Wasn't there something about her wearing an engagement ring at The 100 Con that was held St Patrick’s day weekend but she didn’t want to say who she was engaged to?  That’s March, but today’s release says dating in March, engaged in April. 

Wasn’t there something about her following wedding sites in October and people were speculating she was marrying the guy who played McCreary because that was her public boyfriend at that point? 

I’m just saying the newly released timeline for Beliz@ is as messy as the season seven timeline.

(I am typically pretty forgiving/free-spirited about innocent flirting while you’re in a relationship. the tipping point for me is when that innocent flirting turns into two broken relationships and one very hasty marriage.)

I don’t know what you expect from this but I stand with Arryn. If by some off chance there is reputable proof that her statement is not entirely accurate, I will reassess my thoughts. However, I tend to believe someone who is forthright about the situation as well as the many cast members who have liked Arryn’s tweets and especially those who have replied and reacted by unfollowing Be/iz@.

Imagine seeing two people defend someone from fat shaming, something that many people - including Bob and Eliza - have to deal with, sometimes every single day, something that can mess with someone's head and make them insecure, afraid to post pictures, disgusted with their own body, and lead to not only feeling depressed, but actually being depressed, and getting mad at the two people. If it wasn't so disgusting, I'd think it's funny.

the longer...this disaster continues...the worse I feel for Arryn

like imagine being a in a four year relationship...and standing by your guy while literally thousands of people you don’t even know harass you and tell you your guy is cheating on you and trying to make the relationship work 

and in less than 6 months that guy is married to the girl everyone told you he was cheating on you with...they’re engaged in even less time than that...and they have the audacity to act like it’s no big deal

and the comment that stands out to me the most, that stings the most, is Devon’s. Devon, who hasn’t even been around them in two years. Who would have met Arryn when she was still Bob’s girlfriend, who would have known Eliza when she was seeing someone else.

When it’s not just fans anymore. It’s actual friends and coworkers. Who saw this coming, and then publicly post on twitter about it. Wow. Wow. Thats...that’s a lot. This whole thing is shitty. And I do not wish them happiness.

My opinion on this ship has ~layers. There’s what I think about the relationship as it is in canon: very unbalanced allyship that shouldn’t really be called friendship that stayed remarkably consistent all through the end (which yes, includes Clarke killing him, sns) given how the show kept pulling in three or four difference directions. I especially love the reading of Bellamy projecting his relationship with Octavia on Clarke; it works so, so well for something that seems to be wholly accidental.

Then there’s my opinion of it seen as a legitimatelly romantic option, which is... bitch where?? Where??? Everyone talks about this repressed feelings they have for each other as if these weren’t two individuals who’ve never failed to make a move or jump at a chance to be with someone they wanted, but for some reason they repressed THIS. Okay, sure. Whatever you say. There’s nothing in the show that points to unequivocal romantic feelings, period. And interpretation is free, but you get to a point where a particular reading becomes unsustainable, just saying.

And here’s the thing: from a writing standpoint, it was never going to happen. The conspiracy theories about how the writers did intend to write it as romantic are ridiculous because if that’s true, guess what! They would have fucking written it!! Writers are self-indulgent assholes 99% of the time, and that 1% left are half-assed attempts to compromise that never satisfy an audience. They didn’t put Clarke and Bellamy together because they didn’t see Bellamy and Clarke together (and I wish people stopped brining up that 1x08 script... if that meaningless hint I keep forgetting wasn’t in the show, is because they toyed with the idea and chose to remove it. That tells you everything you need!).

Personally speaking, I would never want unenthusiastic writers in charge of writing my ship. In this cases, I just rather it didn’t happen. Put yourselves in their shoes, people: would you be able to convincingly write two people you just can’t see together in a convincing romance? I wouldn’t, not even if you paid me for it! Why do people assume tv writers should only agree with their view, must agree with their view and see things their way? If it doesn’t happen, it’s better to make peace with it; continue the show if it’s still worthy, and drop it if it’s not. But wanting them to write a ship they despise to cater to others? How can anyone not see the result would not satisfy the shippers??

And at last, there’s my opinion of the ship as a fandom phenomenon, one I’ve had to witness in my own spaces (with several layers of separation from the worst of the worst, bless tumblr’s block feature 🖤): nononononoNONONONONONONONO!!! XDDD. I don’t loathe it as much as I once did because it’s so, so dead (and because I no longer gaf about Bellamy, so his romantic preferences don’t matter to me anymore), but I won’t ever forget this fandom and all it attempted to pull. Never. Apparently they’re trying to make plans to emigrate to other fandoms together and I sincerely hope they don’t end in any of mine. They made this one such a toxic place; not all on their own, ofc, there were other sectors doing their best to suck, but they were the most vocal and most numerous and they were a fucking nightmare. I’ve never been so pleased by a show refusing to cater to a fanbase, and I’m ALWAYS pleased when writers refuse to cater to entitled fanbases.

As a final aside: fuck Beliza shippers especifically. Fuck them. I despise them and their continuous abuse-apologia and cyberbulling with every atom of my body. If Mr. and Mrs. Morley didn’t economically benefit from their chronic stupidity and need for validation (because the way they seem to see it is that hey, they didn’t get Clarke and Bellamy together, but their actors got married!!), I would be perfectly fine with them getting ripped-off for their troubles. They’re the worst of the worst of the Bellarke fanbase in its purest, most concentrated form and it fucking shows. Each of them I see goes straight to the block list, I have no patience for this bullshit. I reiterate: fuck them.

my tags are not good lately. i suppose i’m trying to distance myself from fandom and i know some people find me through tags. also be aware, that asks do not allow me to tag, so i have to post them first before editing. so you might catch them before I tag them, even if i do better with tags. also my internet is shaky and sometimes slows down so that i miss stuff i’m trying to edit. i guess i’m saying i’ll try but i have some technical difficulties.

Can I ask if in future you talk about the beliza allegations or just the actors outside of the show that you use beliza or antibeliza in the tags? I don’t want to use their names or their character names as people often tag their 100 gif sets with that. Ty💜

I won’t ever be talking about B*liza or them as separate people again if I can help it. I want nothing to do with the actors anymore, I’m here for the show and the characters. But, should that change I will absolutely use the tag ‘beliza’ and ‘anti beliza’ for you hun, that’s not a problem at all :)

My previous post was about the show in general. Like for example if I reblog bellarke gifsets, (which- if they get together, there will be a lot) I’ll be using the character names in the tags so if anyone doesn’t want to see them at all on their dash. I hope that makes sense. <3 

I don't know if Echo is brainwashed, or if she's faking it. But either way, I'm pissed at fandom. Brainwashing is not a light thing, it's heavy manipulation. And I'm 100% sure that if Bellamy or Octavia were in her position, they would all be screaming about how sad it is and how hopefully the character will be saved from it. But since it's Echo, she just gets "I hope she dies" or "I hope Bellamy dumps her for what she did". I'm just tired of the mindless hate.

When Arryn’s letter was released I decided to block anyone who showed themself to be a terrible person.  That was just not a mindset I was willing to have on my dash or in a tag when I viewed it, and it didn’t matter what content they put out or how much they reblogged from me.  Since then the amount of Echo hate I see has dropped sharply.  Turns out people who hate women hate women.  I’m not going to change them, but they aren’t going to change me, either. 

Block them.  Cut them off.  Leave them isolated in their misogyny tornadoes with their non-canon ship and their bitterness. There are two months left and there’s no reason to put up with anyone throwing handfuls of bullshit at you for any of that time. 

Ugh, where to start?! 1. JRoth likes his ego fed but I don't think he's that bad. 2. Memori might have been good for each other at one point but not anymore! Not handling their horrible treatment of each other in S5 soured me fully & I wish they stayed broken up. 3. Bellarkers often only like other characters if they stan Clarke or can be twisted into being read as "bellarke shippers" aka Roan/Wells. Otherwise those characters are crapped on. 4. I don't get the obsession with Beliza -it's weird.

1. I generally agree, yeah. I find him kind of insufferable, but I’m not like, always pissed off at him like a lot of folks are. He’s mostly fine. I’m very “meh” about him.

2. I do think Memori’s reconnection was rushed a bit, and that there should have been more between them besides the single conversation we saw them have in the s5 finale. I still ship it, though. I’ve never really needed a ship to be healthy, and I don’t find their dynamic quite as terrible as some of the other couples (Kabby and B/C come to mind.)

3. Absolutely true. The entire idea that the other characters would even give a shit about B and C getting together is absurd to me. There is so much more going on, and nobody outside of the mains has noticed or cared much at all about the relationship they have, other than how exploitable it is. Certain shippers really love to project onto side characters, because they want to believe that the entire universe (both on the show, and on a greater level) is pulling for B and C to bang.

4. I also definitely don’t get the B3liza obsession, and I’ve generally been uncomfortable with it. There’s a lot of very shady details behind-the-scenes, indicating one or both of them may have cheated on their previous partners. That makes it extra awkward, and I think it would’ve been bad enough without that factor. I do get why shippers go nuts for it, though - it’s real-life wish fulfillment, for what is either a yet to be fulfilled slowburn, or a terribly mishandled platonic connection. I just don’t feel it, at all, and I’m always sort of wishing we could go back to the way fandom was before they got married. It wasn’t a good fandom, it hasn’t been for a long time, but it was better than it is now.
