Low quality doodle before I go to sleep
Just realized Dr. Kafka exists in my spider-sona for a year now but never draw her ( The night light in picture it’s just Doc about to giving Cham a little gift because she knows he’s scared of the dark )

Big news! There’s been some talks that Toby and Dr. Kafka were having with some of the higher ups! They believe with enough ongoing medical support, I could be able to safely live outside the BSAA facility and have a somewhat normal life, though the details for this is still being worked out!
I might be able to get out of inpatient care soon, some time in the next month! And I’ve been making plans to live with MJ in Chicago!!!
I’m very excited!! But very scared.
Am I really ready for this?
I hope so.

Reading Carnage: It's A Wonderful Life and you can like reverse engineer the characterization of movie!Carnage. It was clearly a big inspiration.
Comic Spoilers, movie spoilers.
tw: blood, gore, abuse, body horror, murder, violence, prisoner abuse
1. Ravencroft as Mutant Internment Camp:
With no clue of the context or who those people are just seeing them wheeling out Lady Wolverine feels like a "kick the dog" moment.
2. The Tongue Scene (tm) 👅:
3. Spectacle/Exploitation (i.e. the whole reason Eddie has contact with him in the movies is to sell his story).
4. "Magical Misery Tour"--He Said The Thing (totally read that in Woody Harrelson's voice). Also the horrific abuse is slightly different in the comics but no less horrible.
5. Lonely/Just wants friends/family :(
By the way the kid in his memory/dreamscape is Billy Bentine. His first/only friend as a kid, like Frances was in the movie.
Bonus, headcanon time:
...Add Lovecraft to things Cletus has canonically read.
Others on that list include:
* Dracula & Frankenstein (Venom Let There Be Carnage)
* How To Win Friends And Influence People (Carnage 2016)
* The Darkhold (Carnage 2016)
* Also he's studied Latin (Venom vs Carnage)
So he's not illiterate as previously suggested in Maximum Carnage.
Why the discrepancy? Maybe its a retcon, maybe the writers figured it's not exactly cool to equating being uneducated with serial murder.
Or maybe in Maximum Carnage he and Shriek are mocking Eddie since comics!Eddie clearly enjoys using big words when speaking to show off his intelligence. Peter too enjoys his snarky banter so maybe they make a game of it. See how frustrated they can make the heroes by pretending not to understand what they're saying or even basic things.
Spidey: *Clever and biting insult*
Carnage, [troll face]: "Huh, I have NO IDEA what you mean. Anyway you can die now."
Also, back to Lovecraft. In the movies Cletus constantly refers to Carnage as "the monster." This makes sense since, unless Carnage told him, he'd have no idea about what symbiotes are or where Carnage came from so the logical conclusion to being possessed by a tentacle monster might as well be "I have Cthulhu in my blood."
