5 years later and this is still distressingly true

[image is a digital drawing of Gorou holding his fish box and gesturing authoritatively as if giving orders, his expression serious. He is wearing a black t-shirt that reads “WORKING: service dog; do not pet; I’m at work!”]

I think what makes TLOU show both enjoyable for the new and old fans is that they've kept the main story beats the same but the ways we actually get to these points are extremely different and take full advantage of the transition between mediums. We get a lot more time with the actual characters rather than on exploration and I'm really digging the pre-outbreak exposition we're getting before every episode

Not quite sure how to politely phrase this so I'll just be blunt, sorry, but would you ever open commissions? I'd pay big bux to get my priest mouse drawn by you
I do commissions extremely rarely, I'm afraid. It's not that I don't like drawing for people (or that I have no use for that extra income), I just can't handle the additional pressure and deadlines that well at all at the moment. Sorry!

so how do you cope with the realization that we're all going to have 40 years of full-time work at jobs that don't fucking matter. living for the weekends where you sleep one day and dissociate the other and then it's back to work on monday. and if you're lucky you retire just in time to start deteriorating physically and mentally. how do you live with that

Lmao Frank would absolutely keep a list of everything they tried to do to fix this situation. He has his work cut out for him with poor wally as well. Does he know what happened to Sally?
Frank does know what happened to Sally! ofc he caught his first glimpse of her when he sorta woke up, then after he Actually woke up, Wally made sure to sit him down and be like "she will kill you if you go near her <3"
still, Frank didn't really believe Wally. so Wally showed him proof:
and Frank quickly changed his tune.
and honestly, it's more like Wally has his work cut out for him with Frank lmao. cause by the time Frank fully wakes, Wally's pretty much given up. and rightfully so, there's... not really anything he can do except protect his sleeping friends.
so Frank's initial attempts to make a plan kinda went like:
Wally is very earnest about saying "that's nice". it is nice. it's refreshing to have someone around that still believes something can be done, however futile that hope is. Frank will catch on eventually.

so i know i´m being communist on main here but i do think that even small businesses run by artists need to do their best to not exploit other peoples labor. I know how hard it is to source every material ethically but i see more and more people getting labor intensive things like clothes, bags, plushies, ect. made in factories. it worries me how untransparent a lot stores and kickstarters are about the conditions in the factories that produce their products. especially when those factories are located in countries with poor labor rights.
of course you can go ahead and tell me there is no ethical consumption under capitalism and that even someone who handmakes everything and does their best still needs to f.e. buy materials that were produced in unknown conditions BUT
i think that the moment you actively are in control over production you are responsible for making sure it is done in a way that doesn´t make you profit from the exploitation of other people.
