Let me get this straight: Dude wrote an entire concert saga/plot surrounding 1 song, but then the song was not ready for the first installation of the saga, a concert which took place in August 2021 LITERALLY TITLED AFTER SAID SONG, because naturally, he did not finish writing the TITULAR FUCKING SONG on time, so he just...went on with the show without THE TITULAR FUCKING SONG, then created 2 additional installations in the saga in the form of 2 concerts, and now, a year and a half after the first concert, which was supposed to be the song's debut, and 4 days before the 4th and last concert, at 02:24, he finished writing it...

He managed to learn to play A WHOLE ASS NEW INSTRUMENT for that 1st concert, but not to finish writing 1(one) song...

Dare I say, chaotic procrastinating icon?

#I'm allowing myself to make fun of it because it took me a whole ass year to translate a song musically #(which is naturally way easier than writing & composing an actual song start to finish)#and I still change and adapt the lyrics every other day #like literally who else does it like us Ne-doms ADHD havers #me: I don't get people in parasocial relationships with celebs #also me: this #(I'm kidding it's not really parasocial I just feel represented. at last.#I also take years to finish projects because I quit them mid-way only to come back to them years later and finish them #Da Vinci style I guess lol)#anyways cannot wait to hear it.

oh if the ROs remember their good ends with MC but she's with Miranda and the loops have stopped and MC DOESN'T remember you know it's gonna be an absolute angst pining mess.

• Bela's heart has been taken away and the spell reinforced but she cannot, she WILL NOT forget the MC she had loved. But this one? Oh, it hurts to see her so willingly blind, to see her tormentor living what was supposed to be HER happy ending. But MC is happy, so there is nothing she can do but to let her go and work on the restraints holding herself prisoner instead.

• Cass' is taken aback. It took her MC to learn what love truly is and she is READY to start winning her back, until she sees the empty expression in her face which bore no familiarity. And the fact that she isn't into theater the same way you were before? OOP.

• Daniela is broken. You became her rock and she was yours and you were away and happy and everything was wonderful for so many years and then???? you KNOW her emotions are gonna be fucked up. You guys actually got the most time together. And now it's NOT going to happen because you're happily by her side.

• Alcina takes a double take when she remembers what you shared, and the way she resolutely broke her bonds against Miranda FOR you. WITH you. But this? You willingly being in the cult, being Miranda's prized feather, being Eva's other mother? Well, there is nothing left to do... but to do her work.

• Angie is at first, understandably upset, but honestly I feel like she's the one who bounces out quick, bc what can SHE do against Miranda? And she has her coping strategies (however DANGEROUS) and I see her going back to that kind of crutch. But at the same time, she remembers the softness between you and promises herself to be better about it... at the very least. It's what you promised each other, after all.

• Donna's RABID. You know her possessiveness for what she deems hers is absolute, and that she's one bad day away from losing her tightly held sanity. It CHAFES to see MC with Miranda, to see that in the end, she has been left behind... AGAIN. She takes solace in Angie and definitely goes back to being a hermit, but at the same time... well. WELL.

• Miranda's... well. Miranda. This isn't an ideal situation, but she has MC secured. You are hers and she is yours, but sometimes she can't help but give you a reminder... and as well as a reminder to everyone else who covets her precious little feather.

#I know I'm likely catastrophizing and also that a day or two won't make a difference #But I noticed a lump a month or two ago and then dismissed it as not a problem #I cannot remember why I did this. Like did it go away? Did I forget?#Either way I noticed it again today. Spent twenty minutes trying to reach my doctor's office #Before I was fully losing my mind (it's terrible on a good day to keep hearing 'we have a patient portal!' and 'we do urgent care on week!'#Once a minute.) And had to hang up and roll into work 30 minutes late #Just tried to call them again and they are at lunch #Like!! I just want an appointment and for someone to tell me it's not cancer or do a biopsy if it is #Because the internet suggests it could very well be cancer!!!!#And I'm limited on what else it could be based on symptoms so like. I'd like to speak to a fucking doctor #So I can know for sure #Either way I'm starting to investigate a new practice because this one has reassigned me three times in 1 year #So I want to try to find a place that is more stable and doesn't have 20+ minute wait times to speak to a human #Update that I called again and had to hang up after 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer #If the bridge weren't an issue I would show up in person #Anyways I'm now hoping to get through at another place and switch PCPs because this is unacceptable #Even the 'are you sick and need to get in today' option had a 10+ minute wait #Why even have a phone

Firstly, UHURA IS DOING SO MUCH. TAKE A BREAK. REST WON'T KILL YOU.

Pelia is also like a cool grandma that probably keeps a bunch of cool rocks around her house and a ton of houseplants she got in 93' and has kept alive ever since.

JAMES T. KIRK MAKES A REAL APPEARANCE AND MY GOD HE'S SO COOL. HE HAS MY ENTIRE HEART HE ENCAPSULATES THE BEST PARTS OF KIRK SO FAR I AM EXCITED TO SEE MORE OF HIM.

Kirk is also out here breaking records. Which is such a slay! You go, Jim, break them records.

Speaking of records, jealously isn't a good look on Sammy over here. Neither is that moustache. I should know, I've helped bully the same moustache off a man.

Also no fucking way they mimicked the second pilot ep. of Star Trek TOS with Chapel and Spock playing chess. Chapel doesn't seem to excited to be playing though, can't blame her. I'm a sudoku kinda gal myself. Spock seemed excited to tease and banter with Chapel. Just wait bbg, one day someone will banter back and you can play chess like nerds in peace.

Just rescued a cat that was trapped on the roof for 3 days 😪

#i cannot take credit for most if it tho...#gosh... i live in a 5 story apartment where theres no way a cat could get on the roof from outside #someome mustve left the doors open and the cat had gotten to the roof and then they closes the roof's door #apparently i was the only one who could hear her thru the vents for 2 days #we went looking last night but it was super dark and we couldnt find anything #but today the whinings started again and more incessant...#i went looking again and finally spotted her and managed to lure her into the staircase and close the roof“#roof's door with boiled chicken #but she was so scared she wouldnt run downstairs like i expected her to #i left her some food and water but i was so worried bc she didnt have anywhere to pee and poo #even on the rooftop we dont have any garden or anything #so i waited for my neighbour across who has a cat to come home from work so we can figure something out together #she managed to gain her trust and scruff her and we jumped into the elevator #it was a 2 man job kdjdkdjd #but we finally managed to release her back into the world <3 #its so weird that even my neighbour hadn't heard the meows last night...#but im so relieved...#she was such a pro with the way she caught the cat... like damn #oh did i mention it was a calico?🥺#anyway #rescue mission: successful ✅️

AH I REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY EARLIER but it's kind of stupid, lmao.

So my partner is getting into brewing beer and I got them a Tilt, which is a Bluetooth hydrometer. It measures specific gravity and temperature, which are things you want to know so that you don't kill your yeast or whatever. Except the sensor's Bluetooth range is super short, and it basically runs via a phone app, and the temperature we're logging currently is the crawlspace, accessible via the staircase closet. So they were like, wait, what do we do about this, because I can't leave my phone in the closet, that's my alarm clock.

In a kind of ridiculous turn of life imitating art, I was like, hold up, I got just the thing right at my desk. Bam. Old phone. We just needed to scrounge up a charger because the battery is so dead that after charging just enough to power on it claimed it was at 53% (to be fair to it, there is a very real chance that it's correct, and it just holds no charge at this point so the capacity is just THAT low) and now it lives in the closet logging sensor data.

And I was like, you know...didn't I just solve a major story detail with a much larger version of this...yeah, no, this is all vaguely familiar somehow, power supply issues and all. Kind of cool that the concept works though. Kind of weird that it came up at all?

We are not gonna talk about the fact that I still have at least two more ancient-ass phones in a drawer where that came from because look, man, sometimes you just need a camera/mic/mini computer with Bluetooth and wifi that fits in a pocket, and people just get rid of these things, but not me. I actually could build a shitty security system out of them if I was reaaaally inclined. I mean. I'm not. But it's technically possible.

For real though, If I pick up any stupid maker projects I still high-key am thinking about slapping Bluetooth into a necomimi headset and running that through an Arduino and learning to code just enough to let me skip songs/change the volume on Spotify with my brain, because it's entirely doable, and I mean yeah I could do that on my phone remotely too, but that's not funny, now, is it. I'm just not sure it's $350+ of parts funny. Kind of a big investment just to prove the point that haha look I am the extremely ADHD type of lazy where I would rather solve a problem via the most convoluted and complicated Rube-Goldberg type ass machine way possible rather than just perform a single simple action.

YEAH I'VE BEEN THIS SCATTERED ALL DAY AND I REALLY SHOULD GO TO BED SHOULDN'T I. I started playing Satisfactory. Mistakes were made. I'm going to dream about conveyor belts again and I did it to myself...

#you know I used to mostly blog about witchcraft and paganism #and now I'm like. you know what I want to do? chain an EEG sensor to the Spotify API and skip songs with my brain.#it's kind of like magic when you put it like that. maybe things haven't actually changed that much after all #the headset idea actually came about bc I'd gotten so far into the writing zone that I literally just. tried to skip a song with my brain.#because I had so much reploid characters on my mind that it just sounded like a normal course of action I should be able to take #obviously it didn't work and cue me sitting there for a full 3 seconds going 'why didn't it. wait. why did I think it would?'#followed immediately after by 'YEAH BUT I PROBABLY COULD DO THAT ACTUALLY'#because you just Cannot write a character like Glitch without it rubbing off on you a little bit and WWGD kicked in real hard lmao #well obviously he'd [ridiculous chain of ideas ending in 'anyway I installed some shit and now I can control Spotify with my mind']#and I gotta say I do not like the idea of sticking a sensor on the *inside* of my skull. sounds very bad.#but it doesn't have to be on the inside to work soooo there's that!#I have a friend who for quite a long time had a rare earth magnet in one finger so he could find live wires by touch #he ended up removing it for work eventually but when I say I was jelly. man. but also kinda squeamish about it.#I do not like sharp things and I am Very funny about my fingers as an artist/writer/used to be musician.#but man that sounds cool. I want the magnet senses. I don't think I want them enough to have a magnet under my skin though #I think I wouldn't use them enough for that to be helpful actually lmao #anyway do I even need more senses? probably not. mine are already unfiltered and loud as shit.#'boy I wish I could sense magnetic fields' says idiot guy who can hear the mains hum even with no electronics currently turned on #like when the power goes out I can FEEL the fucking difference in the air and it's unnaturally quiet and kinda spooky #I do not think I need help on this front actually.
