Got this as an ad recently, somewhere, and while on the one hand it would make dumpling-making a lot faster, there's something both violent and sexual about it that I find deeply unsettling. It makes the wrapper look faintly...labial, somehow, and then immediately looks like it would tear the wrapper in half as it turned.

Indeed, almost everything in the room is industrial quality, from the appliances to the parts that make up the center island work area. The island is on wheels so it can easily be maneuvered to wherever it is needed most.

(You might want to turn down the volume a little if you play the above video: the bass is kind of loud.)
...We don't really need this in our kitchen (much less have counter space for it). Still... it's attractive.

Roche d'Harveaux limestone, cut into sixteen-inch squares and placed in a running bond pattern, is used in all remodeled areas. The limestone picks up the tone of the maple cabinetry, while the black granite, devoid of grain, provides contrast.
