Oh in case anyone wanted to know yes I cried when I saw the Little Mermaid in theaters. Jae had to continously grab my hand bc I started shaking lol, I was crying like a BABY

No I did not cry during the Barbie movie but I was dressed to the nines for both lol

#mine #i had to hold myself back from sobbing so i wouldn't miss anything #could literally feel my inner child healing throughout that entire movie it was so good #me and jae both dressed in pink for barbie ofc but for tlm i had a pirple top green bottoms obvi with a frov beret #and beacoup frog accesories as well as a fuck ton of glitter #oh yes i also did bring my childhood turtle plushie named flatface into ther theater what about it #its safe so assume we can infer which one was my favorite lol #edit I can't spell- purple top green bottoms and a frog beret #willow has a matching crochet frog hat teehee #there was no question of who the most hyper person in the theater was it was very visibly me lmak #we went a little later in the week so the theater was surprisingly empty though which was fine by me it made my crying less embarassing lma #ANYWAY ITS ON DISNEY PLUS NOW TIME TO WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN ALL WEEK

#my partners are so so cool you guys #they're so lovely and they care about me and i care about them so much #and they're so hot omg #like wow i fucking scored huh #anyway polyamorous win #i love them and i had a dream last night about learning to crochet so i could crochet little animals for them #sometimes i think about sewing plushies for them #for one of them i would make a bear. probably a polar bear #and i would hide things inside the stuffing as a little surprise #in case the stitches ever ripped and it needed to be fixed #and for the other one i think it would be either a frog or a goose #and i would make little boots for it #and scarves for winter #yeah. i just... care about them a lot and i am having feelings about wanting to give them a little kiss on the forehead #it sucks that they're both so far away but the day i visit i am going to give them so many kisses to make up for it #i have been slowly gathering presents for them #yes the second relationship is a relatively new development but even before then i was collecting things to bring to them #i am going to give them all the things i have gotten for them to express how much i care about them #and then i will be winning at showing my love #and it will be good.#<3

Grocery bag ive been making from some early attempts at sock yarn. It's very strong (due to being VERY overtwisted) and seems to be pretty well suited for bags.

#the base is a granny square because i cannot for the life of me get the increases right in crochet to do flat circular bases #same reason why i never crochet hats #anyway im actually starting to think this sock yarn was pretty close to the mark #i frogged the same length of yarn like 15 times figuring out a design and it didnt show any damage at all #i do remember it being a lot of work though #crochet #grocery bag #handspun yarn #jacob fleece

This is one of the more bizarre bits of shaping I’ve done, I’d most likely want to tweak on this pattern if I ever do it again and would DEFINITELY do so before writing up a pattern to give to other people, and I am SO glad I wrote this shit down because I have to do it twice, but: Behold!

It looks a bit wonky from the other side and at the closure - again, would want to refine it if I do it again - but it’s definitely a defined heel. Score one for me.
