BNHA headcannon: Hizashi Yamada And Aizawa Shouta being your dads:

The plan for adopting a child was more or less Hizashi’s idea, Aizawa on the other hand thought it was a terrible idea.

Not because he didn’t want a kid, he truly did after what he’s been through with class 1-A, honestly thinking time of his own children in a way.

But with not only their hero work being time consuming they were also teachers of their respective classes and not to mention Hazashis’ radio show were pilled upon them like a stack of documents that had to be completed by the next week.

So realistically they wouldn’t have enough time to give the child the love and care it required, Hizashi, knowing this was true, was none the less disheartened by this which only made Aizawa’s heart crack.

Months later though when their schedules were less overwhelming they went to the local orphanage where they met soon to be 18 year old you. Their soon to be child.

After spending a good amount of months building a bond with you, admitting lesser known facts about ones backstory such as the time you told them about your less the successful luck in getting adopted, mostly because you were much older then most people’s desired child. Which left a sour taste in your mouth.

So on the week of your birthday, Aizawa and Hizashi informed you that they were going to adopt you but didn’t want to do so if you were uncomfortable, which you denied would be the case because you truly wanted to be adopted by them for a long time, the second you got to know them to be precise.

Let’s just said Hizashi was crying rivers at how adorable you were being right then and there whilst Aizawa smiles softly, whipping away a stray tear that streamed down his cheek, thankful that he was gaining another light in his life in these dreary dark times.

Needless to say both of your dads were more or less protective of you in fear of a villain lurking in the shadows poised and ready to injure you or kidnap you...or both. So you had a strict cerfew thanks to Dadzawa, Haizshi tried to reason with him but ultimately falls short when he was shot with an accusatory stare.

No one knew of your relations to them because you went by a fake last name due to Aizawa’s overprotectivness and constant worry of your well being that haizashi would have to step in and stop him from gaining new grey hairs from all the stress taking care of one child could be. Especially if they’re adopted by two well known heroes.

There has been times where you have been over the UA dormitories where you become acquainted with class 1-A who were more or less surprised that Aizawa and Hizashi adopted a child but they could obviously see the love they had for you as their child and your love for them as your dads.

That doesn’t mean they didn’t pessture you about any awkward stories you might have of them which made you laugh because you wished you did but you didn’t, only hilarious ones where Hizashi would treat you like you were a lot younger then you actually were whilst Aizawa treated you with the right amount of maturity as he taught you how to use his capture scarf and hand to hand combat for self denfense purposes.

You also got to meet Shinsou and Eri, whom you called your step siblings since you see how Aizawa wafted towards the two of them, such earned you an eye roll from Aizawa and Shinsou and a whole belly laugh from Hizashi, who was wheezing on the floor, tears pricking his eyes.

It took eri a while to become a comfortable around you but it was worth the wait because you were about as thick as theives, stealing her some cookies and candy apples whenever you could just to see her smile as bright as the sun itself.

Ngl it brought a tear to your eyes when you saw her smile for the first time.

It is through eri and Midoriya that you met your furture significant other, a blonde beef cake called Mirio who had the personality and engergy of living sunlight.

God he’s so perfect in your eyes, the way his eyes catch the light, whether it’s be natural or not, they glowed with all sorts of emotions that might’ve been invisible to the eyes.

Let’s not start with how he acted when with class 1-A and Eri, he was just...so kind, compassionate, strong, sweeter then the sweetest of sweet treats and overall a teddy bear, it wasn’t a shocker when you found yourself wanting to spend more time with the blonde babe.

He would flash you that damned smile and your knees would buckle for how weak they suddenly became, to which he would rush over and ask if you were ok all the while being close proximity of you didn’t make it any better because your face flushed bright red.

That only worried him more as he fretted over you having a cold or a fever, going to far as to stick a thermometer in your mouth as a result.

Mirio wasn’t going to lie if he didn’t find You adorable when he first met you, his feelings increase when he saw you and eri with an unnecessary amount of hair bobbles embedded into your hairs as you burst out laughing at how ridiculous the other looked whilst watching any and all Disney movies before your dad would tell you it was time to go.

Your dads didn’t turn a blind eye to this obvious tension between you and Mirio, a found smile growing on Haizashis’ lips as he was witnessing his child’s first love blossom before his eyes while a cold intimidating stare was embedded within Aizawa’s, not trusting anyone to get romantically close to his child, his overprotective dad senses were kicking into overdrive at that moment.

Overall your life just gotten a little brighter with your dads and your many friends by your side, who heavily shipped you with Mirio and would make fake scenarios as to make you interact, but you didn’t want it any other way...your glad you got adopted that day, you wouldn’t take advantage of that for as long as you live. You were just greatful to live with such caring and loving dads.

Short answer: Yes!

Long answer: fuck yes, i have so many! How much time do you have?

I have a draft on here of just ideas. Not all my ideas panned out or haven't been fleshed out though (some were just a scenario i daydreamed about which i didn't add) and quite a few involve transfer students or something like that. I have like 3 oc ideas for like next gen ocs, i won't put them here though, (one is an Ot3 child, one is a midotsuyu child, and one is a shinsocha just cause i planned the quirk first and uraraka fit best)

Example:

I have one that is essentially if an oc of Fma/fmab was sent through the gate/portal thing similar to in the '03 anime tied with something sorta similar to @nightstorms-universes 's Blair. Like they were sent through the gate before the big battle thing and ended up being born in another universe but still retaining their memories of fma verse. (I am totally leaving out so many details lmao) so they have a mha verse which they have a magic quirk alongside the alchemy from fma, they have a Hp verse, and literally any other fandom i want. Idk how they change universes yet though death is one option or maybe truth pulls them through another portal when they have "learned" something.

I have an oc that is Deku's twin which i named Midoriya "Haruto" Haruo. She was a late bloomer in the quirk department as her quirk didn't manifest until Izuku received OFA. Her quirk is a stronger version of their mother's quirk.I had it where she received a scar on her face from Bakugou when she got between him and Izuku. I paired her with Todoroki.

I have one that is a Todoroki twin oc. Her name is Todoroki Atsuko and there are two Versions of her storyline.

Raised by Endeavor storyline: Grew up alongside her twin, has similar abilities to him except she can change the properties to her flames which allows them to heal instead of harm. She learned this by accidentally healing herself and Shouto a bit not long after their mother scarred them. It wasn't completely healed but it is a lot less bright or noticable. Unlike her Twin, She was not trained by Endeavor or given a recommendation into UA. Shouto helped her a lot with training and was a better and kinder teacher. She took the same entrance exam thing as Deku but was in the same group as Kirishima. I am not 100% on a ship but either Deku, Kirishima, or (if he isn't Touya) Dabi.

Raised by Dabi (who is Touya) storyline: Endeavor basically disowned her when she is still really small because he thought she was quirkless (Touya hasn't disappeared yet). Touya was the one that she had first reached out to as a baby and had gripped his finger. He had taught her to walk, talk, and ride a bike. He had seen her use her quirk (if she has one in this version). If she has a quirk it would be the same as the RbE storyline, Dabi is less scarred though potentially he still would smell like burnt flesh (if that is what he smells like lmao). When Touya becomes Dabi, Atsuko becomes Rin. Probably at least starts as a Villian Au. Maybe she goes undercover in UA and she is the traitor. She is close to Toga. Would probably be shipped with Deku or maybe Kirishima or Denki? There is definitely potential for them to change her side, both for the LI and for her twin. Dabi likely didn't let her know everything just as a precaution since he would know her really well.

More recently i have been playing the beginning idea that gave me Atsuko until the idea of a character with a phoenix quirk hit me (ngl i have had many daydreams involving a phoenix quirk but this one panned out best into an oc). I ship her with Fatgum who is her boyfriend at least. She isn't a hero as she was always verbally shot down by people saying her quirk was not offensive enough to be a hero quirk (or something like that) but idk what job she would have. I ended up daydreaming that she ended up basically strong arming her way into helping Endeavor's kids after his wife was not there so that Fuyumi wouldn't have to act as a mother to her brothers. So fatgum and the oc become like aunt and uncle figures to the kids. Once all might gets injured, the oc kinda pulls him and sir nighteye into the folds. Once they start getting sidekicks; like Tamaki and mirio and kirishima and deku, the oc just adores them all and acts motherly/auntly(?) Toward them. (I currently love this one the best but i need to plan it better *screams*)

I have a quirkless oc with two potential versions. In both, the OC was born in America (i am projecting so :P) and moved to Japan with their father.

Transfer student version: Moved to Japan when her father got a job offer just before she went into High school, the job offered her the chance to apply at UA which she took despite being quirkless, which was another reason she moved as her mom was very much against her ambition to be a quirkless hero, as well as have a translation device in order to help her communicate until she became able to communicate in Japanese by herself. Her dad was a bit worried about that but he went out of his way to give her training she might need from Karate and first aid classes as a child, self defense and boxing classes in middle school, and he taught her to fight with polearms himself. He always encouraged her to figure out ways to counter the quirks of people she met or saw in the media and she became really good at it. She gets into class 1A because she never planned on fighting the robots, she always planned on saving people and because that was her plan she succeeded. Not everyone is happy about it and she almost was last in Aizawa's test thing on the first day but she just barely beat Izuku. She isn't really tactical but she is good at thinking on her feet and taking the option that makes the most sense to her, it often is not the simplest or most logical but somehow works out for her. I ship this version with Shinsou.

Childhood friend version: around the time she learned she was quirkless as a small child, Her dad got a job offer that woyld take him to live in Japan. with little convincing towards her mother aside from not revealing his plan, She was allowed to go with him. He hoped that in Japan, She might be able to accomplish her goal of being a hero despite lacking a quirk. She befriends Izuku on her very first day and often lands in fights with Bakugou which leaves her with a lot of scars but none are very noticable unless looking for them. She ends up either in the general studies or maybe support class? I ship this version with Deku.

That is all i got off the top of my head. Though like i said, i only put the ones that actually panned out into an oc. I have had so many ideas that just stayed as self inserty daydreams that i didn't flesh out or write down and ngl so many of them were shipping with Deku cause i am a huge dork. I did have a few with like Tamaki, Hawks, Kirishima, and Toga too haha.

a boku no hero academia au in which bakugo and tamaki have each other's personalities. this means that tamaki is loud and ready to throw hands at any second, and bakugo is nervous and tries to blend in with the walls. however, mirio and midoriya's personalities are the same and do not switch, and most of everything of the original plot of the show is the same (obviously excluding bakugo's outbursts and tamaki facing the wall when we meet the big 3 jdhskd)

Lex / argentconflagration's fic year in review 2019!

Part 3: Overall thoughts

Questions are taken from @pearwaldorf! (x) Part 1 and Part 2 have links to all the fics.

TOTAL WORD COUNT: ~45,000 words!!! That’s so many! I’m so happy!

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Looking back, I feel like I made a lot of progress as a writer this year!

PERSONAL BEST/FAVORITE: Thanatos. It was so difficult to write but it turned out so good! That was the one I had people screaming at me over, and I’m so glad I got to have that experience.

MOST UNDERAPPRECIATED (IMO): In Wake Of Nishi Ward Incident, A Tender Moment for Suneater, Red Riot. But it’s such a tiny ship, I can’t be too mad that it didn’t get more attention.

MOST POPULAR: The Official Mr Fell Quarantine Thread. Gosh, whose soul do I need to sacrifice to get that kind of attention for every fic I write?

STORY WITH THE SEXIEST MOMENT: if spirits embrace. I’m not going to put a quote here, but metaphysical sex is hot, yo. And metaphysical sex happening simultaneously with physical sex is even hotter.

MOST FUN STORY TO WRITE: The Blessed Postal Service. This was hard to choose. I experience so many different emotions while writing, and it’s hard to single out one of them as ‘most fun’. But The Blessed Postal Service was really easy to write, it all came out in a rush in the early hours of the morning, and it was exciting.

STORY THAT SHIFTED MY OWN PERCEPTION OF A CHARACTER: Thanatos. There are a lot of good answers for this one, too, but I’m particularly remembering a comment by @intimatopia, who wasn’t familiar with the characters. They had a very different experience of getting to know Tamaki as a character, through my fic, which was kind of eye-opening for me, and definitely a cool experience.

HARDEST: Thanatos again. This fic was so angsty it was painful to write. I nearly gave up several times.

BIGGEST SURPRISE/S: The reception that The Official Mr Fell Quarantine Thread got really blew me away.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The most frustrating thing I experienced this year was not being able to write out The Sun’s Rays to the length that it deserved. I would love to have a ~5k MiriTamaKiri fluff fic in the world (or 10k, or 20k ...), but I knew that would be biting off more than I could chew.

MOST UNINTENTIONALLY TELLING STORY: Most Grievous Fault, hands down.

FAVOURITE LINES/SCENES: There’s absolutely no way I can choose one favorite line out of 45,500 words, and if I list all my favorites I’ll be here all night. But my favorite underrated joke from The Official Mr Fell Quarantine Thread is the line: “he jacks up the price of anything that anyone seems a little too interested in (seemingly by sleight of hand, like, you'll be holding the book the whole time and go to check the price and it's gone up)”. It just cracks me up to think that the bookshop customers think Aziraphale is skilled at sleight of hand, given Aziraphale’s actual abilities in that regard. But there are two hundred and thirty comments on the fic and no one has mentioned that line.

LINES/SCENES YOU’D CHANGE: In Let the mountains skip with gladness, Aziraphale makes an offhand comment about restarting the universe once humans figure out everything about it. And I get what I was going for (obviously) but it seems callous/OOC for them to joke about ending the world given the context. It’s also a reminder that I’m not that great at writing their banter.

TOP FIVE SCENES YOU WISH WOULD BE ILLUSTRATED (in no particular order):

The demonic binding in No other news to report.

The cat touching Tamaki’s body in Thanatos. Or the kiss between Kirishima and Mirio. Or the cuddling at the end. Really, any scene from Thanatos.

Aziraphale and Crowley mid-swap and mid-intercourse in if spirits embrace. This sounds extremely difficult to draw, ngl, which is why it would be so interesting to see someone try.

Oh my what a question, I was actually talking about this not too long ago with a friend! And the conclusion ended up being that if her invisibility is a permanent mutation he can’t, but if she can turn it off at will then probably he can too! Right now we still don’t know how exactly Tooru’s quirk tho, so we can’t be sure which is the truth! (I like to think she can turn visible if she wants, but that’s just an headcanon with very little basis haha)

Hahahaha yeah it’s one of my top ships in the fandom! Also the only one I read fics for aside from krbk I love them A LOT (and it’s all thanks to my sister who directed my attention towards them a long time ago now, thank you sis) so yeah I’ll definitely draw more of them in the future!!!! WHY YES ANON I think they could be the bestest of pals, I’ve actually drawn them together now and again cause I like the idea of them being friends so much - a list of some of the things Bakugou and Jirou do together:

make fun of Kaminari (Kaminari feels attacked and liked it better when Jirou was convinced she didn’t like Bakugou)

share music recs and go to concerts together (when it’s big ones they particularly care for they stand in line The Whole Day and at first it used to be sorta awkward but now being together makes the hours fly)

mutter sass and snark under their breaths to themselves in class and without meaning make the other snort or have to hide an actual laugh (they sit next to each other in class did you know that that’s my fav thing tbh)

say “god, I’m so fucking gay” and answer “mood” whenever Kirishima and Momo, like, exist or do anything equally outrageous

sit next to each other with their phones in hand in silence and at the same time look up with an intense/bored/obviously-judging-sero-come-on-look-at-them expression whenever anyone walks past them (they’re actually playing bullshit app games)

play bullshit app games in co-op or having each other as friends to earn more rewards cause they have a No-Judging policy going on between them that makes sharing this sort of otherwise embarrassing stuff with each other okay

Actually that’s the first thing I thought when Mirio got his own erased... well, it still depends on what exactly Eri’s quirk does? We sorta assumed she had the same quirk as Chisaki, but they aren’t actually related so who knows? I sure hope she can fix the damage done on Mirio, tho!

It’s okay, don’t worry about that haha but I can’t say I find the theory possible in the least, so I haven’t really spent time thinking about it at all? I mean, I can imagine it would be full of angst and regrets and a lot of tears and anger mostly from his close friends, but since I just can’t believe this theory I can’t say I have anything specific I can give you on this orz sorry!

Actually I dunno man, are they possessive and jealous? I feel like they both would like it when the other told them stuff like “I’m yours” or “you’re mine”, but being there complete and utter trust between them they wouldn’t actually be jealous or act in a possessive way... does that make sense? At most I think they’d be insecure in the beginning of their relationship, but once they managed to make it clear that yes, you’re the one I want, no one else, just you then they would have little to no problems in that sense haha

Yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!! Actually I’ve been thinking about this A LOT in the past couple of days and my conclusion ended up being that the key would be either for Kirishima to know Bakugou since they were really young OR for him to not attend Bakugou’s same middle school? Like, if they developed their personalities together, having someone like Kirishima around since they were kids could have made Bakugou develop differently, but if we go with the “they met in middle school” scenario then I think Kirishima would have had the same sort of...soothing? Effect on Bakugou only if Bakugou didn’t see him as a threat to his dream of being the only kid from that middle school to enter UA. Well, a scenario in which they had known each other since they were small young babies and Bakugou reached middle school going “the only one from this middle school to enter UA is gonna be me and Eijirou”, that would have been hella cute wouldn’t it hahaha growing up with a notion of us instead of just me would have changed Bakugou a lot, I’m pretty sure :D

…Nah. He’s not the only exceptionally good character after all, Deku, Uraraka and Kirishima are right there with him, and Toshi too! Pure characters are a Thing in bnha, which makes sense since they’re all heroes, it’s their job to be good haha

Drew that once as well, they’re so cute~ smallest boy x tallest boy, what a good couple !!

Either way it’s gonna be fun if and when she’ll learn how to make herself visible!

Nah, there’s lotsa people who don’t expect anything from him, Deku’s friends love him a lot~ but yeah his interactions with Kiri are fun, most times it’s just Kiri getting excited and being overly energetic as usual and Deku going “ye-yeah!” with his uncertain face, it’s??? fun??? Seeing the members of the bakusquad interact on friendly terms with the dekusquad is always fun for me exactly for that, Deku’s friends are all so mild compared to Baku’s, you notice the squad’s energy even more like this haha
