There are so many things I adore about Gwynriel, but right now I'm particularly loving how Azriel -- the stoic and stony Spymaster of the Night Court -- is repeatedly amused by Gwyn. And you know what they all say about how sharing a similar sense of humor is important for a thriving relationship...

Are they in love right now? OF COURSE NOT! No one, NO ONE is claiming that they are head over heels in love with each other right now. But do I see their relationship developing into eventual love and acceptance of each other? Hell yes!

I find it interesting that Azriel was so self-conscious of his scarred hands around Elain, thinking himself sullied, but around Gwyn he was so completely relaxed that he didn't even think about his hands. He even had to fight back the urge to "open up her wrist and rotate the blade" (which he obviously didn't do out of respect for her personal boundaries). Like he was willing to make physical contact with her to demonstrate how to do the move correctly (and no, not in a skinship or sexual manner, but just pointing out how he could be around Gwyn without hiding himself).

Azriel doesn't need to be fixed.

Gwyn doesn't need to be fixed.

They need acceptance, and I believe they can find that in each other.

I still firmly maintain that Gwynriel is endgame but if the stars misalign and the sun rises from the west, I will still be a Gwynriel shipper. I have shipped non-canon couples in other media before. My love for them burns just as bright nonetheless.

Yes, Alear behaves like the child they are ! they are 17 year old for God's sake, they are thinking with their amygdalia !! This is what this scene is trying to establlish and by the reaction you all have it did it incredibly well !!!

Alear literaly got stolen from them the 6 rings that they spend all the game collecting. All of them !!!! With the rings he stole, Sombron is at 2 rings of reaching his objective and to destroy Elyos !!!!!! The world is so close to be doomed because of this !! And Alear losing the rings mean losing their emotional supports and the one thing that helped them feel braver. Alear is someone who is 17 year old, they are amnesiac, they just woke from coma, they are weak, unaware of the world, they showed they were scarred by the Corrupted and fear to not being ready to fight them and Sombron yet, Marth's presence is what helped them defeat them, if it weren't for Alfred's arrival they wouldn't have been able to handle the castle's attack, they didn't had the time to prepare when Lumera died, they saw their mother dying right in front of their freaking eyes to protect them and were thrown into a bitter war in that state when they didn't even had the time to properly mourn her, are in a state where they clearly aren't ready and are very dependent of other, notably Marth !! Of course, of freaking course they are acting as their character are !! As a teenager who has been living all of this and got it pushed into them as the successor of their mother when they aren't ready yet, of course they are going to show immaturity !!! That's the freaking point of this scene, showing Alear's flaws !!!

HOW THE HECK DO YOU WANNA KNOW THE FLAWS OF A CHARACTER IF THEY NEVER SHOW THEM ?!

That's the whole point of this freaking scene !! Alear is literaly desesperate to know that they failed to fufill the promise they made Lumera to colllect all the rings and prevent Sombron's faction to collect them before they do !!!! They lost the Emblems whom they consider to be their friends !! Did you see the face of absolute terror they have upon seeing Sombron summoning Marth ?! How do you want them to react exactly ?! To brush it off as if they are some sort of Superman ?! They aren't !! They are just a normal person, a teenager that is pushed into this when they are amnesiac and desoriented !!! This is incredible that this comes from the same people who keep saying that Alear isn't a relatable protag because of their deity status (which is quite ironic considering Engage's message about birth not mattering) when they are literaly reacting like anyone their age would in a situation where they got stolen from them the one thing that might threatened the balance of the world when used with ill intent knowing that they have a whole world weighting on their shoulder when theya re 17 amnesiac and didn't even had the time to mourn their mother who DIED TO PROTECT THEM RIGHT AFTER LEARNING SHE GAVE ALL HER LIFE FORCE SO THAT THEY CAN SURVIVE AND FEELING GUILTY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!

Don't get me started on how they also just learned that Veyle whom they considered a friend was on Sombron's side, killed their mother and are incredibly disturbed by how differently she behaved !!! Or the fact that a 1000 years earlier, they were speaking like a child because their trauma got them frozen in their age resulting in them using the alphabet of a 10 year old !!

"Why do you ask her to give you back the rings ? Are you stupid You think she will give it back ?" OF COURSE NOT THEY DON'T !!! This dialogue exist to SHOW Alear is desesparated !!!!!!! It's not based on logic or anything, it's just to convey their freaking emotions of being desesperated !!!

It's absolutely jarring that people keep acting as if the story never showed Alear as evovling or failing at being brave ! There. There it is! Look at the terror on their face and how they are falling to their knees, begging Sombron to stop in a sign of desesperation !! There they are ! Can you really not look at this scene and see that Alear is failing at being brave ?! They are overwhelmed by the situation. This is the most angry you will ever see them in the entire game !!!! Yet "they don't evolve, their so called frail character and fear is just narrative gaslighting "and yadi yada WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER ?!

It took them 10 chapter to realize that they were too imature yet. It took them 10 more chapter to have Alfred comment on how far Alear went and how they finally seemed to have stepped into their role as a leader and deity figure. It took them 25 chapter to show how much they evolved from their mother dying in chapter 3, begging for her to not die and leaving them alone as they REVERT FREAKING BACK TO SPEAK LIKE A CHILD and being so marked by it that Lumera won't stop haunting the narrative, to chapter 25 were they had to take her down while Lumera was still refering to chapter 2, the only moment the two of them spent as family, with them actually accepting what's comming and refusing to cry anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What constitutes as 'being a daft cunt'? Changes drastically depending on amount of tickets. Fucking with his staff is a sure fire way tho. Just try to harass the waitress, pal, he will come out of the kitchen with a knife. The common one, not his personal, of course, that shit's expensive and almost a family member at this point. Surpisingly haven't been in jail. Yet. Doesn't drink energy drinks, weirdo.

Johnny? Dishie. Not nessessarily because he lacks qualifications, but (almost) every good cook starts as a dishie or prep. Batshit fucking insane, works shirtless with waterproof apron. Beloved by everyone, if kitchen fucked up and made an extra of something, it will most likely go to either the waitress that the cook got hots for, or him. On probation, will brag about it. Eats and smokes in one go, doesn't care that his food tastes like ash. Chugs that redbull like he's paid for it, is partially correct. Has been seen to just devour a loaf of bread, when questioned, called it his lunch.

Pretty boy Kyle? Hot kitchen, suprisingly. Man's damn good at his job and still got the stamina and passion for it. Hands are covered in burn and cut scar, some still fresh. Doesn't talk much, except with the waitresses, flirts shamelessly. The only person who can teach a newbie on which end one holds a knife, because chill vibes personified and probably won't scream at them lmao. If he had troubles with the law, it's probably MJ. Makes fucking unholy concoction with coffee from the bar and energy drink. Experiments with food at home constantly, loves eating bougie shit, but doesn't have a lot of time for it.

John Price? Not chef (idk how it's called in English, the main guy on the kitchen who does menues and shit), surprisingly, although almost there. Sous chef, most likely, because he has less paperwork and can be on the grounds and manage stuff more effectively. Takes desserts, at first just to fill in because they couldn't find a dessert cook, got used to it after a while, is predictably damn good. A literal God of machinery, shit seems to be afraid to break under his watch. Had problems with the law, but it's all in the past, nowadays he just 'knows a guy'. Doesn't fuck with energy drinks because he was chugging that shit when he was young and now got lowkey heart problems because of it. At home eats as simple as possible, sandwiches are his go-to, because his fuck rations about food are depleted at this point and he saves the reserves for work. Fucked up his taste buds with smoking habit, orders everyone to taste his dish if nessessary.

Their hair is LONG and LUSCIOUS!! They love their Sunday night hair routines, and they'd love for you to partake in their self care evening. The two of you can do face masks, take turns washing each other's hair (share a bubble bath perhaps). They'll tilt their head back and let you run a comb through it. You can braid it if you want to! A also gives incredible massages, so they'll want to give you one. Hand, foot, back, full body, whatever you want!!

If you're standing over their head, they'll turn to blow a raspberry in your stomach and make you giggle. Their eyes are open, even as you warn them that you'll get soap in their eyes. It's the only time you've seen C without this burst of energy. Their eyes begin to droop, and you can feel a slightly raised scar on their scalp. If you ask them about it, they'll tell you about the car accident they had when they were 11. Cracked their head open and nearly killed them. C is just thankful the hair grew in enough to hide the bald spot. When you kiss their nose, it'll wrinkle and C will tell you that it tickles.

But he lies. Every night in bed you feel his side dip, a sigh escaping his lips. His back is always to you, yours always to his. Your covered up in the scraggly blanket James got you for christmas. It’s easy to recognize the sound of Remus slipping on his boots. You’ve heard it all before, after all. He doesn’t know you lie awake next to him. Or maybe he does, but chooses to not say anything.

The worst part is that you can’t even be mad at him. You’ve only been together two years now, it should hurt more, but there’s something about this whole situation that was predictable from the start. Remus has always been close with Sirius, after all. But even then—the sound of him pushing off the bed, springs clanking, only makes you hug yourself closer.

He’s already at the door, peaking it open when you speak. “Remus,” It’s a whisper. A plea of his name. He doesn’t jump, or freeze, he turns. Even with the light of the crescent outside you can only make out the jagged scar across his face—but you know his expression by heart now. “Sirius?”

He sighs. You nod. “I’ll see you when you come back.”

“I’m sorry.” And he is. But you only manage a shake of your head, turning over in your shared bed so he can only see your back. “Y/n—”

His hand is still wrapped around the door knob, the only noise you can hear is the wind whistling outside. But even that is dulled. You take your answer in his silence and nod. “Alright.”

“Wait—” He’s back-tracking and for a moment you swear his feet scrape against the wooden floor.

“Go to him, Remus.”

It hurts less to let him go than to endure anymore. And of course you still love Remus, and always will. But the way he intakes a sharp breath at the permission is enough for you to know this is what he wants. “I’m sorry Y/n,” Is his answer. The creaking of the door opening fills the room. “I still love you.”

1) toji: my FAVORITE character of ALL TIME and yes i do mean ALL TIME from ANY series… and i’ll tell you why… i have been BEGGING on my hands and knees for a MEAN HOT DILF ASSASSIN IN MEDIA FOR SO FUCKING LONG… and there like a beacon of light in the shadows was toji fushiguro… mean. hot. sexy. looks like he could and would step on me and kick my ass. also very sexy. just everything i wanted all rolled into one <3 and i also legitimately love love LOVE his character arc & backstory so much! heavenly restriction was PERFECT for him and i love that he genuinely fucked shit up + distorted fate… he came out the gate SWINGING!!!!!! also just the fact that he also Genuinely loved his wife and was truly a better man for her & himself and then she died… oh that’s just heartbreaking. him naming megumi “blessings” because names have meaning and megumi was truly his blessing… man i love toji so much. so so SO much. he’s sooooo multi-faceted and i love that no matter what at the end of the day, BOTH TIMES, his last memories were of his son and wanting to protect him. god i love toji <3 also elite character design i Love his scar & his massive tits and also. his spiky hair. 5) suguru: hate this bitch in canon but love this bitch in kanon (kairo canon) <333 he’s a very. interesting character. i disagree w his entire logic and i personally find it foolish (maybe bc i’m a toji & maki truther and love heavenly restriction above all else) but suguru truly is soooo fascinating. even as a high schooler pre-defection he considered non-sorcerers weak and something that sorcerers had to “protect” i think that suguru is very very VERY paternal and i think that influences a lot of his decisions… he’s a literal PATRIARCH in his cult family + he’s technically nanamimi’s dad + he wants to usher in a new age simply to protect those he loves but what he fails to realize is that… he just creates more chaos! he was his own downfall at the end of the day and i do think that no matter if satoru/shoko intervened that he still would have defected i just think he was doomed from the start… you don’t just ingest curses and then not be affected by it y’know? i think eventually he also would have been consumed by negativity the same way he consumes negativity (curses) and ultimately? he was. he’s a wonderful character to me in that he makes me feel genuine anger at certain times and at other times i just feel pity! i love him. he makes me think & feel a lot of things which is why i Write for him 😭 you’re probably wondering well why is he 5th/8th if you write for him the most??? idk maybe he should be theoretically first but i just. like him in my brain more than i do in canon i think he’s unlikable in canon to me but he’s also my skrunkly… i have duality ok i love him i dislike him i want him carnally

The SRJ Club [Beginnings of the Cabinet Man AU]

The club is absolutely roaring with noise, from music to hooting and yelling to the pounding of bodies in a wild dance. Lloyd covers his pointed ears and tucks in their tail, the tip already bruised from one laughing player swinging right over it. 

What should reek of sweat, perfume, and fizzy pop drinks instead somehow smells of fresh rainfall and snappy mint. Bright lights strobe to the rhyme of the bouncing instruments, reflecting off clouds of grey and blue fog from the smoke machines positioned around the stage. Blue sparks crackle around the air without hurting players, one of the many quality-of-life perks of the game.

“Okay, team,” Nya has to raise her voice over the music to be heard, and Lloyd’s grateful she’s taken over for him— they can barely hear themselves think over all this noise. “Let’s keep on track. We’re here for information on the Keytan— KAI!”

Lloyd’s brother has already been swept away by the crowd, yanked into the taffy field of dancing players. Nya storms after him.

A strobe light flashes in Lloyd’s eyes and they hiss to himself, rubbing them. Cole leans down and nudges him, foot tapping to the beat. “Hey. You can lower the game volume in your settings.”

Blinking in surprise, Lloyd pulls up their player settings. Cole directs him to volume controls, and suddenly the bustling music club is more manageable for the teen(?) to handle. 

They crack a small, fanged smile. “Thanks, Cole.”

Cole shoots him a two-fingered salute before going back to vibing to the beat.

Nya drags her dizzy brother back over. “Okay. As I was saying, we’re here for information on the Keytana only. Scott said there was an NPC we could get info from. We’re looking for someone called—“

Microphone tapping catches Lloyd’s ear, the tip twitching like a cat. They turn, squinting up at one of the elevated stages. On it stands one of the club NPCs, and at once, the music cuts to a deep, quiet backing track, the strobe lights dimming. The crowd simmers, attention trained to the stage.

“Are you ready for the star of the show?” the NPC shouts into the mic. 

The crowd cheers. One player climbs onto the soda bar counter in wild excitement, others shooting blaster-like party poppers into the club’s ceiling.

The NPC on stage swings around the mic. “It’s time for the arrival of our hero, our inspiration, the reason for our very existence… Superstar Rockin’ Jay himself!”

If Lloyd thought the crowd was loud before, it simply erupts now. The four ninja are swept into the swarm, bodies jostling as everyone surges forward for a better view of the stage. Lloyd yanks their tail to one side before it can get squeezed in the dense mob, shying into the sides of his older brother and sister. 

At once, all the lights in the club cut out, leaving them in the darkness of an outage. All noise quiets in an instant. Lloyd waits for confused whispers to break out, moments from voicing their own confusion, but the horde of players all seem to hold their breath in excitement, not panic. Lloyd tilts his head, fingers twitching with anticipation.

A blue spotlight bursts to life, then a second, and a third, all pointed at one spot on the stage. The fog machines chug to life, pouring more fog around the shining stage. With a hiss, a trapdoor opens and a platform rises up.

Standing on the platform is an NPC with a glowing blue and yellow electric guitar. The spotlights reflect off glowing yellow markings on a dark blue top, open to reveal a light blue chest with glittering top surgery scars and small darker triangle patterns up one side. A white belt, tied like a ninja’s gi, hangs around his waist, the ends flapping over glowing blue rings on his pants. Heeled yellow boots tap the stage, echoing over the quiet club.

Bright orange eyes open in a jagged mask-like marking of darker blue skin with freckles, and fluffy white hair sweeps over them. Pointed ears twitch, catching the faint track of music. When the NPC grins, wide and bright, fangs glint in his mouth.

“HEY PLAYERS!” He calls, voice amplified like a microphone by the game as he snaps his fingers with the glimmer of blue sparks. “ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?”

“YEAH!” The crowd screams back.

The NPC turns his head, cupping a hand dramatically around his pointed ear as he holds the guitar neck higher with his other hand. “I couldn’t hear that. ARE YOU READY TO SUPER ROCK?”

“YEAH!!!” The crowd screams back louder.

With a pose as striking as lightning, the NPC pulls his arm over his head, poised over his guitar. “ARE YOU READY TO SUPERSTAR ROCK?!”

If this guy asks one more time, Lloyd’s sure he’s going to lose it.

The mob of players already have, breaking into wordless cheers that blend into a single untuned noise. The breakneck energy and hype in the room is choking, electrified.

With a wild cheer of his own, the NPC strikes the first chord of his guitar, and the performance begins.

I love how overstimulated Lloyd is depicted here, that definitely fits with my HC for how he’d be acting rn (that’s why he’s not really the one to engage with Jay in the comic, Cole is) and the way Jay hypes the crowd up!!!! So good!!! The descriptions of the club are so nice, I’m still trying to plan out exactly what the club’s gonna look like (we don’t see much of it in the actual show which is TRAGIC) but I love the idea that because of the game it’s a completely pleasant place to be in, eliminating many of the cons of going to a club in real life

You ran you ran as fast as you can from that place your dad was drunk again and he hit you made scars on your body everywhere and you pushed your dad away and ran he ran after but stopped and yelled to you not to come back you didn't know how far you were running but you were hungry and hurt and our if breath you saw this place and you ran in thinking your dad saw you and you than closed the door fast and put your back against it and closed your eyes little did you know it is the ADA office you yourself had a power you than fell down you were tired and than you heard a voice and someone touch you, You got scared and moved the person back covering your face you than looked and saw a guy sitting in front of you he had a hat on his head and a brown coat and the others looked weird to one of then said "Yosano she doesn't look so good" and someone said "I can get her food!" the guy sitting in front of you said "where is he?" You looked at him and said "w-what" he stood up and showed you his hands you slowly grabbed them and he pulled you up and said "I'm ranpo" a girl came up to you and said "come here I'll patch you up" she took your hand and brought you somewhere she said "rest here for a bit Kenji will come give you some food" after a few weeks people there visited you do you walked out they told you their names and when you walked out and saw Kunikida yelling at Dazai you whispered saying "hey um- guys" Kunikida looked at you and dropped Dazai saying "hm?" You said "I need to go back to the place" you told them why you ran away the room was quiet Dazai said "I'll come with you" you nodded and you and Dazai went you have been asked to join the ADA and you said sure you snuck in your house trough your room your dad came when you were leaving and you got scared he was drunk yup he was you looked at him and said "dad-...." he walked to you and said "I told you not to come back" he went to hit you but than Dazai went in front of you taking the hit instead Dazai than said "lay a finger on her and I will break the finger and your hand" you dad got mad and yelled at Dazai saying that your his daughter and he can do what he wants with you by now you were hiding behind Dazai waiting for the rest of the ada Dazai has promised you not to hit your dad no matter what he did the ada came Yosano jumped into some kind of mom mood and grabbed your dad yelling at him while you and Ranpo were trying to pack fast Kunikida was in the car waiting and Dazai looked at your dad you finished than grabbed the thing your mom left you when she passed away you than put it in your bag and told Dazai you were ready Yosano dropped your dad and he fell and than your dad said "NOW DON'T YOU DARE COME BACK YOU FUCKEN BITCH!" Ranpo covered your ears and yelled "AHHHHHHHHH SHE CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUU!" than he walked out with you and Dazai and Yosano followed you guys got in the car and you looked out the window you were saying goodbye to your hoke your childhood home the one your mom was last in you guys have got back to the ada's office Naomi walked to you and said "your back!" You nodded looking down after a bit you and Dazai were talking more and more and you start to gain feeling for him yes you started to gain feeling for the suicidal bandaged Guy Dazai Osamu you have told Ranpo about it and he told you what you can do to help but it didn't work the idiot didn't get it but you wanted to tell him one day and the one day was... Today.....
