I'm Aqua, pronouns they/she, likes and replies from @/aquaeclipse. I am an adult. This is my MC/MCYT sideblog, i.e. we post about block people roleplay here, sir.

In the DSMP fandom specifically, you might know me as the person who revamped c!Quackity's fan wiki page in 2021 and an analyst in the field.

In the Pirates SMP fandom specifically, you might know me as one of the archivists and the recap guy. Yes, several of the Pirates SMP content creators are currently living like rats in my walls. This series is my Roman Empire fr.

DSMP Transcription: The White House Fight

This transcription covers the conflict over the destruction of the White House in Manburg (17 October 2020), from when c!Schlatt announced its destruction, to c!Quackity leaving Manburg after shooting c!Schlatt and the immediate aftermath. The scene immediately afterward (c!Tommy confronting c!Quackity and recruiting him to join Pogtopia) is not included.

This transcription mainly covers c!Quackity and his POV of the incident, but is supplemented with c!Tommy and his POV and reactions to provide (the only) outsider perspective of the incident.

This took me about 11 hours over the course of ~3 days, and has been in my plans for months. It aims to provide a relatively objective analysis of c!Schlatt’s behaviour at one of his worse moments, and indirectly, a partial analysis on Manburg-era c!Quackity and his behaviour. The transcription also serves as a more detailed continuation of this post I made in August 2021 summarizing the abusive behaviours shown within the incident by c!Schlatt.

The writing of this post was partially inspired by this post by @rebelpeas (hope you don’t mind the tag) about the fanon portrayal of the abusive relationship; and this post also aims to act partially as a basis on how the relationship was portrayed in canon as opposed to fanon. (It isn’t a complete basis, given this was the build-up to the end of the relationship after several weeks if not longer, but it should help to act as a characterization guideline.)

DSMP Transcription: c!Tubbo’s Execution and the Manburg Massacre

This transcription covers the events surrounding c!Tubbo’s execution at the Manburg Festival, from when c!Schlatt announces that he wants c!Tubbo executed in front of the crowd, to the aftermath whereupon c!Techno starts firing on the crowd. (Obviously in the roleplay, not in real life.)

The transcription mainly focuses on the major players of both Manburg and Pogtopia, but not the neutral parties attending the Festival who sided with neither faction, i.e. the residents of the Greater Dream SMP at the time, unless they directly interfered with the livestream perspective.

This took me several hours because I sourced the entire scene from 7 different content creators' POVs - Fundy, Niki, Quackity, Techno, Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur. I hope that this will help members of the fandom solve discourse by looking at the concrete facts of the situation instead of relying on unreliable narrators of later dates.

Content warnings: Death, execution, mass shooting/terrorism, shouting/yelling (displayed in capslock), swearing/language, violence.

Note that from this point onward, all people mentioned are about the characters on the SMP, not the content creators that play them, unless stated otherwise.

Summary: Schlatt tells Techno to execute Tubbo, who was revealed to be a spy for Pogtopia before the transcription began. Wilbur and Tommy are operating under the belief that Techno is siding with Pogtopia and won’t hurt Tubbo, which they inform him by whisper. Meanwhile, Fundy, Niki, and Quackity object to the execution, with Niki trying to tell Techno not to listen to Schlatt / follow Schlatt’s orders, and Quackity trying to convince Schlatt that imprisoning Tubbo and letting him live is enough of a punishment for treason. However, Schlatt rejects everyone else’s protests. During this time, Techno had been waiting for further instructions from Wilbur and Tommy but never received one; and other than briefly agreeing with Quackity that imprisonment is a different option for the situation, he nonetheless loads his crossbow and fires, killing Tubbo and Schlatt canonically, and Quackity non-canonically. Wilbur rushes off to find the Button to set off the TNT and blow up Manburg, and Tommy, betrayed, starts attacking Techno. Techno marvels at the power of his rocket launcher and starts firing at the crowd, non-canonically killing many attendees of the Festival and causing general chaos, before fleeing the scene.

Schlatt: Technoblade, we’re– uh, we’re running on a tight schedule here, so…

Techno: What do you want out of me, Mr. President?

Schlatt: Oh, I mean, I mean… (sighs) Listen, I only call you in for special favours, I mean, we-- we go way back, right?

Niki: (quietly, to herself) What?

Techno: I-I don’t know what you mean.

Tubbo: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “Help?” and stares up at Wilbur on the roof of the LMFAO building)

Quackity: Schlatt, what are you actually talking about?

Tommy: (briefly turns back to look at Wilbur)

Niki: What?!

Schlatt: (quietly) This man… needs a special treatment.

Wilbur: (sends Tubbo a whisper saying “techno is on our side”)

Tubbo: (nervously) Uh…

Schlatt: Techno, I need– I need you to take him out.

Techno: (pretending to be oblivious to stall time) To dinner?

Wilbur: (sends Tubbo a whisper saying “he wont hurt you”)

Quackity: Wha–? We have him in jail though. He’s– He’s in jail.

Tommy: (turns back to look at Wilbur briefly, again)

Fundy: (crosstalk) Wh–?! Wait– (incomprehensible speaking)

Tubbo: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “okay thank god!”)

Niki: (crosstalk) [...] No, no! No, not Tubbo!

Techno: (crosstalk)

Schlatt: [You’re not gonna] take him out to dinner, bro, you’re– you’re gonna kill him. You’re gonna kill him right now.

Tommy: (looking down shocked/horrified at the stage, then shakes his head) No. [1]

Fundy: (crosstalk) (incomprehensible speaking) What?

Techno: (in “understanding”) Oh–!

Quackity: (takes off his sunglasses) He’s– Whoa!

Schlatt: (crosstalk) [...] Tubbo. You murder him RIGHT NOW! ON THIS FUCKING STAGE!

Quackity: (quietly) What?

Fundy: (quietly) It’s– It’s–

Tommy: (turns back to look at Wilbur, sends him a whisper saying “button”)

Schlatt: AND MAKE IT HURT!

Tubbo: (is silently mulling over Wilbur’s message that Techno was on Pogtopia’s side, believing Techno likely wouldn’t hurt him)

Fundy: (surprisedly) Uh– Schlatt, it’s a festival, man!

Quackity: (privately, to Fundy) Silence, homeless! [2]

Niki: (shouting) Techno, don’t do it! You have a saying in this! Don’t listen to him! [3]

Schlatt: (crosstalk) [...] my goddamn country, are you KIDDING ME?! (turns to Tubbo) MY RIGHT HAND MAN!

Tommy: (trains Dream’s crossbow, DEFINITELY NOT PENIS, on the stage, then turns back to look at Wilbur briefly)

Niki: (quietly) Don’t do it, don’t do it…

Quackity: (to himself, quietly) Jesus Christ…

Tubbo: (quietly) Schlatt–

Schlatt: I’d rather rule alone than with you! You fucking– I can’t even–

Techno: Oh no… I’m in a high-stress situation… I deal with these poorly…

Tommy: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “not yet actually”)

Fundy: (looks up on the rooftop of the LMFAO building, spotting Tommy and Wilbur)

Niki: (crosstalk) He is not your ruler… Techno, he’s not your ruler! [3]

Unknown Person: Just do it!

Quackity: Schlatt, Schlatt, are you sure? We have him– We have him trapped, he’s jailed. I think– I think that’s enough for, uh, breaking the constitution.

Wilbur: (sends Tommy a whisper saying “techno is on our side”)

Techno: (adding on, crosstalk) We could just imprison him.

Tommy: (nods at Wilbur)

Schlatt: [That’s] not enough.

Niki: Tubbo…

Tubbo: (squirms in the box)

Quackity: Schlatt, are you sure? (briefly turns towards Tubbo) W– I– He’s jailed.

Tommy: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “he wont do anything will he?” and moves towards him, crouching)

Schlatt: Technoblade–

Tubbo: Technoblade…

Techno: Uh… (starts loading his crossbow with a firework rocket) I-I’m loading the c–

Tommy: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “HE CAN KILL SCHLATT”)

Tubbo: Tech– Technoblade?

Schlatt: (backs away slightly) Are you gonna do it?

Niki: (crosstalk, horrified) Techno…

Schlatt: Are you gonna make it– You’re– You’re gonna make a–

Fundy: Not the festival rockets, not the festival rockets, man…

Tommy: (crosstalk) He can kill Schlatt, he can kill Schlatt! Do it, Techno! Kill him! Kill Schlatt! [1]

Schlatt: (to Techno) You’re gonna make an example? Of this– uh, of this– [incomprehensible word that starts with a “w” sound]?

Quackity: (quietly, to himself) Holy shit…

Tubbo: (sends Wilbur a whisper saying “WILBUR?!??!/”, then looks directly at Wilbur)

Fundy: Not the festival rockets!

Techno: (takes out a pickaxe and hits Tubbo with it, before raising his crossbow)

Tubbo: Technoblade?!

Tommy: (looks offended on Tubbo’s part)

Quackity: (quietly, to himself) Oh my god…

Wilbur: (sends Tubbo a whispering saying “stay strong”)

Schlatt: (crosstalk) He’s softening him up! He’s softening him up!

Tubbo: (quietly) Okay, I–

Techno: Tubbo–

Tubbo: I can’t– yeah?

Techno: Tubbo, I’m sorry. I’ll make it as painless– and colourful– as possible, Tubbo…

Tubbo: Technoblade…

Niki: (crosstalk) No, no… no…

Tubbo: What the hell? (looks up at the rooftop at Wilbur, says in a choked tone) Wilbur?

Schlatt: (evil laughter)

Techno: Tubbo, I’m sorry, I’m– I’m being subjected t-to mild amounts of peer pressure, Tubbo–

Schlatt: (crosstalk) DO IT! DO IT, TECHNOBLADE!

Quackity: (crosstalk) Oh my god… oh my god–

Niki: (crosstalk) Don’t listen to him!

Techno: Ah! (fires the first firework rocket)

Tommy: No… [1]

Techno: (quietly, to himself) Oh, he lived. Ah! (fires the second firework rocket, killing Tubbo canonically, Schlatt canonically, and Quackity non-canonically) Ah, I just– (laughs hysterically as he looks at the death messages, stunned by how much damage his firework rockets can do)

Tommy: (watches on, horrified)

Niki: (also watches on, horrified)

Wilbur: (to himself) Button. Button. Button. Button. Button. Button. Button. [1]

Fundy: (laughs hysterically)

Tommy: (horrified) Tubbo.

Tubbo: (quietly respawns at the boxing ring and runs away) [4]

Wilbur: (in the background) Tommy, go! Tommy, go! Tommy, go! (rushes off to find the Button)

Quackity: (having just respawned at the boxing ring) Jesus Christ!

Fundy: What just happened?!

Niki: (quietly) What?

Tommy: TUBBO! WHAT THE– (enderpearls onto the stage) Techno, what the fuck?! (starts trying to kill Techno)

Quackity: What the hell?

Techno: (sounding hysterical) Subscribe to Technoblade…

Quackity: Whoa!

Fundy: (incomprehensible shouting)

Niki: Wil?! Tommy?

Quackity: What the hell is going on?

Tommy: (turns back to the execution box) Tubbo! TUBBO!

Fundy: What is happening?! (runs towards the podium)

Tubbo: (runs to the Ninja Alley and collects most of his items, which were stored in a chest there) [4]

Techno: (fires 7 shots on the crowd, killing Ponk, Schlatt, Callahan, Niki and Bad non-canonically) KILL EVERYBODY! (opens the in-game chat to see the sheer amount of damage he caused with his firework launcher, while laughing hysterically)

Niki: No! (tries to run, but is killed non-canonically) No!

Quackity: (runs up from the back of the podium) Get outta here!

Fundy: (runs away) Whoa! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!

Wilbur: (in the distance) Wait, where’s the fucking button?

Quackity: Everyone go after TommyInnit! (starts attacking Tommy)

Quackity: (respawns again at the boxing ring) All party-goers, go after TommyInnit!

Fundy: (running to the dunk tank, shouting incomprehensibly)

Purpled: (enters the backstage area of the podium, likely to go after Tommy)

Tommy: Where’s Tubbo? (starts fighting with Purpled)

Tubbo: (runs away) Oh my god…

Techno: (Riptide-tridents away) We leave! We leave! We gotta get outta here!

Niki: (is too shocked to respawn)

Additional Notes

[1] Everything that Tommy and Wilbur are saying are in private, no one could hear either of them until after the execution.

[2] Earlier during the Festival, Quackity told Fundy he looked homeless because he forgot his suit and was wearing his Dreamon Hunter uniform to the Festival.

[3] Niki actually had a lot to say about the execution, but she is difficult to hear most of the time from the stage, due to how quiet her voice is, especially in comparison with everyone else. Therefore, her comments are primarily sourced from her own POV (and Fundy’s as well) – you can also hear her occasionally from Tommy’s, Tubbo’s, and Wilbur’s POVs, but she’s not very comprehensible from the rooftop. You can also barely hear her in Techno’s video, but not enough to be comprehensible because she’s quiet and the people on stage are loud. Throughout the entire segment, she looked very pained and sounded like she was trying not to cry… which, in the RP context, would make a lot of sense, given the situation.

[4] Since respawning is not explained in-universe, it is possible that what happens at this point is non-canonical. Aside from this, a lot of Tubbo’s dialogue after his execution isn’t transcribed because it’s mainly incomprehensible expressions of shock.

I am vehemently c!Dream critical and if I were whitelisted to the SMP, the first thing I would do is make sure c!Dream has no more canon lives
