Good evening bats. Today's piece is titled ghostlands, which I find to be extremely appropriate considering the lighting and color pallete used in this masterpiece. Everything about the piece shrieks the word 'spooky' (one of my favorite words), and I love it. The piece was created for a non-specified game, a medium that has caused the creation of innumerable masterworks. The greens and blues swirl together brilliantly to evoke that ethereal, ghostly atmosphere. The artist has created plenty of other pieces, multiple of which are similar in tone to this one, so feel free to take a minute to check out his other pieces and follow him if you like his style. He specifies on a few of his accounts that he doesn't want his pieces used commercially (obviously) or for avatars and such, so please resist the awesomeness of his character design and respect his wishes . What are some of your creative uses for adventuring gear? ⁣ I always love it when my players come up with completely off the wall solutions for handling situations. One of my favorite things to do as a player has been to write down seemingly worthless items. As a collector myself (or hoarder if you ask my significant other😅), I enjoy finding uses for everything. Whether in a practical sense or crafting, one mans junk is another mans treasure! ⁣ I can recall several times where that 1 item I wrote down came in handy (pun intended). ⁣ One time my party was tasked with acquiring a troll's arm. When we came across and defeated the troll there was 1 major issue; it was a venom troll that would spew venomous ooze in anyone that was close to it.😟 ⁣ A few sessions prior to that, my character had collected a bear trap. He tied this trap to a rope and used it to toss onto the arm and rip it free from the troll. Ta-da!
