Me at like ~14 years old, listening to Pentatonix's Daft Punk Medley and hearing Avi Kaplan's "ohhhhh yeah" vocal bass slide:

"Oh wow, I hope this doesn't awaken anything in me!"

#I haven't wached PTX's Daft Punk Medley in *years* but I remember decent chunks of the arrangement #and the visuals of course #Voiceplay's upcoming video gives me Daft Punk Medley vibes (the thumbnail kinda does anyway) so have this joke I've been sitting on #Avi was never really my type but obviously he's one of the best (*ONE* of the best) bass vocalists out there #And I used to be a big fan of Pentatonix #Plus other acapella artists like Straight No Chaser; Jon Cozart; and Peter Hollens #Which was probably a big influencing factor in Voiceplay popping up in my Recommended feed back in 2019 #So yeah #Pentatonix #PTX #Daft Punk Medley #Avi Kaplan #acaplaya ramblings

once i was in a creative writing class in college, and in a bit of humor i wrote the line:

"Um," I said, eloquently.

And my teacher was so adamant that I had to remove it because "um is not an eloquent word, so it makes no sense" and i was like my brother in christ it's called Irony

#she was so so adamant about it like.#ma'am.#specifically i did it that way because i wanted to express the fact that the character felt particularly foolish #like their brain being all like 'oh nice job what an eloquent way of putting it dumbass'#but without writing all that out ya know.#but no it was 'wrong' and it had to be removed :/#creative writing courses have never done a damn thing for me tbh #i know there has got to be a better way to teach it so that it doesn't quash someone's creativity #but i have yet to find one that does so #people are so weird about writing as an art compared to other visual arts :/#lulu talks

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #nobodies #dusk #sniper #reaper #ninja #gambler #berserker #sorcerer #my gif #i'm a nobody enjoyer so of course i'm gonna make another set with them #nobodies are so reflective in this game i wonder if it they were originally intended to look this way #it would have been difficult to visually convey that in the old engine since lighting and shadows were all drawn onto the texture map #but that's not an issue anymore since there are far less lighting and graphical restrictions #anyways i'm glad we got a couple new nobodies #because their designs rule #i love how the one that represents marluxia can morph its body to look like the pod that sora slept in at castle oblivion #while the one that represents larxene has flowy scarf tails that are reminiscent of her unique hairstyle. the knife hands are cool

You might think that Southdown babydolls are my favorite sheep considering how often I reference them..... but leicesters are my favorite sheep for sure .. I'm very partial to the really pronounced Roman nose look in sheep

A homage to a special memory.#Thank you for giving me this opportunity! Seeing your icon (Goemon) has been a true treat in my notifs this last year.#Yes I was a Lupin fan this whole time! I started with part 5 so I am not a particularly old fan.#(I had a little bonus comic to go with this of the rest of the crew but I ran out of time to polish it up...perhaps another day.)#For everyone else; I highly recommend watching 'A Women Named Fuijko Mine'. Mind the content warnings though.#It is very dark but a really *really* fantastic deconstruction on the femme fatale archetype. Not to mention visually stunning.#Castle of Cagliostro is a good recommendation if you want something more lighthearted.#And with that...raffle week has come to a close! Given the objectively correct results of the Smash Bros. Sexyman contest, how do you think Luigi(and Mario too, why not) would go about rejecting someone? I think it’s time to start being realistic with myself and accept that both bros would visibly wince at the mere sight of me 🥲

Nah, Mario and Luigi have encountered some of the wildest looking freaks conceivable. If I know anything, it's that they are not going to wince at the sight of someone who isn't conventionally attractive.

But as far as rejection goes, I think Luigi would go about it very carefully. He appreciates the sentiment, but would feel the need to gently explain why he doesn't return the feelings, taking every precaution to ensure whoever's crushing on him walks away with as few hurt feelings as possible. He would then proceed to feel bad about it all day. Mario has less tact. He wouldn't feel any pressure to explain himself, but he would make it clear the entire time that– though he doesn't return the romantic feelings– he still highly values that person as a friend.
