if i were to pull together a spidersona she'd obviously be like a bookish "cobweb spider" type but also im tempted to do a wiiiilding crossover (ig only by vibe) with Beyond the Aquila Rift and also in the vein of that one text post about a Ghost and a zombie coming from the same person?

so like

far future spidergirl -- lets call her cobb lol -- has her ship get thrown off course and caught in, ironically, a spiderweb of sorts, and while she's in the Vision of the creature (imma call it/her Weaver), Weaver realizes "oh fuck if shes not on earth there will be Crimes afoot" and goes off on a my little toaster adventure

(with the implication, following the original short story, being that Cobb was always going to die out there but the Weaver eased the passing of people caught in its web; now weaver hazards to leave in order to resolve some unfinished business)

meanwhile

back in the web, a venom-symbiote finds the body of Cobb, still trapped in the Vision, and suddenly they're a little more tolerant of the void (and have thumbs!!!) and can make their way back to earth

and along the way, or maybe not until they find the Weaver, Cobb wakes up and, rather than being all too angry, realizes they can help with whatever badguy had to get handled

all to say, when they're pulled into the Spiderperson Lobby (idk i havent seen the new one lmao) they have some 'splainin to do about there being three of them -- and why one is a horrifying space monster in a human suit and the other two are a bookish girl in a horrifying space monster suit

(and yes all three of them ARE girlfriends how did you guess ajdlsksldjlsk)

I only watched all seasons of love death and robots very recently too. There were some aesthetically pleasing things, but they never reached the first season in terms of creativity in my opinion. I love that Zima Blue episode so so much. And the civilization in the freezer episode.

Sonnie's Edge, Zima Blue and Aquila Rift each have their issues but the three of them kind of leave the entire rest of the show choking on dust imo. 4 eps into season 2 and have yet to come across a new addition yet.
