+ Jack | i act older (maybe like 20-ish?) when i get this m-shift. i also tend to be more chaotic, but i have a slightly stronger sense of justice. more laid back posture. more likely to make sex jokes. silly outside, self-hatred. usually the main one i get. triggered by listening to certain songs or taking to my canonmate/boyfriend dave :3 (i love him). my (possible) npd traits get heightened.

+ Gingi | silly creecher. i tend to bite/get the urge to bite people. sometimes i get a ph-shift of a tail or my phonehead when this happens. my posture/physical movements become creature-like, and i tend to stand on my tippy-toes, to emulate how animal legs work. very bouncy. my hands are usually shaped like claws. triggered by dialtown related stuff.

+ PG | i don't get this one a lot, so i'll be brief. calmest of these. i tend to think of vincent/the other staff more. usually triggered by fnaf music (ESPECIALLY 'night guard themed' fnaf music)

+ wolf | basically just a doggo. more animalistic, and tends to bare teeth. i also get urges to growl or bark during these. no known triggers.

i actually m-shift a lot. chances are, if your talking to me, i'm m-shifted. if i'm not, i usually am like...all of my fictiotypes personalities combined at once. when i m-shift, it usually just means one of those are more prominent.

also i don’t think i’m actually otherlink? i misunderstood what it meant and for me whatever it is definitely isn’t a choice. like when i first got into fnaf a year ago and learned about springtrap i was overwhelmed by that same feeling i got about my theriotype, just in a different way. like “this guy gets it!” but instead of feeling like i *was* him, it was more like a strong familial bond or like a deep friendship.

it was because of really personal mental illness/dissociation stuff but tbf my therianism is also due to trauma so (i know not every therian is “born this way”/there are purely psychological therians and i’m sure the same applies to otherkin too! lmk if i’m wrong)

but like. this video Changed me ok. i watched this and i was like “i relate to this a normal amount in a normal way and this man is NOT my found family” (foaming at the mouth)

but like. is there a term for it? i thought otherlink was just like otherkin in that it’s not a choice, but instead of being the thing you’re just connected to it in some way, but i realized it *is* a choice, like copinglink. obviously i didn’t choose this, so is there a term for what i’ve experienced, and is it like this for anyone else? i’m curious
