Il titolo ed il testo di questo brano fanno riferimento ai soggetti pittorici noti come 'nature morte'. Tuttavia, mentre la still life immortala per sempre un oggetto sulla tela, è come se donasse al soggetto rappresentato quell'eternità che il modello stesso non avrà mai.
Nell'Indigo Magazine Film, Namjoon ha fatto l'esempio di una natura morta raffigurante una composizione floreale: i fiori che hanno offerto lo spunto per l'opera sono destinati ad appassire
e svanire, ma vivranno per sempre nel quadro che li rappresenta.
In quanto figura pubblica e celebrità, RM si sente sempre sotto lo sguardo attento del pubblico, immortalato per sempre in innumerevoli foto e video, come una still life. Ma, a differenza delle nature morte, lui si sente vivo ed è in costante movimento. Nel titolo e nel testo, gioca quindi ironicamente col senso letterale del termine (still life = natura inanimata/morta, ma anche, letteralmente: still/ancora + life/in vita); motivo per cui ho deciso, a mia volta, di tradurre l'espressione alternativamente isolando gli elementi che la compongono e/o in senso più letterale
