applies to the younger, growing larval forms (which are born through hermaphroditic means) that absorb nutrients with the scolex"𓆙 (Birdcage here for those curious!)

i did it. i personified the dracula parrot. he probably exists in my modern world of anthro birds....he so happens to be an grandpappy goth who really likes to wear dracula garb. 🖤❤

Some gifting for my girl's upcoming birthday! I'm way too early for it, but I rather finish it than having projects piling up a backlog.

Since people seem to like Zlatomir's parasitic petals, I thought it would be a good opportunity to show they aren't actual flowers and instead a mimicking tissue. They do shed occasionally, but they also have blood supply and nerve endings that dry up before they do so. Touching them causes the same discomfort as touching any internal organ would do, and Taffy sneaking her hands in there is a painful ordeal. Like a moth to light, she can't help herself, but she does it out of infatuated obsession love and makes sure to be as gentle as possible. He reluctantly lets her, because beyond the discomfort and pain he feels an incredible sense of safety and warmth when those hands finally cradle his heart.

"Gigantic bird-like beings that stand out for their bizarre appearance and hunting method. They capture prey with their malleable rib cage bodies akin to trapping something within a birdcage (hence the name) and later start pecking through the gaps to feed. The ribs can also extend to grasp larger beings and their seemingly hollow thin bodies allow for a silent flight, making them a threat to even humans. To complement the name the tip of the tail resembles a key.
