ML writers: Using the miraculous for evil overrides the security system and causes harm to the underaged holder.
Hm, interesting... I don't recall "more evil than a literal terrorist" Chloe ever being harmed using the bee miraculous. So by your own logic, she was never truly evil to begin with.
ML writers, your bullshit is becoming even more transparent than it's already been for years.

So, apparently, an adult supervillain whose been terrorizing a city for years, rarely actually shows remorse for his actions and is also a neglectful and controlling parent because of the “death” of his wife is “sympathetic” and “redeemable”
but a teenage girl whose a bully because she has an abusive mother who constantly belittled her and can’t even remember her own name that she so desperately wants the approval of and a father who just spoils her to death, who showed remorse for her actions at times and was actually on the road to changing and becoming a better person after becoming a superhero before it was taken all away from her at the last second is “irredeemable” and “absolutely evil”.
Thomas Astruc’s logic is absolutely ridiculous.

Tumblr media
I'm still tired of Miraculous Ladybug. However, I got bored, so I made this. Enjoy this meme.

Let's be honest, Marinette and the rest of the characters put more effort into trashing Chloe herself than into actually helping (And they still have the nerve to say they were trying to help when in reality all they said was "Be nice" and nothing else, it's a strong attempt to avoid making an effort to help, which the person needs)
Yes, I'm pissed, that's why there are so many posts, but seriously, the fandom still believes that the characters tried to help Chloe and it's all her fault because she didn't accept "Help", too bad it wasn't even help (This song fits so well)
youtube
Yes, I get annoyed with people in the fandom who say that the characters tried, it's bullshit, they didn't do anything to help her (And that's why they put more effort into destroying her than actually helping her), and empty words are things anyone can say

You know what? I’m gonna say it: Thomas Astruc is just the gender-flipped version of VivziePop!

It’s just so bizarre that Thomas really wants us to care more about a school bully traumatizing Marinette than a full grown gaslighting butterfly adult terrorist who basically FORCED her into the hero role, just because he was a sawd babu who wanted his wifiey back…by manipulating everybody’s emotions and taking an advantage of them. That especially included children and his OWN SON.

All the people who are like, “the show is better than the movie because the show develops the characters more blah blah blah” sound exactly like Thomas lmao. Have we been watching the same show? Is this character development in the room with us right now?

As an Adrien stan who used to defend his writing back during season 3, I take everything back. I feel so sorry about the way he’s been treated by the writers—always put aside, always unaware of what’s happening even when it specifically concerns him.
“It’s better that he doesn’t know that his father was a villain.”
No, it isn’t. Marinette doesn’t get to decide that, Adrien does. He deserves to know that his father was an abuser. Gabriel doesn’t deserve to be remembered as a hero. I wasn’t expecting, nor did I want it, that Gabriel was going to be exposed to everyone because that would’ve reflected badly on Adrien, so I would understand if Marinette wanted to protect him from that. What it’s not fair is keeping him in the dark.
“But Adrienette is finally canon, aren’t you happy?”
As a hardcore Lovesquare fan since season 1, I absolutely am not. I wanted their relationship to be about honesty and trust. Why would I, as an Adrien stan, want him next to a person who’s lying to him? Who will likely be lying to him for the rest of their lives? Mind you, I’m not blaming Marinette (I love her even more than I love Adrien); I’m blaming the writing. For having us believe that any sort of criticism of the show comes from a place of misunderstanding of the canon material, because God forbid someone has an opinion that doesn’t align with the writers’ idea.
Anyways, Marinette and Adrien deserved so much better. Everyone did.

Realized I treat HH and HB the same way I treat MLB MHA and AOT
I like the characters and the concept but the creators are terrible people and they suck ass at writing so I end up rewriting it and making it my own thing

After watching Pluto on Netflix last week and then look at Thomas Asstruc who’s gonna direct Astro boy and probably release for the next year:
Tumblr media
This is second times Astro boy get adaptation in western version (read: Astro boy movie 2009) which to be honest is kinda decent.
Meanwhile Thomas asstruc who doesn't seem promising due to what he done in Miraculous had become a proof of how depraved and incompetent he is in making shows for children. Can’t wait, who’s getting vilified and double standards for justifying his another imaginary children in his version.

I think my main problem with Gabriel in the show is that at it’s core he keeps proving over and over again he loves Emilie more than he loves Adrien.
He attempted to akumatize Adrien (the only reason he couldn’t is because Adrien suddenly felt better) and the show gave us two examples that if Gabriel ever found out Cat Noir is actually his son, he wouldn’t hesitate for even a single second to use Adrien as a tool to get his wife back.
Thanks to the s5 finale not having a Cat Noir and Hawk Moth showdown at all (which is like the literal lowest barest of minimums you’d expect from an arc like this, yet they failed at even that) those “what if“ scenarios are officially the only ones we have, and both of them prove Gabriel’s an awful father.
Even with his “sacrifice“ he didn’t give a shit how it could possibly affect Adrien. At the end of the day Gabriel left his son without a father (and possibly without a mother, it’s still vague wheter the woman is Emilie or Amelie, because apperently even Asstruck can’t make up his mind) and his death wish was to make his son live in a lie of what a “good father“ he was (footage not found).
Side note: I mean death wish as a general thing where people make a final wish on their death beds, we still have no idea what his exact wish for Gimmi was.
That’s probably what moved me so much with movie Gabriel. There it’s a lot more obvious his love for Emilie and Adrien are equal, because the literal second he realized he’d been beating the living hell out of his own son, he stops. He also wants his wife back as much as show Gabriel, but the key difference is in the movie he refuses to do it at the cost of his son.
Obviously the cliffhanger ending scene leaves a lot of unanswered questions, but at least judging on this movie alone, he’s miles better than what they did with his character in the show.
And especially with show Adrien canonically being a sentimonster now and Emilie using the peacock miraculous to create him is what caused her “death“ in the first place, kinda makes me wonder if Gabirel unconsciously hates Adrien because of this, wheter he realizes it or not.

" You need to be patient because Season-X will be better "
" You need to be patient because the show is not over and there are 6969 Season that coming soon "
" Season-W maybe bad but I believe they will fix it in Season-X "
" There are MORE season guys... sooo~ wait for Season X, Y, Z "
" I still optimist because other writer will redeem it in next Season "
Tumblr media
Maaaan~ Just shut up and stop being dumb to give a hope for a shit-show will be redeem like you already know the past season already PLENTY inconsistency, retcon and so-on, with the writer doesn't give a shit about criticism because he believe his fans are brainless shipper and young kids so who cares about consistency as long as your ship is sail in WORSE way possible.
They will "Redeem" it by stealing the fan theory, fanfiction, fanart, retcon the show, make unnecessary "multiverse" by claim it as "already planned it from beginning"
" If you hate it so don't watch it "
Alright, I already leave the show and doesn't give a fuck about the show or your headcanon to prove how "deep" the shit show it is

Chloe's character assassination may have started after S3 finale, but Marinette's character assassination started after S2 finale.
I mean, girl went from having the courage to kiss Adrien in the cheek and having progress as a character, to teaming up with her bully to bully another girl, kiss his wax statue in public place, and broke into his house twice in one season.

The Current State of Miraculous Ladybug Season 5 finale.
Tumblr media
I've recently watched the finale of season five of Miraculous Ladybug, and I must say that my disappointment is immeasurable. There are more issues within this finale than with the Gabriel Redemption, like having Marinette lie to Adrien again, which undermines her development in S4-S5 to trust in others, not giving more insight into Emilie's character after seven years in the show run, and writing out Adrien even though his existence is significant to the overall lore of series, and partly is the motivation for the main villain, Gabriel.
I could mention more issues within this season. Like, for example:
The waste of potential of Zoe's character, Felix's rush redemption arc, killing off the ship Marichat, Lila being a spy, the romance pacing behind Kagami and Felix, the b******* rules of time travel, giving Ladybug and Chat the ability to never de-transform, the entire existence of the episode of Derision, not having a scene of Chat revealing his identity to Ladybug without the presence of Gabriel quote on quote always watching aka Marinette's excuse, or how Thomas thought that letting Chloe get disowned by her father to live with her emotionally abusive & neglectful mother was a good idea.
You think that Zoe, who dealt with the same emotional neglect by their mother, would say something about Chloe living with their mother, but she doesn't because the writers couldn't afford good writing skills.
I can mention more. However, I'm so tired of Miraculous constant terribleness that I don't want to watch and think about this show for a while.

Seriously, giving Chloe the advice "Be nice" is like giving the advice "Don't be sad" to someone with severe depression
In both cases, it is alleged that the person did not want to accept help and it was all their fault
