I hate edward twilight so much but im fucking obsessed with his fucked up dynamic with shilo. Shilo is very narratively treated like a girl. In fact he's the perfect girl in his helpnessless. hes a prince stuck in a tower, he always needs a man to come to his aid (deacon, arthur, emizel), he is characterized with stereotypical female traits (not wanting to get dirty, cant fight, a smooth talker, innocent in ways that makes him sweet and naive, he wont assert himself)

it makes me want to go insane with how much edward takes away Shilo anatomy. A theme constant throughout shilo life, his mother forcing him to live in a tower, deacon taking him away from the arthur and emizel, arthur taking a protective role in shilo life which leads him to thinking he has authority over shilo shown in the midnight circle when he says they didnt ask for his permission . Edward drugs shilo for shits and giggle presumably to ruin his night and to embarrass himself because it was a hallucinogen. The drug being administered when he forces shilo to drink from a body, a form of drinking shilo's body doesnt accept. Edward kipnapping shilo into his bed changing his clothing (pjs and later outfit). The entire blood bond, first drink being when he was unconscious and the second under false assumptions.

Going back to shilo’s lack of control its done to him by adults far older than him. Shilo gets treated like a child, one that needs pampering and protecting. While frustrating for shilo he is only 18 within the story, barely an adult. These adults being, his mother, deacon and arthur (to a lesser extent) all of which are people he seeks out for protection. he leans heavily on them to provide him with food, blood. And Edward in his second appearance tells shilo he can teach him, be a guide for him in the strange lands of LA. Edward tries to liken himself to the level of care taker that arthur is to him, while also maintaining a romantic aspect to their relationship. The trope of waking up healed in ur love interest bed. this older man the age of his mother taking card he’s fed (with edwards blood)

Twilight and the Pokémon TV show have precisely the same problem: they established a pattern of introducing new characters, then stop after just two. Ash has Brock and Misty, the first two gym leaders, travel around the world with him, but why stop there? Why not keep recruiting every single gym leader he meets until, by season eight or so, there's a town's-worth of world-class expert Pokémon trainers following this random thirteen-year-old, sleeping on the ground and wandering around aimlessly? And why does Bella stop acquiring monster-boyfriends after the second book? Wouldn't Breaking Dawn be so much more fun if it was a vampire, a werewolf, a succubus, and a zombie fighting over her? And it could've kept on going until Forks, Washington was mostly populated with horny monsters obsessed with this one teenager. And, as for The Wizard of Oz...

But Jacob’s pretty sure that has more to do with the heated, panting body between him and Edward than it does the size of the mattress or the thread count of the sheets.  Though it was Bella’s idea to ‘tour’ Edward’s room, it was collectively their combined decision to soak up the moment they were all alive, healed, and alone.  Both boys have lost their shirts and Bella is only in her underwear, lying between them as they make out. Bella’s pushing her tongue into Jacob’s mouth, moaning every time Jacob’s hand squeezes her hip or Edward’s teeth brush across the bare skin of her neck. It’s more than a little obvious by the way she’s pushing her ass against Edward’s dick she wants this to go further.  “I think you were onto something Jake,” Bella says with a panting chuckle when Jacob finally releases her mouth. “Told ya,” Jake brags and Edward rolls his eyes.

i have one genuine question though: why clottedchip? what started you down that path? i mean this in a genuinely curious way, not in a rude manner. i personally ship clotted in a couple rarepairs myself so i have ZERO room to judge anyone on ships lmao. but i see clottedchip a lot and still have no idea where it came from in canon beyond the one line of “we have a bunch more scones if u want some :)”. would you be willing to shed some light on this? there’s no obligation to do so, ofc, and if you’d rather not that’s perfectly okay!

as for the question, i don’t really know myself! sometimes i like shipping the least popular pair in a “love triangle” but i think what draws me to them the most is how they’re both ‘tsunderes’ in different ways -- as in, they hide a lot of their vulnerabilities  -- which i think is interesting to explore (if they were in a relationship)! i also feel like there’s an added comedy with their dynamic? i can’t really describe it lol there’s just more to add and build with these two

i think there’s also a lot of overlap with why people would ship clotted with wildberry: probably forbidden, we used to hate each other(?) so now it’s just awkward (romantic), can i really trust you? etc; but i feel like chip is more dynamic when he’s paired with clotted (as in like there’s more back and forth/bickering)

there’s also the caveat with like. indulgences. as in like i think the way they’d love would be similar to myself (being a bit mean, never really being vulnerable, always trying to act cool, one-upping, etc.) -- im not sure if that’s a good thing though LMAO but there’s just... a lot of myself that i see in this ship

All Souls' Concert on November 3rd.

A surprise gift for their fans, or so Sister Imperator claimed. It made sense, as frustrating as it was. They hadn't done a pop-up show in Linköping for some time, and they were perhaps overdue.

There was simply no time, though.

The announcement had been dropped on October 31st and Papa had had them scrambling to prepare ever since. At least there had been free entertainment when Papa read Imperator the riot act in the rehearsal room for not informing him sooner.

Thankfully, they weren't far off the tour grind so warming back up was easy enough, but given the holiday, they were changing a little bit of the setlist to include one or two of the older songs. Luckily, most of them knew Jigolo Har Megiddo and Monstrance Clock, so it was easy to pick it back up again and teach those who didn't know the music. It wasn't a big change, but it was enough to mean Phantom and Aurora had to learn music they were unfamiliar with.

That provided its own set of complications, and Dew was at his wits' end along with pretty much everyone else in the band. Papa had been apologetic to them all, promising they would not have so little notice in the future one way or another.

Dew thought they shouldn't have changed the setlist, but it wasn't up to him. Papa didn't get to escape his own version of the riot act from the Ghouls, though.

They'd all been so busy that it had completely slipped Dew's mind to let Alastor know they'd be performing. Sure, he had sort of remembered the day before the concert, but he knew how important November 2nd was to the Overlord and wasn't about to interrupt a feast day when there was so much going on for both of them. It had slipped his mind before he could message him that night.

Phantom was ready to cry by the time soundcheck came around this afternoon. It had been almost non-stop rehearsals in preparation, and they were all excited, but worn out at the same time. They were as ready as they'd ever be. One could only hope the weather would hold this late in the year. It had been overcast all day, but no sign of rain or snow as of yet.

It was only about ten minutes until curtain when he remembered again, shooting off a quick text before they got in position.

As they take the stage, the sky has grown darker. They are a few songs in and in the distance, Dew can hear thunder as the opening chords to Cirice play. Looks like the weather isn't on their side.

Something twists in his belly, and it is not a good twist. Instead, it feels like an omen for the storm to begin during this particular song. He might not be a seer, but this feels wrong, and the chill that goes up his spine has nothing to do with the wind.
