#i think im so wacko nuts about him bc he literally came out of nowhere#like what are the chances we met in the first place....#like ..... its one thing to meet in university right after high school ok but.... its extra weird when its both your 2nd career#and you're at community college#then find out you went to the same university at the same time but 2 years apart#then worked for a bit.. only to realize AT THE SAME TIME that maybe this career isnt for you and that maybe comp sci is It instead#then we end up taking the same electives. and we tend to sit in the same areas of the classroom#and we're both always early and end up alone before class and end up talking#or we both park in a similar place in the parking lot and end up walking together after class#and o ya getting the same grades. having the same gpa. LIKE WHERE DID HE COME FROM??????#and then its like .... he reciprocates. like we're friends. im just. what the FUCK JDJDJJDJDJD#ya im just....... idk. idk. who is this guy JDJDJDJDJDJDM#i wonder too if he has the same like. Haha! Didn’t you know? I’m the community’s meemaw/peepaw! I am not ready to live the single mom life, but I will gladly be a stand in grandma/weird aunt for those in need of a safe space. It’s the time of year where I always have a fresh pumpkin pie cooling on the stove, warm tea to clam the soul, and my cat Heidi (aka lil’ Bean) to curl up on the laps of wayward visitors. My first time watching Glass Onion it was obvious that Miles' speeches were bullshit, but I still searched for any hidden meaning there might be.
The second time is a different experience though because every time my brain starts to search for meaning, I feel like Benoit Blanc discovering that no, there is absolutely no hidden meaning.
It's bullshit it's all nothing nothing nothing! It is just how you end up talking when everyone reacts to your self-aggrandizing word vomit like it is actually wisdom.
Also, legit, when Miles gave his stupid bullshit speech about what the word 'disruptor' means to him, I shit you not I was like holy shit am I back in business school right now?!
Miles must have given speeches like that at 100 business school graduations, goddamn.
Like, the motherfuckers really do sound like this. We didn't have any billionaires come, but we had a lot of millionaire guest speakers in my classes, and they fucking talk like that.
They all think they're rugged capitalists, but they're just glass onions!

Guess who applied for college??
#me! it me#i was supposed to go to college in 2020. but the college i was supposed to go to went bankrupt#seriously. during spring break i got an email that basically said 'surprise! the future you thought you had? its gone! fuck you!'#by this point it was too late to apply to any more colleges for the year. so i decided to take a gap year#that one year turned into four. and here i am#i liked working full time. i had a good job in a kitchen. i was doing well for myself#but i always regretted not going to college#i was going to go to become an asl interpreter. this college was one of the best in the country for asl interpreting#but today i was bored at work. and my sibling has been encouraging me to apply tothe nearby community college#and they have an interpreting program! so i applied#and i might actually go to college in january#thats wild. thats honestly wild. i didnt expect that#after this long i kind of resigned myself to job hopping for the rest of my life#just taking whatever job would take me that didnt need a degree#but i want more than that. so we're gonna go to college!#im worried. scared. apprehensive. etc#but mostly im proud of myself for taking this step#school is hard. and i havent been in school for years. so i guess we'll see how that goes#i hope you're having a wonderful day 💙💙💙

I'm sure there's some shortsightedness to it#because I'm speaking largely from my own experience with it. so obviously there's an implicit perspective bias there#but like. turns out when you're dissociated from your body it can be hard to enjoy certain body activities.#I'm mostly over showers now. it's way easier to see myself the way I want to be. still things I want fixed. but things are livable.#but yeh. sex is difficult when you're at war with your skin.#also. why do people do poppers. your head spin for a minute and you smell organic solvent for a while. my head spins all the time#like. “it's just like sniffing glue” bro why do people sniff glue I don't get that either“.#“it's like being drunk for a short time” I don't get why people do that either.#throwback to that time someone said I needed to not become an alcoholic and I just pointed to my four month old vodka bottle in the fridge.#idk. there's a use for it. alcohol is a CNS depressant and I love it for that. but only sometimes is that necessary.#anyway. I'm curious to try other substances but I fully expect to walk away going “eh.
