I’ve gone down this ramble so I won’t fully explain it again but as always - Grant and Lark having matching tattoos is canon to me!

Lark gets overstimulated very easily, but Grant found a cheat code realized when they were teenagers that he settles down easier when he’s wearing an oversized hoodie, so Grant always lends Lark his hoodies when he seems stressed

Very specific but I think their first kiss would have been when they were really young, like around 12 to 13. It didn’t lead to much at the time but they both think about it for many years before they eventually get together as adults

They have the exact same taste in food except that Grant is really bad with spice LOL

Lark won’t admit it but because of that fact, he always leaves a small portion of meals he makes for himself less seasoned, so he can give it to Grant if Grant asks to try it

They had gym class together in high school and their teacher fucking hated them because they were both visibly physically active but they would refuse to do the class activities anyways in favor of just bitching at each other (affectionate)

Definitely the kind of couple that uses insults as pet names. Lark does use cuter softer pet names when he’s tired though

THIS IS SO REAL THOUGH!! i mean like. obviously i am a genderfluid hermie believer because haha, i do that, but that boy is a girl. you know? hermie really does read, a lot of the time, as one of those closeted or even like, pre-realization trans people who are trying so hard to figure out what theyre doing. shes trying out all of these different roles, shes trying to impress a boy, shes deciding she hates that boy, she hates her parents, she hates her friends, something is so deeply wrong with her identity but she cant figure out what yet so she's just mad at the world-! hermie's identity crisis is something that can so so easily fit into a trans narrative, it makes me bonkers. shaking her shaking her shaking her. i think the poison ivy and kiera knightly outfits were definitely an awakening of some sort, i just want hermie to be transgender sooo so so badly. take estrogen, itll make you feel better!!!
